A/N- Hello again, guys! I would like to thank you again for all the reviews. You've been an amazing group of readers. Anyway, here's chapter 15. Enjoy!

When Robin got home from Roni's that day, she found Alice, now seven and a half months pregnant, dancing around the kitchen with a mop, humming a classical tune to herself.

"Alice, I'm home!" Robin called, startling her wife and causing her to drop the mop.

"Robin!" Alice exclaimed, giving her wife an affectionate hug. "You startled me! I didn't hear you come in."

"Sorry," Robin apologized. "I didn't mean to startle you."

"That's okay," Alice smiled. "I was just. . . err. . . cleaning!"

"Oh, you were cleaning, huh?" Robin raised an eyebrow skeptically.

"Well, I was cleaning," Alice confessed. "But then I ran out of things to clean, so I decided to dance instead."

"Well, would you like a dance partner?" Robin offered. "One who's a little less. . . stiff?"

She extended her hand toward Alice, who took it without hesitation, leaning the mop against the counter.

"Could you play some music?" Alice requested. "Anything's fine, so long as we can ballroom dance. I'm not really in the mood for freestyling my dance moves."

"Why of course, my love," Robin smiled, taking out her phone. "Anything for my beautiful wife and my little Duckling."

Robin played the first slow dance song she could think of, which just so happened to be, "Beauty and the Beast," from the animated Disney movie.

Robin turned the volume all the way up, slid her phone onto the counter, and pulled Alice in, one hand on her waist, the other holding Alice's outstretched hand.

Slowly, they began to waltz around the kitchen, their movements practiced and sure.

Alice had taught Robin how to dance when they got engaged. It was something she could very clearly remember doing with her Papa when she was little in the tower, and she had always dreamed of dancing with the love of her life on their wedding day.

Robin, having all the athleticism and grace of a natural-born archer, had taken to dancing almost immediately.

Now, Alice and Robin danced frequently together, and had come to be so in tune with one another that they could dance for hours, around and around any room, and not miss a single beat.

As the song drew to a close, Alice looked up at Robin with a delighted expression on her face.

"What's got you so excited?" Robin queried contentedly.

"Good news," Alice smiled. "Duckling likes to dance too!"

"Oh, yeah?" Robin replied.

"Yeah," Alice sighed happily. "She's doing somersaults in there."

Robin, too blissfully happy to come up with anything witty to say in response, simply leaned down to give her wife a kiss, hoping to convey her feelings without saying a word.

When she pulled back, she couldn't help but sigh contentedly.

"Ah, true love's kiss," she said. "There really is nothing like it."

Robin took her phone off the counter, and she and Alice made their way to the couch, content for now with only one dance.

"Do you ever wonder who Duckling's true love will be?" Alice asked after a moment.

"Sometimes," Robin admitted. "Though it's definitely too early to tell."

"I know," Alice sighed. "But I wonder what their story will be like."

"What do you mean?" Robin asked, shifting so that she was facing Alice.

"I just wonder if it'll be like so many of the other stories that I've been reading her," Alice confessed. "Like David and Snow. They were destined to be together, but they had to lose each other over and over again before they ended up together. Or Belle and Rumple! They lost each other so many times. Their story is so heartbreaking; I don't want little Duckling's story to be like that!"

Robin opened her mouth to say something in response, but Alice was still going.

"Or even worse, what if their story is like your Aunt Regina and your dad?" Alice fretted. "Or your Aunt Regina and Daniel? What if their story ends like that- before it even really has a chance to play out? Or what if-"

Robin stopped her wife's nervous rant with a gentle hand on her arm.

"Alice, can I ask you something?" she requested.

Alice node mutely.

"What if their story is like ours?" Robin suggested.

"Well, our story wasn't exactly a walk in the park either, was it?" Alice grumbled.

"No, let me finish," Robin scolded gently. "What if our daughter and whoever she ends up with make it? What if they overcome all the obstacles in their way, and they end up where we are right now; just a month and a half away from having a baby of their own, and worrying about the future of their child? What if they have a wonderful life together? Did that ever cross your mind?"

Alice grinned sheepishly.

"No, I suppose not," she admitted. "And besides, you were right earlier. It's much too early in her life to be worrying about this, isn't it?"

"Yeah, probably," Robin agreed. "How about this? For now, we just sit here, and watch a movie, and from now on, we just take things one step at a time."

"Alright," Alice smiled. "Now. What shall we watch?"

And there, curled up on the couch together and watching Harry Potter, it was easy to live in that moment, and that moment only.
