Carrie (2013)/ It (2017) Crossover Prompt 1
Sue Snell worked hard to raise her four year-old daughter on her own. She had done her best to make a good life for her, which started with moving from Chamberlain to Derry. The blonde young woman was still haunted by memories of the Black Prom, though. Not a day went by where she didn't think about the cruel prank that was pulled on Carrie White and the chaos that followed.
One day, Sue was filling out an online job application while her little girl played outside. The curly-haired toddler slid down a plastic slide when she spotted what appeared to be a clown standing in the woods nearby. It smiled at her and asked in a deceptively friendly voice if she wanted the red balloon that he held in his hand. Nodding yes, the girl started walking over to him. But just as she was about to reach him, the clown was flung backward by an invisible force deeper into the woods. A figure then rushed up behind the girl, knelt down next to her and asked if she was ok. The kid could see that it was a woman who looked as old as her mom and wore a dirty hoody and jeans with ratty shoes.
The child answered yes, confused as to why she seemed so anxious. The woman then quickly asked for the girl to take her to her mom and both went back towards Sue's house. Unknown to the kid, her savior turned out to be the infamous Bloody Prom Queen, Carrie White.
