Author's note: some chapters are going to be long and some are going to be short. Sorry that this one was so short, I was just tired.

"Varian, go to bed."

"No."

"You need sleep."

"Sleep is for the weak."

"Varian."

"Vera."

"Varian"

"Vera"

"Varian!"

This time he leaned in close in a mocking way, "Vera."

Vera groaned, "Why are you so stubborn!" "It's a family trait" Varian answered, moving his cites back to the parchment. But was tackled out of his chair, "ow! Vera why did you do that!" "Because I'm stubborn" Vera mocked.

She then dragged Varian to his bed, and made sure he stayed there until he fell asleep. "Finally" she mumbled.

Varian opened his eyes once he heard her foot steps face away, he sat up. "Well I'm even more stubborn."

Vera shot up out of her nightmare, breathing heavily.

What happened in the dream was now a bit of a blur, but there was one thing that was clear as daylight. "Guardian of Αόρατο?" Vera questioned, the thing that made it stick I her brain was the voice that said it, "see you soon Guardian of Αόρατο." Its voice sent shivers up her spine.

Whoever it was, Vera defiantly didn't want to see them soon.

She finally steadied her breathing and was about to go back to sleep until the light flicker of a candle caught her eye. She got up and opened the curtain.

"VARIAN!"

"Ahh!"
