That night, Luz, Eda, King, Amity, and Lilith were walking down a path that led towards a factory building, and they stopped and looked at a sign that said "Blight Industries."

"Here we are", Amity said, "Blight Industries."

The five Owl House residents made their way towards the factory, when something fell out of Luz's pocket.

"Oops", Luz said.

Luz bent down and picked up the fallen item, and Amity noticed that it was the key to Eda's portal.

"Isn't that Eda's key", Amity asked.

"Yes it is", Luz said.

"What are you carrying that thing around for", Eda asked.

"I'm still trying to see if it has any clues for how I can get home", Luz said, "I've been carrying it with me everywhere I go for safe keeping."

"Well, perhaps you should let someone else hold on to it", Lilith said, "just to be on the safe side."

"She's got a point, Luz", Eda said, "luckily, I know just the place to put it."

Eda took the key and put it inside her hair.

"There", Eda said.

"Good thinking, Eda", King said, "anything you put in your hair is safe and sound."

"Wow, Mom", Amity said, "am I ever gonna have hair like yours?"

"You might", Eda said, "all you have to do is let it grow out, and you'll be stuffing random junk in there in no time."

"Um, okay", Amity said, "good to know."

At the entrance to Blight Industries, Edric, whose face no longer looked injured, was greeting hooded figures who were entering the building, and he taped a piece of paper that said "HEX ME" onto one of the hooded figure's backs, when Luz and the others arrived.

"You're here", Edric said.

"That's right", Luz said.

"Hey, your face is all better", King said.

"Only because Mom and Dad don't want anyone to know we were injured", Edric said, "they used a healing spell to heal me and Emira so no one would know they abused us."

Hearing that made Amity seethe with anger.

"Monsters", Amity thought, "I'll make them suffer."

Edric handed her and the others hoods to put on.

"Put these on and hurry inside", Edric said, "the auction's about to begin."

"Got it", Luz said, "come on, guys."

They all put on their hoods and entered the building, and Edric knocked on the top of a barrel that was next to him.

"Okay, Em", Edric said, "they're in."

Emira, whose face was also healed, took the lid off the barrel and stuck her head out.

"Great", Emira said, "now it's time for us to put our plan in action."

"Okay", Edric said, "let's get moving."

Edric and Emira walked away somewhere, and inside, the Owl House residents made their way to the front row, and the lights went out.

"Looks like they're starting the auction", Luz said.

Over on the stage, a spotlight shone on Odalia and Alador, who were both wearing hoods.

"Welcome, valued investors, to tonight's private auction", Odalia said.

Odalia and Alador removed their hoods, and the latter tripped over while doing so.

"As you all have probably heard, the Emperor has taken a strange interest in the human apprentice of Eda the Owl Lady, and has placed a warrant for her capture", Odalia said.

"And even though they're not as important as her, he has also placed high prices on the heads of her accomplices", Alador said.

"We understand that many of you have a desire to capture the human and her allies and bring them to Emperor Belos so that you may collect the hefty rewards offered in exchange for them", Odalia said, "that is why my husband, the greatest abomination creator of the era, has created an entire line of traps and weapons fit for all your bounty hunting desires."

A spotlight shone on a table that had all kinds of abomination devices on it, and the crowd applauded while Luz and the others looked on.

"And now, without further ado, let's start the bidding", Odalia said.

Alador walked up to a podium and cleared his throat.

"Our first item tonight is our sticky launcher", Alador said.

Odalia picked a gun-type weapon up off the table and fired it, and a glob of abomination clay hit a nearby crash dummy, pinning it to the wall.

"Perfect for peacefully subduing your foe", Alador said, "but if peaceful's not your thing..."

Odalia switched the launcher to a different mode, and a green flame shot out from it, which she used to burn the crash dummy to a crisp.

"Bidding begins at one thousand snails", Alador said, "do I hear one thousand snails?"

The witches in the audience began holding up their paddles to place bids, and Amity looked at Odalia and Alador.

"Enjoy it while you can", Amity thought, "you'll be feeling my vengeance once this is over."

The auction went on for hours, with the witches in attendance all placing high bids and walking away with the Blights' products, all while Amity stood in waiting planning to take revenge on her former adoptive parents, and pretty soon, the auction began to wind down.

"Thank you for coming, folks", Alador said, "it's been a pleasure having you here."

"But before you go", Odalia said, "we have one more item up for auction."

Odalia clapped her hands, and a platform rose up on the stage, and on it was what looked like an abomination wearing bronze-colored armor.

"The first glimpse of our crowning achievement", Odalia said, "the Abomaton Soldier!"

The crowd oohed and aahed at the Abomaton, and Amity and the others looked at it with interest.

"If those lowlifes are too damn stubborn for you to capture, then the Abomaton is just what you need to help with that", Odalia said, "just look at what it's capable of."

The Abomaton brought down its fist on a crash dummy several times, and then picked it up and, using both hands, broke it clean in half, much to the crowd's amazement and the Owl House residents' shock.

"Of course, that sort of approach may not be best for capturing the human, who Emperor Belos wants alive", Alador said, "but for her friends, it's okay."

"Yes", Odalia said, "there's the Owl Lady, her sister, that weird pet thing of hers, and our former daughter Amity."

Odalia let out a sinister chuckle as the thought about Amity.

"With the Abomiton, the possibilities are endless", Odalia said, "crushing their skulls, ripping their heads clean off their shoulders, all of these and more to fulfill your desires of bringing a painful end to the Clawthorne family."

Amity was now dead-set on enacting her revenge on the Blights.

"Anywho, let's begin the bidding", Alador said, "do I hear 100,000 snails?"

The attendees began raising their paddles to place their bids, and Eda spoke to the others.

"Okay, I think we've seen enough", Eda said, "now we know what everyone's got."

"Looks like we'll have to be careful when we go out", Luz said.

"That's right", Eda said, "now come on, let's get out of here."

Eda walked away with Luz, King, and Lilith, but she soon realized that Amity wasn't with them.

"Hold on", Eda said, "where's Amity?"

The others saw that Amity was still standing in front of the stage.

"Amity", Eda said, "come on, we need to go."

Amity didn't respond, so Luz went over to her.

"Amity, we're done here", Luz said, "it's time to..."

Luz put her hand on Amity's shoulder, and she responded by pushing it off, much to the latter's surprise.

"500,000 snails", Alador said, "do I hear 500,000?"

Amity held a bidding paddle up in the air.

"I see we have a bidder for 500,000", Alador said, "now how about 550,000?"

The others watched on with horror as Amity continued to bid for the Abomiton.

"What in the Boiling Isles does she think she's doing", Lilith asked.

"Not what her mother told her, that's for sure", Eda said.

As Alador raised the price higher, Amity kept bidding, and the former was amazed by how bold the latter was with her bidding.

"And now, one million snails", Alador said, "do I hear one million snails?"

The other attendees had given up at this point, and Amity rose her paddle high in the air.

"One million", Alador said, "going once, going twice..."

Alador banged his gavel down on his podium.

"Sold to the young witch up in the front for one million snails", Alador said.

With the final product having been auctioned off, the witches in attendance began clearing out, and Amity began to make her way to the stage, but Eda ran up to her and grabbed her arm.

"Amity Clawthorne, you listen to me", Eda said, "if you're going to do what I think you're going to do, I swear..."

Amity responded by pulling her arm from Eda's grasp and continued walking up the stairs, and Luz and the others went over to Eda.

"I don't like where this is going", Luz said.

"It's not going anywhere good", Eda said, "I can tell you that much."

On the stage, Amity walked up to Odalia and Alador.

"Congratulations, young bidder", Alador said, "you are now the proud owner of your very own Abomaton."

"Would you like to pay for it now, or do you want us to come collect your payment at a later date", Odalia asked.

"Also, just so you know, we don't accept checks", Alador said.

Amity just stood their in silence.

"Well", Odalia asked.

Amity continued to stand there and say nothing, much to Odalia's annoyance.

"I need an answer", Odalia said, "do you wish to pay for this now or later?"

"Or did you never intend on paying for it", Alador asked.

A grin appeared on Amity's face underneath her hood.

"I believe this should cover it", Amity said.

Amity made a spell circle, and a large abomination picked up the two Blight parents, and Amity removed her hood, much to the horror of Eda and the others.

"Amity", Odalia said, "fancy seeing you here tonight."

"Odalia and Alador Blight", Amity said, "at last, we meet again."

Odalia took notice of Amity's new hairstyle and its lilac coloration.

"I see you changed your hair", Odalia said, "disgusting."

"I think it's a nice color on her", Alador said.

Odalia shot her husband an angry glare, and then turned back to Amity.

"I'm here to put an end to you two once and for all", Amity said, "I know what you did to Edric and Emira, and now it's time for you to pay."

At that moment, Odalia began laughing evilly, much to Amity's confusion.

"What are you laughing about", Amity asked, "don't you know that I've got you both?"

"That's where you're wrong, Mittens", Odalia said, "it's us who have got you and your friends."

Alador made a spell circle that caused the abomination that was holding them to disintegrate, and he and Odalia walked up to her.

"Did you honestly think that we wouldn't suspect you all would attend our auction in secret", Odalia asked.

"We were aware that you all would be coming here to observe it", Alador said.

Amity was shocked to hear it.

"You knew", Amity asked.

"That's right", Odalia said, "we had been informed of this ahead of time."

Amity could hardly believe her ears.

"We've been tricked", Amity said, "but who could've..."

She then noticed Edric and Emira standing at the factory doorway, and a look of rage appeared on her face.

"You", Amity said.

Amity got down from the stage and began making her way towards them, and they looked at each other with concern.

"What's Amity doing", Edric asked.

"And why does she look so pissed", Emira asked.

Amity walked up to them and silently punched Edric in the face and elbowed Emira in the stomach, followed by her pushing her to the ground, and then summoned a pair of hands from the ground that were made from abomination clay that she used to brutally pulverize the twins.

"I trusted you two", Amity said, "but you betrayed us!"

Amity continued to hurt Edric and Emira while Eda and the others watched in shock, with Lilith especially horrified by the scene taking place, and Eda decided to intervene.

"Amity, stop this madness right now", Eda said.

"Stay out of this, Mom", Amity said.

At last, Amity made a spell circle that caused the abomination hands to disappear, and she picked up Edric and Emira by their heads.

"Mittens, listen to us", Edric said, "we..."

"Shut up", Amity said, "all this time I thought we were friends, but it turns out you two are as as treacherous and conniving as your parents."

And then, Amity slammed their heads together, causing them to groan in pain as they fell to the ground unconscious.

"That's them taken care of", Amity said, "and now it's time to settle the score with you two!"

Amity ran towards Odalia and Alador screaming, but the Abomaton that had been up for auction appeared in front of her.

"Abomaton, destroy her", Odalia said.

The Abomaton tried to attack Amity, but she made a spell circle that caused it to split in half, much to the shock of the Blight parents.

"Impossible", Odalia said.

With the Abomaton out of the way, Amity continued running towards Odalia and Alador, but she suddenly stopped in her tracks.

"Hey", Amity said, "what's going on?"

She looked down and saw that she had stepped on what seemed to be a piece of flypaper that had abomination clay on it.

"Although we created our products with the purpose of auctioning them off to the highest bidders, we keep a few for ourselves", Odalia said.

"Yes", Alador said, "that sticky trap you've stepped in is highly advanced, so I wouldn't recommend struggling to get out."

"Or what", Amity asked.

Amity moved in an attempt to get her feet free from the trap, when abomination clay began to creep up her legs, much to her shock.

"That", Alador said.

The abomination clay continued to crawl up her legs, and soon reached her waist.

"What's happening", Amity asked.

"Just a little extra feature to help keep you in place", Odalia said, "make sure you're in a comfortable position once it hardens."

Amity was shocked to hear that, and saw that the clay was now at her torso.

"Someone get me out of here", Amity said.

"Hang on, Amity", Eda said, "we're coming!"

Eda rushed over to Amity with King and tried to get her free of the trap, but when a piece of clay landed on King, he noticed that it began to cover his body like it was with Amity.

"Uh, Eda", King said, "we have a problem here."

Eda noticed the clay on King's body beginning to cover him, and then noticed that some clay on her hands was beginning to crawl up her arms to cover her as well.

"I'll say we do", Eda said.

By now, Amity's body was completely covered in now-hardened abomination clay, and Eda and King were beginning to get covered as well.

"We have to do something to help them, Lilith", Luz said.

"You got it, Luz", Lilith said.

Lilith ran towards the others and Luz followed her, but she suddenly got grabbed from behind and pulled away, and when Lilith hurried over to Amity, Eda and King, she looked to her side and saw that Luz wasn't with her anymore.

"Luz", Lilith asked.

She looked around for Luz, but she (Luz) was nowhere to be seen.

"Where is she", Lilith asked.

"Yes, indeed", Odalia said, "where is the human?"

Lilith looked at Odalia and Alador with concern, and just outside Blight Industries, Luz had been dragged outside by a pair of witches who were wearing hoods.

"Let me go", Luz said, "who are you guys, anyway?"

"Luz, it's just us", one of the witches said.

The two witches removed their hoods, revealing themselves to be Willow and Gus.

"Willow, Gus", Luz asked, "what are you two doing?"

"We were asked to come here to rescue you in case something bad happened", Willow said, "and it looks like that's just what happened."

"They said that it's important that we keep you safe so Emperor Belos doesn't get his hands on you", Gus said.

"But Amity and the others are still in there", Luz said, "I have to save them!"

Luz darted off back towards Blight Industry.

"Luz, wait", Willow shouted.

Willow and Gus took off after her, and Luz burst open the door and went inside.

"Alright, Blights", Luz said, "prepare to..."

She then noticed that no one was inside.

"Hello", Luz asked, "is anyone here?"

Luz looked around, waiting for a response, but no one replied.

"If you two are hiding with my friends, show yourselves", Luz said, "I'll fight you if I have to."

There was still no response, and Luz grew more and more worried.

"Come out", Luz shouted, "come out and face me!"

Willow and Gus had finally caught up with Luz.

"There you are", Willow said, "don't run away like that again, please."

She and Gus noticed that Luz was just standing there, and they could tell that she was upset.

"Uh, Luz", Willow asked.

The two young witches walked over to Luz.

"Is everything okay, Luz", Gus asked.

Tears were beginning to form in Luz eyes.

"They're gone", Luz said.

"Who's gone", Willow asked.

"Odalia and Alador", Luz said, "they took them away."

Willow and Gus looked at each other in worry, and then looked back at Luz.

"Eda, King, Lilith, and Amity", Luz said, "they took them to the Emperor, and I couldn't save them in time."

Then, she got down on her knees and began crying, and Willow and Gus comforted their friend.
