A/N- So, this story is completely inspired by a certain something I saw on the internet. I'll put it in the author's note in the next chapter, but leave a review and try to guess what it is. Anyways, I don't own MadArcher, ABC does. Enjoy!
"Alice, are you sure about this?" Regina queried for the third time. "Once I do this spell, we can't undo it. You guys have to be absolutely sure that this is what you want."
Robin slid her hand into Alice's, and smiled. "Yeah. This is what we want. We've never been so sure of anything before."
"Okay, then. All you have to do is hold hands, and channel all your love for one another into thoughts of your baby," Regina instructed. "Ready?"
Both women nodded, and they visualized the baby that they had talked about for so long. Every detail in their minds was the same, except for the most stunning feature in each of their minds. Robin could very clearly see in her mind's eye their daughter's beautiful blue eyes, exactly the same as Alice's. Alice, however, was visualizing their daughter's green eyes, the same shade as Robin's.
Regina waved her hand, and a wave of purple magic swirled around Alice and Robin. Alice held tight to her wife's hand as the magic entered her stomach, filling her from the inside out with a comfortable warmth. The sensation faded after a moment, and she and Robin let go of each other's hands.
"Is that it?" Robin asked. Regina nodded. "Really? You didn't even say Bippity Boppity Boop."
"Bippity boppity boop?" Alice repeated incredulously.
"Yeah. Isn't that how it works?" Robin inquired curiously. "Bippity boppity boop: there's a baby."
"Bippity boppity boop there's a baby?" Alice exclaimed. "Surely it's more complicated than that."
"No, Robin's right," Regina confirmed. "The power of your love did most of the work. I just had to redirect it."
"So, just to clarify, the baby will have both of our DNA, right?" Robin questioned her aunt.
"Yes, she will be biologically related to both of you. Not that it really would have mattered," Regina reassured. "Neither you, Roland, or Henry were my biological children, but I didn't love you any less for it."
"I know, but it's still kind of cool," Robin replied. "Getting to know a child that you helped to create. Alice, love, do you feel any different?"
"No, not really," Alice admitted. "But I do think it worked. I felt the magic, right here."
She placed her hand on her stomach, which would soon swell up a bit as their child grew inside of her.
"Well, thanks Aunt Regina," Robin said, turning to leave. "We'll let you know once she starts to show symptoms."
For a few weeks, nothing changed about Alice at all. In fact, she was so much the same that Robin feared the spell hadn't worked. However, nearly two months after Regina used her magic to impregnate Alice, something incredible happened. Well, incredible in theory. It wasn't so incredible for poor Alice in the moment.
Robin had been making a pot of coffee, and Alice came down the stairs and smelled it, her nose crinkling in disgust.
"Ew, Nobin, what is that? It smells horrid," Alice complained to her wife, feeling a bit nauseous.
"It's just coffee, love," Robin replied, looking at Alice in concern. "Are you feeling alright? I know you don't like coffee, but smelling it's never bothered you before."
"Yeah, I'm fine, I just-" Alice never finished her sentence, as she had to run to the bathroom. She threw up in the toilet, and Robin held her hair back, her other hand rubbing soothing circles on Alice's back.
Once Alice had thrown up everything she'd eaten in the last week, she laid down on the bathroom floor, relishing the way the cool tile felt on her face.
"Alice, come on into the bedroom, and I'll get you some toast and ginger ale," Robin urged. Alice, however, just shook her head.
"I'm comfortable here," she insisted.
Robin rolled her eyes, and slipped her hand under her stubborn wife's knees, lifting her bridal style and carrying her into the bedroom. She settled Alice down on the bed, and walked away to make her some toast.
When she returned with Alice's breakfast, her wife was sitting up in the bed, and she looked considerably better.
"How're you feeling, Alice?" Robin queried gently, taking Alice's hand.
"Much improved, thank you," Alice smiled. "But I think that confirmed it."
"Confirmed what, love?" Robin asked, not fully grasping what Alice was hinting at.
"Robin, love," Alice took her wife's hand. "I'm pregnant."
It took a moment for the words to set in. Once they did, she stuttered quite a bit, and openly stared at Alice. Then, the shock wore off, and the joy settled in its place. She leapt off the bed, picked up Alice, and spun her around in a circle. Tears of joy flowed down both womens' faces, and they both held each other for a long time.
When they finally broke apart, it was because Alice's nausea had returned from being spun around so much, and she had to run to the bathroom to throw up. Robin retook her place comforting Alice and keeping her hair out of the way, both women grinning from ear-to-ear the whole time.
A/N- Hey, so I know it's pretty short, but it's supposed to be. Some of them will be short, some long, but they will all be mostly fluff, if not all fluff. Anyways, hope you enjoyed, have a blessed day, loves!
