Louie was ready for them. He did not plan to hurt his family unless he had to, but was ready to if need be.
Meanwhile… Huey was not happy. How could Louie, of all people trick him? He somehow managed to get him to show him the other bin and even show him how to use the stone of what was. Ugh. How could he have let himself be manipulated like that?
Suddenly he heard something. It was footsteps, but they were too heavy to be Louie's. He couldn't tell what the next sound was, but the next thing he knew his blindfold was being removed.
Huey turned around to see who had freed him and was immediately shocked…
"Zeus?" Huey asked. "What are you doing here, and why importantly why are you doing the right thing?"
"Silence mortal!" Zeus boomed before realizing he wasn't supposed to be here and quieted down.
"I don't want to help you, but that fool has taken over my island and has manipulated my son to the point that I can't even manipulate him to save the island."
"Why would I help you?" Huey asked.
"Because you know that stopping your brother is the right thing." Zeus said.
Huey looked at him warily.
"Alright, I'm sorry, okay! We can try to sort things out later but for right now we need to stop him before he does something insane that could ruin the whole world." Zeus responded.
"Ok, I'll help you. But after all this is over, you have to be more welcoming to everyday people."
Huey said.
"Deal." Zeus said.
It has been a long time since I've posted a chapter but I'm almost done updating the chapters and I will now be getting out new chapters sooner than before. The major finish for this section of the story is coming. I will hopefully post a new chapter soon.
