Carrie (2013)/The Dark Tower (2017) Crossover Prompt 1
A few years have passed since the tragic events of the Black Prom and Carrie White wanders through the country, avoiding the public and scrounging up whatever she can to survive. Over the course of a few days, she finds herself pursued by mysterious figures who attempt to capture her. Carrie manages to evade them by hiding in an abandoned warehouse where she ends up going through a high-tech portal leading to another dimension called Mid-World.
Very soon, the telekinetic meets the Gunslinger named Roland Deschain. After he explains to her where she is, he learns about the people hunting the girl and tells her that they were minions of Walter Padick, a man who's goal is to obtain psychic children and use their "shine" to bring down a structure known as the Dark Tower at the center of the universe. This would allow monsters from the outer darkness to invade reality and destroy it.
The Gunslinger then vows to protect Carrie and prevent Walter from using her to complete his nefarious plan.
