A/N- Wow, look at that: I actually got a chapter out on time for once. Hi guys! I know this is short, but I felt that it needed to be done. Thank you for all your reviews, and I promise I'm going to work harder to finish this. Enjoy!

"How about. . . there?" Alice asked, pressing Robin's hand to yet another spot on her abdomen.

They had been at this for almost an hour, but Alice insisted that Robin would be able to feel their baby kicking. She was very active this morning, and Alice was determined to let Robin experience her movements.

"Alice, I don't feel. . ." Robin's voice trailed off as she felt a tiny movement under her hand.

"There. You felt that, didn't you?" Alice said in her adorable British accent, her eyes sparkling with joy.

"Yeah," Robin breathed. "There it is again!"

Sure enough, Alice felt a little tap against the inside of her stomach. Robin's eyes lit up with wonder, and a smile graced Alice's face.

Robin sat there for at least ten more minutes, feeling the baby kick for the first time. Suddenly, a thought popped into her head.

"Does that hurt?" she inquired, concern filling her voice.

"No," Alice replied. "It feels kind of strange, and it's a bit uncomfortable, but it's so wonderful, Robin."

Suddenly, she popped off the couch like the seat had caught fire. The first time this had happened, it had startled Robin, but by now, she was used to it.

"Bathroom?" she asked sympathetically.

Alice nodded.

"She kicked my bladder," Alice explained.

With that, she waddled off to the bathroom, leaving Robin missing the feeling of the baby's tiny foot under her hand.

When Alice got out of the bathroom, she had a small grimace on her face.

"What's the matter?" Robin queried urgently, jogging to her wife's side.

"She keeps kicking my ribs," Alice explained. "I think she missed you, because she's not doing it now."

Robin knelt down to speak to Alice's bump.

"Did you miss Mommy?" she cooed.

She took a gentle kick pressing against her hand to be her daughter's answer.

"I missed you too. But you can't kick Mama's ribs," Robin chastised gently.

Baby Mills kicked again.

"Hey now, little Missy," Robin chastised, waving a finger at Alice's swollen belly. "No playing soccer inside. You have to wait until you're out here with me to play soccer."

Alice giggled.

"Is she playing indoor soccer?" she joked.

Robin laughed, a proud, low chuckle that was almost a perfect imitation of her father's, though neither she nor Alice knew it.

Baby Mills kicked again- though it was more of a love tap than a kick- in response to Robin's laugh.

"You know," Robin said, kissing the spot where the baby had just kicked before standing up to look at Alice's face. "I heard that if you talk to the baby while they're in the womb, they'll recognize your voice. Maybe she'll recognize our laughs too."

"Well, it's worth a try," Alice replied.

Together, she and Robin linked arms and walked to the couch, then proceeded to take turns making each other laugh, determined to make their different giggles both familiar sounds to their daughter so that when they finally got to hold her, the sound of their laughter would be comforting, and would remind her of home.

A/N- So, how was that? I know it was short, but I thought it would be a nice, fluffy little thing to tide you over until I can think of something better. Again, prompts would be greatly appreciated. Also, be sure to vote on your favorite name choice for the baby: Tiera Rose Mills or Cecilia Belle Mills? Thank you for reading, and have a blessed day, loves!
