Halcyon
If there was one thing that every Beacon student was able to agree on, it was that the school was simply far too large for its own good. The building seemed like it had been built to house over a thousand people, maybe even a couple of thousand, but with only two hundred students, many of which being second, third, and fourth years that were frequently away on missions, much of the campus went unused. Many spare buildings littered the cliffside, and even the main building itself had more empty classrooms than students. Occasionally a class would be moved to one of them, or even to another building; but that was usually only when a fight had damaged the usual classroom, which given the nature of the school tended to happen rather frequently.
However, while Ruby was able to agree with her fellow students that the campus was much too large, she was finding it very hard in her current position to consider that to be a bad thing. In fact, she quite liked that she was sitting on a desk in an empty classroom, her hands on Blake's hips as they engaged in a gentle make-out session. It was something that had become much more frequent over the last week.
Seemingly at random, Ruby would find herself either guided, lured, or pulled by surprise, into an abandoned part of the school, where she and Blake were able to simply enjoy each other's company for a couple of precious minutes. And Ruby was completely fine with that. Not only because it always felt really good, but also because their schedules had become so busy that finding time to be together had once again become very difficult.
After everything that had happened with Qrow, Ruby had been trying her best to uphold her promise. However, after feeling really bad about blowing up one of Weiss' glyphs in her partner's face during a training session, she had decided to try and take it slow instead. That naturally meant more solo training sessions to make sure her moves were perfect. In addition to that, Yang had also been quite a bit more attentive since Qrow visit.
Ruby knew it was because her sister felt bad, and she really did appreciate that her sister was around a little more to play video games with and hunt Grimm together; but the extra attention meant she was pretty much always around. In fact, the only reason she had managed to slip away was because Yang was showering after a particularly tough sparring match against Nora in class. As much as she loved her sister, Ruby was half tempted to ask Coco and Velvet to take her out on a date for a while; though even Velvet had been hanging out in their dorm recently with Weiss to work on their little project.
So, with the short few minutes being the only time they could get together, Ruby had been making full use of them where she could. As Blake's teeth bit down gently on her lip, she allowed her hands to slowly slip off of her girlfriend's hips to gently glide around her waist; finally landing on the girl's butt. It definitely wasn't the first time, in fact it happened quite a bit as Ruby had become more confident in her actions, but Blake still let out a small hum of appreciation.
As did she. After all, Blake really did have a great butt.
"We have like seven minutes..." Ruby tried to remind her girlfriend between kisses, despite knowing she was the one who was taking things to the next level. "... till our sparring session… with JNPR."
"Mhm." Blake hummed, catching her lips again and causing fire to ignite in Ruby's stomach.
Though she knew Blake was always a little worried about letting herself act fully on her desires, Ruby actually quite liked it in those small moments when she did. Having always considered herself to be rather plain, there was something about seeing and feeling just how much Blake was attracted to her that caused her stomach to flutter. So, as the faunus' lips moved away from hers and hungrily found their way to her neck, she let out a happy sigh and shifted her head to the side so her girlfriend could have better access.
"JNPR will be waiting." She tried half-heartedly, not actually wanting Blake to stop at all.
"Take your hands off my ass and I'll stop." Blake breathed quickly into her ear, sending shivers through her body which quickly turned to pleasure as lips pressed just beneath her earlobe.
Though the ball was in her court, Ruby knew they had to be going; but with how scarce the moments had become, she couldn't find it in her to move her hands. Instead, she happily dug her fingers in and felt Blake sink her teeth into her neck in response.
"Five more minutes." She agreed.
"Perfect." Blake said with an audible grin.
Her own lips pulled into a smile as she allowed Blake to pepper her with affection, enjoying every minute of it and returning it in any way she could.
Sat in the kitchen of the first year dormitory building, one of the only rooms in the building that was rarely used, Blake idly flicked through the page of her book. Though she would love to be with her girlfriend, who had stayed behind in the training room to do some solo practice, the fight with JNPR really had worn her out due to constantly getting pummeled by Nora's hammer. It certainly didn't help that Pyrrha had been experimenting with her semblance and had found a way to use her magnetism to create electricity and buff the already overly strong hammer wielder whenever she pleased.
So despite her desire to spend more time with Ruby, especially after their brief moment of isolation in the empty classroom, she had decided to retire to the kitchen with Yang, Nora, and Ren to relax. Though, two of her friends were definitely doing a little more relaxing than the others.
"More pancakes!" Nora replied, her usually excited voice a little dampened and lazy.
Blake had learned a while ago that much like Ruby's and Yang, Nora's semblance came with a side effect. The more electricity her body absorbed, the harder it was for her to settle, meaning that she was generally rather restless after a fight… more so than normal at least. As such, Ren usually gave the girl a brownie that contained Halcyon, a harmless plant that had a calming effect on both body and aura, to help her settle down. Though it did make her a little hungrier than usual too.
"More waffles too." Yang added in an equally lazy voice since she too had taken one of the brownies from the plate that sat on the table, though Blake suspected it definitely was not because of her semblance.
"You really shouldn't indulge her." Blake sighed at the boy who had already begun to prepare the food. "She gets away with too much as it is."
"It's fine." Ren said, his voice just as tired as it always was. It was always starting to see the boy go from laid back and sluggish to fearsome and agile in combat. "It's the same thing anyway."
"Hey!" Nora gasped and gave her friend a hurt look.
"I meant the batter, Nora."
"Oh… all forgiven then." The ginger said happily.
Though Ren shook his head, Blake saw the slightest hint of a smile on his lips. Despite having known the pair for over six months, she was still unsure what their relationship exactly was. While it was painfully obvious that Nora was in love with the boy, Ren was much harder to figure out. Though, given his semblance, the inability to read his emotions was pretty understandable; but frustrating nonetheless.
"So, what's JNPR been up to lately." Yang hummed and picked at the small piece of waffle she had on her plate. "Feel like we haven't hung out in ages."
"Hmm, let's see." Nora held out her hand and began to list things off with her fingers. "Training, training, training, and then there was that time Ren pulled me aside for… oh yeah, more training."
"You forgot homework." Ren added, pushing down Nora's little finger as he passed her.
"Sounds like us." Yang chuckled.
"I thought Beacon was supposed to be fun." Nora pouted and slumped out on the table with her arms outstretched so that her fingers could press lightly against the side of Yang's plate. "You said it would be fun, Ren."
"I said no such thing." Ren disputed and held up the batter in Blake's direction. She shook her head. "I said it would help us become better Hunters."
"Which is supposed to be fun." Her fingertips began to press down on the plate, repeatedly lifting it and letting it drop back down with a clink that sent a wave of pain through Blake's head. "Killing Grimm is fun. The arcade is fun. Making things go splat with a hammer is fun. Studying and training is not fun."
"You think killing Grimm is fun?" Blake asked with a raised eyebrow, realising she'd never really asked Nora or Ren why they had decided to train as Hunters. "Is that why you're here?"
"Kinda." Nora huffed as Yang's hand shot out to stop what that girl was doing, the blonde's lilac eyes flickering to Blake who gave her an appreciative smile. "I mean… I haven't really got anything else. No family, no home; just Ren. So I go where he goes. Plus, have you ever ridden an Ursa? It's reeeeeally fun."
"I will have to take your word for it." Blake chuckled and remembered during initiation when Nora had burst out of the woods on the back of said monster and expressed disappointment when it died. "What about you, Ren?"
"Felt like the right thing to do." He replied simply.
Had it not been for Nora's eyes flicking towards the boy with a distinct sadness, Blake might have actually believed him. However, knowing he had likely lied for a reason, Blake decided not to push the matter any further. Instead, she simply leaned back in her chair as she felt Yang's feet land on her lap. Shaking her head, she pushed them away and received a stuck out tongue in return.
"I love it when you make conversation." Yang said with a wide smile, ignoring the scowl Blake threw her way. "You've been quiet lately, and a little moody."
"Thanks." She said sardonically. "I would be a little happier if me and Ruby could, you know, get some time alone."
"Pfft, like you two would do anything if me and Weiss left for the weekend." Yang cackled and threw a piece of waffle into her mouth just as Ren put another plate full down in front of her, giving Nora her pancakes too. "You're as bad as Weiss and Flynt. Get each other all riled up but never follow through."
"Weiss and Flynt?" Ren asked in a confused voice, Nora patting him on the shoulder. Just like Jaune, the boy did seem a little dense to romance.
"I'm not going to dignify that with a response…"
"That's exactly what Weiss would say."
"But I will remind you that Weiss has never come back from one of their study sessions smiling."
"Meh, you know how she is." A mischievous smirk spread across her face as she picked up the waffle despite it having just come off the iron. "Takes a near breakdown for her to admit she likes someone."
"I still say you're wrong." Blake shook her head and reached over to take some of the waffle herself. "And even if you were, I'm sure Weiss would appreciate you not getting involved."
All she received was a shrug from her partner, not exactly inspiring much confidence, but she would take what she could get.
"And you make it sound like you want me and Ruby to do something." Blake said with a sarcastic look. "Kinda weird as her sister."
She received another shrug.
"Both you and my sis have been so high strung lately and I'm about to throw that damn training clipboard of hers off the cliff." Yang grumbled. "She needs something to relax her so go ahead. We both know you won't, but if you do, make sure you give me fair warning. You might have my permission, but I don't wanna see that stuff."
"Well thank you for your permission." Blake replied with a roll of her eyes. "Just the thing I was waiting for."
"Sourpuss."
Blake held her middle finger away from her book, making it very clear that she was flicking her partner off. Unfortunately, it only made the blonde chuckle more.
"How long have you two been dating now anyway?" Ren asked curiously.
Blake genuinely had to think for a minute. "About two and a half months… I think. Why?"
"Just curious. And it doesn't interfere with teamwork?"
"Not really." Blake shrugged, earning a scoff from Yang, though a quick kick to the girl's shin shut her up. "Does Jaune and Pyrrha?"
"Sometimes they get a little flustered and mess up a move." He said. It was always hard to know what was going on in his head, but it seemed there were some thoughts moving behind his eyes.
"Tends to happen with new relationships." Yang smiled as if she was recalling a good memory. "Sorts itself out pretty quickly though."
"Mmm." The boy hummed, sipping his tea as he watched Nora shove a whole pancake in her mouth and give him a wide grin.
"Oo wury oo mush." Ren reached over her and used a finger to push her mouth closed. Rapidly chewing, the girl swallowed. "You worry too much. They're fiiiine, and happy, and super in love. It's sweet."
As she watched Ren wipe away some syrup from his partner's mouth, she felt Yang's feet come to rest on her lap again. Not bothering to move them that time, since she knew they would just come back eventually, she rolled her eyes and looked to the clock just in time to see the clock hit two minutes past three. It had been an hour since they had left the training room, and she definitely recalled seeing Team WCHT had the room booked, so with any luck, Ruby would be headed their way.
Returning to her book as she waited, she felt Yang's heels begin to move in gentle circles on her thighs. Glancing over the top of her page to see the girl was busy pulling apart her waffle, Blake figured the massage was subconscious.
It was something she had noticed about her partner. The girl tended to always be in nurturing mode. Even when she seemed grumpy or tired, she would always do something that showed just how much she had been forced to grow up before her time. Whether it was checking on the team as they did their homework, making sure they ate, or providing massages without even realising; there was always something Yang was doing. And since there really had been a lot of training lately, Blake was more than happy to enjoy the gentle pressure that was working out the stress in her upper leg.
For ten minutes, the four of them continued their casual conversation. While Yang and Nora continued their seemingly eternal argument of pancakes vs waffles, Blake was more than happy to engage Ren in a little discussion about a book series they both read. Just like her and Xanthia, Ren was also a practitioner of ninjutsu, though he also used other martial arts styles too, so it was fun to talk to him about the inaccuracies that the series had.
However just as they were discussing the feasibility of a ninja using a greatsword and also sneaking around, which Blake considered to be infeasible at best, the door burst open and a red blur shot past them towards the cupboards. In seconds, a large bag of cookies had been pulled out.
"How was tr…"
"Sorry." The girl cut her off in a rushed voice. "Studying with Nadu in two minutes and then I need to finish a paper for Oobleck so can't talk." She zoomed across the kitchen and pressed a brief kiss onto her lips. "Oooo, can I have one of these? Thanks, I'll buy you some more later."
Since Blake's eyes had closed for the brief moment of affection, she hadn't known what Ruby would buy more of later. But, as she opened her eyes and saw Ren looking at the plate with concern and turned just in time to see her girlfriend leaving the room with a brownie in her mouth. Putting the pieces together, she looked from Nora to Yang, the former of which had a hand over her mouth while the latter was eyeing the now empty doorway with intrigue.
"Uhhh, are you not going to stop her from eating that?" "Blake asked quickly, making to get up but being held in place by Yang's feet on her lap.
"Nahh." Yang grinned mischievously. "I did say she needs to relax." Yang shrugged and put another piece of waffle into her mouth. "Girl is gonna need more cookies than that though… and some company." Yang chuckled.
Knowing Yang meant her, Blake shook her head and shut her book. While it had definitely not been how she wanted to spend some alone time with Ruby, she was hardly going to let the girl go through her first time on Halcyon alone; even if there was nothing bad that could happen from the plant's calming effect.
So, grabbing her bag and shoving her book back into it, she made for the door. Since the effect took some time to kick in, there was plenty of time to go and get a big bag of cookies from the food court. She also made a mental note to buy Yang's favourite cakes, just so that she could have Ruby eat them in front of her.
"Ruby?"
Pushing the door open, Blake peered into the team room. Despite there being some light shining past the closed curtains, her eyes quickly adjusted to the difference in visibility. It didn't take long for the faunus to find her girlfriend.
The redhead reaper was laid on her back on Blake's bed, not an unusual occurrence, in nothing more than a red tank top and black shorts. Her legs were crossed due to being laid sideways, and her head hung off the side. Her silver eyes, usually so full of life, seemed unfocused as she stared down at the papers on the floor in front of her. Almost absent mindedly, she scrawled away with her hands held behind her head. Even in the low light, it wasn't hard for Blake to notice that most of it was gibberish.
"Ruby?" She said in a softer voice.
Silver eyes looked up into her own, and life ignited behind them again as pearly white teeth were revealed by a wide grin appearing on the leader's face.
"Heeey." The girl replied lazily.
"Are you feeling okay?"
"I don't know." There was genuine uncertainty in her voice. "I feel..." She held out her arms. "I feel like I'm floating. And I'm really hungry but I already ate all my cookies."
"That will teach you not to steal Nora's brownies." She chuckled and entered the room, nudging the door shut behind her as she flipped on the light and held up a bag. "Lucky for you, I brought food."
The girl let out a gasp and reached for the food. "My hero."
Rolling her eyes, Blake passed the girl the bag and walked over to the window. Pulling the curtains open to let the light in, she also cracked the window open so that the room didn't smell like fast food and baked goods. After hiding the strawberry cakes behind the bookshelf, she moved back to the bed and sat down just as Ruby unwrapped a burger and took a large bite. Letting out a loud satisfied hum, the reaper let her head drop as she chewed the meat.
"You'll choke if you eat like that." Blake smiled and poked her girlfriend in the exposed stomach.
"Then you'll save me." Ruby groaned despite already moving to sit up. "You'll always save me when I'm in trouble."
Blake couldn't help but blush a little as Ruby had unknowingly hit upon the reason she had been training so hard with Xanthia. Ruby's actions against the Hellk, the way she had tried to sacrifice herself, still weighed on her. She had sworn to do her best to make sure Ruby never had to sacrifice herself for anyone, and thankfully Xanthia was helping her do that. While the training was hard, and she had definitely wanted to quit a few times, the goal was one she considered worthwhile.
"I definitely will." Blake smiled as she leaned back against the wall, Ruby quickly twisting around and laying her head on her lap.
"Mmm. Want some?"
Ruby held up a couple of fries and Blake happily opened her mouth to accept them. They were a little cold for her taste, but Ruby didn't seem to care. "So how was studying with Nadu?"
"It was good. Did you know he knows loads and loads about traps? He was talking about the one that uses Dust embedded into a tree to..." She trailer off. "Ummm… I forgot. Things started getting fuzzy when he said what it did."
"I'm not surprised." Blake chuckled, reaching down to play with her girl's hair. She really liked the new cut that Coco had given her, and apparently so did Ruby since she had kept it. "Those brownies were made to calm down Nora."
"I thought it tasted weird." The girl mumbled through her food. "What was in it?"
"Halcyon."
"Oh… Ren mentioned that in one of our study sessions. I think. I'm not sure."
Falling quiet for a moment, Blake was more than happy to watch her girlfriend fill her stomach. Food would also help the Halcyon wear off faster. Though she wasn't particularly fond of the plant herself, she had taken it a few times after long raids or nights with Adam to calm herself. Because of that, she also knew a few extra things about it. So, since Ruby was already calmed and there was nothing she could do to change that, she settled for at least making it enjoyable rather than boring.
"Head up a minute." Blake said and gently tapped the girl's head.
Ruby obeyed and lifted up as she placed the last piece of the burger into her mouth and pulled out another from the bag. Reaching down the side of her bed to where she kept things she often found herself reaching for, her fingers pushed aside books and easily found the small box of pens she'd bought a couple of days ago.
"Oooo." Ruby cooed with a mouth overly-full of burger. "Whut oo drawin'? Yor relly gud but don' you need paypa?"
"I wanna try something that you should find fun."
Ruby swallowed.
"Oh? Like the washer? That was fun. Or trying something new? But why the pens?"
"Just lay back down." Blake laughed, pulling the cap off of a marker. Though it wasn't designed for skin, it would work pretty well. "Close your eyes."
Ruby obeyed and Blake gently pressed the tip of the black pen against the girl's skin. As expected, there was a sharp intake of breath from the reaper and Blake felt a smile pull at her face. As well as being calming, Halcyon tended to make the person under it's influence a little more receptive to touch. Not by much, but it usually made the lighter touches feel a little more pleasant.
Pulling an image from her head, Blake started to trace out the general shape, but quickly found her mind being pulled off of it to focus on the soft sounds of her girlfriend. Coos and soft sighs filled the air as the pen gently slid along the girl's pale upper arm and caused certain thoughts to dance at the back of her mind. However, not wanting to try anything while Ruby was under the plant's effect, she buried them and continued with her doodling.
"Can you tell what it is yet?" She asked a minute later as she pulled the pen away for a second.
"A flower." Ruby said with confidence. "It felt weird though. Like I could see it in my mind."
"Mhm," Blake hummed. "That's the Halcyon. It makes your aura a little more sensitive."
"Hmm. It's nice." Ruby sighed happily and put some more fries into her mouth. "Keep going."
Not needing to be told twice, Blake happily returned to the drawing. Minutes passed in near silence, the only sound being Ruby's slow chewing and gentle hums.
Though working on skin was definitely a lot different to paper, Blake found herself enjoying it. Not just because Ruby was given her free reign to touch wherever she needed to keep drawing, but also because she was actually drawing freely again. Slowly outlining more flowers, she found herself slowly humming to herself.
"I like that we're together." Ruby said abruptly, taking Blake by surprise a little.
Looking down, she saw the girl's eyes quickly snap close and take an unconvincingly innocent bite of food.
"Why is that?" She asked curiously, choosing to ignore that Ruby had her eyes open.
"You smile more." Ruby said earnestly. "And you're really pretty when you smile. Not that you're not always pretty, but when you smile your eyes light up and it's really cool and I always liked it."
Had Ruby's eyes been open, she would have definitely seen the smile that pulled Blake's face. It was true that she had been smiling more lately, but it wasn't just because of Ruby. Granted the reaper definitely contributed heavily to it, but Weiss and Yang had definitely played their parts too.
"Well that's because I like being with you." Blake said with a grin. "You make me feel like I can actually atone for my past."
"Because you can." Ruby said softly. "Anyone can make up for their past, they just have to want to make up for it."
"You make it sound so easy."
Ruby chuckled and shook her head a little.
"Maybe not easy, but worth doing. I think it is at least."
"Hmm." She hummed and finished up the pointed leaves of the final flower as she remembered L'Vynda thanking her for returning the bracelet. "It definitely did feel good to be thanked for something."
"See. Worth it."
"Maybe you're right." Blake chuckled, putting the pen away and pulling out a few others.
Continuing her work she set about slowly colouring in the flowers. They were easy enough, despite the skin not really allowing for much shading with the pens. Working with the rose first, she let the red pen smoothly glide over her girlfriend's skin while being careful not to make any sharp moves. As she shaded the rose, Ruby held up one of the cookies she had finally dug out of the bag.
"Chocolate." She said making Ruby pull it back and hold up another. "Strawberry and cream." Again, Ruby's hand disappeared into the bad and finally pulled out a plain cookie. "Thank you."
She reached down and took a bite. Despite it having been a while since they were made, they were still pretty soft. Taking the rest from the girl and having another bite, she finished up the Rose and moved on to the belladonna. Since it was only small, the flower only took as long to colour as it took her to eat the cookie.
The comfortable silence wasn't broken again however until the edelweiss was finished.
"So how was training?" She asked as she used the yellow to colour the sunflower. "Feeling more comfortable with your moves yet?"
"Mhm." Ruby replied, giggling a little as Blake returned the pen to her skin. "I think."
"Sounds like you're still worried about them?"
"Hmm…" Ruby hummed and shook her head. "Not the moves."
"Then what?"
Ruby didn't reply for a couple of seconds. Not wanting to rush her since she knew Ruby would tell her, she let the girl eat the cookie in peace and waited patiently for an answer. After about a minute though, the girl pouted a little.
"Weiss screamed when I blew up her glyph. I mean… she still won but she actually screamed."
"Well, I doubt it would be painless to have a Dust explosion go off in your face." Blake reasoned. "But I don't think she cared about the pain either."
"I know," The redhead huffed. "But it felt bad."
"I…" Blake cut herself off.
However, as if sensing her hesitation, Ruby opened one eye and gave her an understanding look. "It's fine. You can be honest."
She nodded. "I guess it's better to get over that discomfort now than when we go into the field."
"I know. Just don't like making people scream."
Blake understood that. Since Qrow's visit, Yang had informed her about what had happened. She couldn't particularly say she liked the way it was handled, but it was impossible to say that Ruby wasn't taking the lesson to heart. Despite taking it slow, there had definitely been some improvements in their sparring class. She was no longer pulling her strikes and finally beginning to push an offense; but the girl's natural default was still rather defensive with Ruby trying to disarm instead of break her opponent's aura. While that was great for the weapon, it didn't solve the issue of people being able to use their semblance.
"I get that. But just like it's better you learn to fight properly now, it's also better they experience that pain now. It lets them know what they did wrong." She reasoned and pulled out her green pen to finish the drawing. "I doubt Weiss will make the same mistake of putting a glyph that close to her again."
"That's true. Still feels weird."
Blake couldn't deny that. Even when she had first started fighting, the idea of hurting people had felt weird; though the White Fang had quickly rid her of that feeling.
"You'll learn to accept it." She said and finished up the image. Blowing in it, she tapped the girl on the forehead. "Done."
"Ooo. Lemme see."
Sitting up, the girl twisted to look at her arm in the middle. A bunch of blooming flowers stood out against her pale skin. A red rose, white edelweiss, purple belladonna, and yellow sunflower all connected to the same green stem. As she watched Ruby prod around it curiously, she inspected her own work. It wasn't bad, not for her first time drawing on skin, but it most certainly could have been done better.
"It looks awesome!" Ruby said excitedly. "Team RWBY, right?"
"Pretty much." Blake chuckled. "Rose and belladonna are easy comparisons, edelweiss is kinda fitting. For Yang I just figured that one because she reminds me of the sun."
"Little Sun Dragon." Ruby said with a smile. "Yang Xiao Long in Mistralian. A sunflower is perfect."
"Good."
Wrapping an arm around the girl's waist and pulling her in, she placed a kiss on the reaper's shoulder just above the drawing. A shiver ran through the leader at the feeling and Blake smiled as she felt Ruby relax into her. It may not have been the way she wanted to spend an afternoon with her girlfriend, but it definitely hadn't been a bad one. So, reaching into her pocket as she rested her head on Ruby's shoulder, she pulled out her Scroll and turned on the music. It was definitely one of the best ways to wind down from Halcyon.
Raalm's Notes
Welcome back everyone :) I hope you are all well. Nothing massive this chapter, just some calm fun with Ruby, who just so happens to be accidentally high xD This chapter was mainly just a relaxing re-entry with after the break, but there are a few important points here that hint toward the rest of this arc.
Speaking of the arc, this is the final one. I personally dub it the Acceptance arc, and I really hope you enjoy what is to come and how we end the story :)
I also want to move this onto the same two week schedule as Warmth, but there is a little weirdness to be done first with the dates xD So here is the upload date for the next few chapters.
This chapter - 4th of October
Chapter 47 - Fire and Ice - 19th of October (Should be 22nd, but I want to do something for a long time reader's birthday)
Chapter 48 - Aggravation - 5th of November
From chapter 48 onwards, the uploads will be every two weeks :)
Anyway, hopefully that isn't confusing, but I hope you enjoyed this chapter, and I will see you again for the next chapter :)
