"We need to get back to Duckburg." Daisy said. "I know." Donald replied. "But we have no idea where FOWL will strike next. At least if we stay on our course FOWL won't know where we're headed." "I feel like we should be focusing on the more important issue." May said. "How is FOWL back? A few eggheads obviously still exist but they must have a higher authority. All of the heads of FOWL were killed. Except Bradford who is now just a mindless buzzard." "Enough of staying calm! FOWL is coming after us, we're going to die! Or worse." June said.
Meanwhile back in Duckburg… "Launchpad! Launchpad! Where is that pilot when you need him? Della! Dewey! Webby! Let's go!" Scrooge said. As they got in the plane Della noted the worried look on Scrooge's face. "Alright team, we're headed out to help Donald and Daisy." Scrooge said. "Yeah!" Webby cheered. "We're not going there for recreation. They were attacked by FOWL which appears to be under new leadership." Scrooge finished. "Oh." Webby said disappointed. "Wait, how are they already back? And why are you only bringing the 3 of us?" Dewey asked. "FOWL isn't there right now lad." Scrooge said. We're going there to see what we can do to add protection."
At FOWL Headquarters… "One of my moles has reported that they, along with Scrooge and 2 others are on their way to the boat. We will follow their beacon shortly. In the meantime send our guard to check on the prisoners. Launchpad, start preparing the plane." The FOWL director said.
In St. Canard… "You say you'll be here awhile Launchpad?" Darkwing Duck asked. "Yup, a mysterious voice on the phone said that I had a vacation until further notice." Launchpad stated.
How is Launchpad in two places at once? What is FOWL's plan. And the question remains. Who is the new director of FOWL? If you want you can leave a guess in the reviews. This is the last chapter that I will be posting for the next 2 weeks. I will be working on the story in a notebook so in roughly 2 weeks there will be at least 2 chapters releasing around the same time. As always, thank you for reading.
