Back at Toon Manor; Amity who was half tired was in the kitchen looking through lots of cook books.
"To easy." said Amity.
She flipped through some pages in one book.
"Not even complex enough." said Amity.
She yawned.
"Man I'm feeling sleepy." She said.
She then grabbed a cup of coffee and drank it all down.
"But I'm resilient to make a good meal for Luz to prove that I am an awesome girlfriend." said Amity.
She looked through more books.
The witch stopped at one recipe and smiled crazily.
"Perfect." said Amity.
She yawned again.
Spongebob who entered the kitchen noticed it.
"Yikes, you okay Amity, looks like you haven't slept in days?" said Spongebob.
Amity turned to Spongebob.
"What day is it?" said Amity.
"Saturday." said Spongebob.
Amity is shocked.
"I'VE BEEN AWAKE FOR SIX DAYS!?" yelled Amity.
She then fainted.
The sea sponge then splashed some water on Amity's face, waking her up.
"POWER NAP, TIME TO GET COOKING!" yelled Amity.
She started getting some ingredients.
She looked at the ingredients.
"Separate two eggs." Amity read.
"Not like the Three Stooges." said Spongebob.
The witch cracked an egg and separated the whites from the yellow.
"There we go." said Amity.
She looked at the cook book again.
"Can of corn." said Amity.
She grabbed a can of corn and a can opener before using it to open up the can.
She poured the contents into a bowl and looked at the book again.
"Small serving of salt." said Amity.
She poured a little salt into the bowl.
Later; the witch was cooking her meal for Luz in an oven.
She pulled it out, revealing it was some type of miniature pot pie.
"Hopefully this chicken pot pie turned out perfectly." said Amity.
She sniffed it before smiling.
"Oh yeah, that smells good." said Amity.
But then she fell asleep.
Spongebob and Lynn Sr who had appeared and saw the whole thing shook their heads.
"Okay, let's get her to bed. You get her feet and I'll get her arms." said Spongebob.
Lynn Sr became confused.
"Why do I have to get the feet?" said Lynn Sr.
"Because I don't want to be in the line of fire if she breaks wind." said Spongebob.
Lynn Sr nodded.
"Should we take her jacket off though?" asked Lynn Sr.
"Nah some people actually sleep in their jackets sometimes." replied SpongeBob.
He grabbed Amity's arms as Lynn Sr grabbed the legs and the two walked off with her.
Luz who was entering the mansion saw the whole thing in confusion.
"Why was Amity asleep in the kitchen?" said Luz.
She walked into the kitchen and saw the pot pie.
"Please don't be another fairy pie." said Luz.
She then saw the cookbook Amity was reading and noticed the recipe for chicken pot pie.
She smiled.
"Oh thank goodness." said Luz.
Later in Amity's room; the witch woke up groaning.
"Wha-what happened?" said Amity.
She looked around and saw that Luz was sitting next to her.
"Oh god, did we make love to each other?" said Amity.
Luz chuckled.
"No, we're to young for that, even marriage." said Luz.
Amity groaned.
"Just out of curiosity, you didn't by chance see a pot pie in the kitchen, did you?" said Amity.
Luz pulled out the untouched pot pie Amity made.
"You mean this thing?" said Luz, "I figured you made this for me and decided it wasn't a good idea to try it if you weren't in the area."
Amity blushed.
"So glad that was the case." said Amity.
"Also, Spongebob told me about your reasoning. You don't have to keep on trying to prove yourself, you're perfect just the way you are." said Luz, "But since we're here."
She pulled out a spoon and scooped a chunk of the pot pie before eating it.
The human became shocked as Amity became confused.
"Luz, are you okay?" said Amity.
Luz set the pie down before putting a hand on Amity's cheek and kissed her on the lips, shocking the witch.
"What, no words?" said Amity.
"I love it. Can't believe you actually made this." said Luz.
Amity blushed.
"Figured I'd try something new." said Amity.
"Well it's really good, you'd make for such a good cook if you set your heart to it. Besides, I was a little disgusted by that fairy pie you made after the petrification ceremony, didn't want to upset you since you might have spent a lot of time on it and it was a while since we last saw each other at the time-"Luz said before turning to see that Amity had fallen asleep and had her head on Luz's shoulder.
Luz smiled and kissed her girlfriend and placed her back in bed and places a blanket over her.
"Maybe I should do something special." said Luz.
