t's not that hard to long for an adventure. Just recently my grandfather died a few days ago and I miss him already very much. Father handed me something that was once his, a dinosaur amulet. He then said, "Grandfather would want you to have this Irene, that way he'll always be close to you."

I put on the amulet and made a sad face and hugged my father. He said, "I miss him too honey. You know exploring the yard will help cheer you up." I smiled and said, "Thanks Dad, I'll give it a try." So I went outside. I'll miss grandfather. He used to tell me stories. Stories about dinosaurs in the modern world to grant wishes.

I wonder if it would be possible. Grandfather used to say to me that just because there aren't any dinosaurs in a modern world like ours doesn't mean that it would happen here in our world. I took his word for it. I'll always do that.

Then I began to notice my grandfather's amulet starting to glow. I got confused. What is going on? Before I had time to find out more on what is going on, a flash of orange and purple and red light surrounded me. It then engulfed me and spun me around. This is like a wild ride.

Then I landed with a thud and groaned. I checked my surroundings and got my eyes wide in surprise. There were buildings and the streets are busy.

I have a strange feeling that I'm not at home anymore, I must be in the big apple, New York City!
