A/N- Why, hello everyone! I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for your awesome reviews. They really mean the world to me. Anyway, this chapter has been giving me some pretty bad writer's block, so I'm sorry if it's terrible. Enjoy!

When Robin woke up, she could tell that it was going to be a rough day.

Alice was already awake, and she was giving her bump a frustrated glare, her arms crossed and tears beginning to form in her crystal blue eyes.

"Alice?" Robin asked cautiously, not wanting to send her wife into a full blown meltdown. "Are you alright?"

"No!" Alice exclaimed, causing Robin to flinch.

"What's wrong?" Robin inquired, instantly regretting it when Alice whipped her head towards her.

"What's wrong?" Alice repeated. "I'll tell you what's wrong! Your daughter is making me miserable! She kicked me all night, so I haven't gotten a wink of sleep. I can never get comfortable, but anytime I do, she shifts around and makes me uncomfortable all over again! I'm hot all the time, none of my clothes fit, I haven't seen my legs in three months, and I'm so huge that someone at the grocery store congratulated me on having twins!"

The last statement in Alice's rant elicited a snort of laughter from Robin, which instantly caused Alice to burst into tears.

"Oh, Alice, hey, I'm sorry," Robin soothed, sitting up and drawing Alice into her arms.

"I just want her to be born already," Alice sniffled. "Does that make me a terrible mum?"

"No, love, no," Robin comforted, rubbing her hand up and down Alice's arm soothingly. "You're a week overdue, and you have every right to want to meet the little girl who's been kicking your bladder for the last nine months."

"Are you sure?" Alice asked.

"I'm sure," Robin reiterated gently. "Now. I may not be able to make that baby come out any faster, but is there anything I can do to help make you more comfortable for now?"

"Can you rub my lower back?" Alice requested, her previous doubts forgotten for the time being. "It's hurting really bad today."

"Of course, love," Robin smiled. "Anything else?"

"Yeah, actually," Alice said, a smirk spreading across her face. "You can pull out that fancy computer thing that's sitting in the office and see if it's true that there's nothing you can do to get this baby out faster."

Thirty minutes later, Robin found herself perusing the shelves of the local department store, looking for pineapple, hot sauce, and a yoga ball.

As it turns out, there are a lot of natural ways to induce labor, and so Robin had shown the list to Alice and let her pick out what she wanted to do.

She was hoping that Alice would choose sleeping with her partner, as that method was shown to be the most effective and enjoyable, but Alice had vetoed that idea pretty quickly. She really wasn't feeling up to it, and Robin loved her more than enough to respect that.

So now, Robin was searching for the ingredients for a spicy pineapple curry recipe that she'd found in one of her mom's old cookbooks fifteen minutes ago.

After locating everything but the yoga ball, (she was sure to have fun explaining that to Alice) she checked out and returned home to take care of Alice.

The curry was such a success, Robin was let off the hook for the yoga ball.

After dinner, Robin drew Alice a lavender bubble bath and rubbed her shoulders as she soaked in the tub.

"Robin?" Alice asked lazily, looking up at her wife.

"Yeah?" Robin replied, moving her fingers from Alice's shoulders to the knots around her ribs.

"Thank you," Alice sighed.

"For what?" Robin inquired.

"For everything," Alice smiled. "You've been amazing."

"Hey now, don't sell yourself short," Robin scolded gently. "You're the one doing all the work. I'm just here to help out where I can."

"Still," Alice said firmly. "Thank you."

"You're welcome," Robin responded gently, knowing better than to disagree again.

When they finally went to bed that night, Alice no longer cared whether or not the curry had worked. As long as she had her daughter and her wife, she could handle anything.

A/N- So, what did you think? It wasn't very long, I know, but the next one's way longer. As soon as we get two reviews, I'll post it. As always, thank you for reading, and have a blessed day, loves!
