The twins were on a hill, Varian was adding a few final tweaks to his latest invention Before they could test it, and Vera was just sitting under a tree eating a ham sandwich, occasionally nagging her brother.

"Are you done yet?"

"No."

"Are you done yet?"

"No," he answered firmly. Vera mentally groaned starting to get

She then pulled out her guitar that Varian got her for Their 8th birthday. She looked at the message carved on the side. Don't hide the song in your heart ~Varian.

Vera smiled softly before strumming a few chords. "Walk through the shadow of the Brave, walk through the shadow of the con Kind; Walk down each path that is right." She took a few second break and just strummed.

"I heard this song before, mother was the one who sang it to me; Life can be so hard, you just gotta stand tall." She took a deep breath before continuing, "Walking through the shadows, walking through the shadows, walking through the shadows darkness consumes all and the light disappears, they might not see it but I see it clear; I'm walking through the shadows with you."

Vera then look up and saw Varian tightening the last bolt. "And done" Varian announced.

"Finally!"

He rolled his eyes at the comment as she walked over to the machine, "Now we get to tested" She rubs her hands together. "Well actually, it needs one more thing," Vera raised her brow, "And what would that be?"

Varian scratch the back of his neck, "A name."

The two started do you think, and it did take a while because coming up with the perfect name, in the name of science, is really hard. Vera then thought of something, "I got it!" She said, snapping her fingers.

Varian looked at her, ready to hear what she came up with, "Wait forward-" She paused for dramatic effect.

"The Scotian Glider!" Vera declared, while holding up our hands and staring off into the distance. Varian couldn't help but chuckle, "Scotian? Like Flynn Ryder and the Lost Treasure of Scotia?"

"Yep."

He hummed in thought before nodding his head, "I like it," "Now can we test it" Vera begged, "Yes."

Vera punched the air.

The two got on the glider, which you had a choice of laying on your belly or sitting on your knees, and of course before taking off Varian started listing what each lever was for. "Pull this then you'll turn left, and that one's for turning right-" "And this one's for taking off?" Vera asked with her hand on a big lever.

Varian look at her, surprised that she guessed right, "Uh, yeah, that is for taking-oh no" Before he could stop her, she pulled it, and the glider sat off the ramp and into the sky. Thankfully the wind caught the wings right away.

It was a little bumpy, but they had some belts they used as buckles so they don't fall off.

It was quite peaceful in the sky, seeing everything from her birds I view, being able to touch the clouds. The even flew over the wall and went beyond it a bit.

For a split second though, Vera thought she saw something near the spot where they found the Sundrop. Then the voice from last night's dream came back, "See you soon, Guardian of Αόρατοs" It sent shivers up her spine, but she pushed it aside, trying to think of what's happening right now.

The twins thing flew back over the wall and to the river that went through the forest. They glided over the water, seeing the fish jump around. "I'm glad this invention didn't blow up yet" Vera smiled, "Don't jinx it" Varian said with a playful

They went back above the tree tops and circled the mountains.

"Hey, Vev."

"Hm?"

"What do you thinks going to change now that the princess is back?" "Barefoot is gonna be popular," Varian laughed at his twin sister's answer, "Seriously, what are your thoughts."

Vera looked down at the forest below, "I don't know... When I first heard that the princess was back I thought that maybe the Sundrops power could help. But she doesn't have the hair anymore, nor the power" Varian frowned, he never really liked it when Vera is sad, which is very rare. "Don't worry, we'll find a way," he assured.
