Carrie (2013)/The Stand (2020) Crossover Prompt 1
After the Black Prom of 2013, Carrie White falls into a coma and is placed in a high security laboratory for study by the government. Unfortunately, a weaponized strain of influenza called Captain Trips is released and kills most of the world's populace, leaving only a small number alive who are immune. Following this, Carrie awakens to find herself in an abandoned facility and makes her way outside and towards a deserted town.
Eventually, she discovers a group of people being attacked by some rabid dogs. Not wanting to see the only humans she's found end up slaughtered, the girl rushes forward and with a motion of her arms, she hurls a few rebars towards the dogs which impales them. The dogs drop dead, but Carrie suddenly feels dizzy. This is a result of using her powers too soon after coming out her coma. The telekinetic then faints while an adult male from the group rushes forward to help her.
