Missing pieces
It is the morning of the day Annabelle is starting at St Teresa's catholic boarding school
Annabelle pov
This is the 3 school, i have been at this year. It was 6am and i am not in the mood. Mum has spent about 2 days on the phone. I was caught by the papers for being drunk and fighting. My friend Harriett has had no problem, but i am the daughter of senator Tillman so my every bloody move is watched.
Mum shouts my name as loud as possible, i could hear her in paris. I start smoking to delay our departure. Mum shouts louder, i walk slowly downstairs still smoking, mum rolls her eyes ive never smoked before today but i reckon i need a distraction from today.
I get into the car, mum is on the phone, i roll my eyes whats new i think. Shes never stopped to ask why im in trouble, she just sends me elsewhere. This new school will be the exact same, the car comes to a stop. Mum gets out and goes inside this big building noone is around. I get out, the coiuffeur gets my bags out and puts my stuff on the floor. I light up my 4th cigarette today and mum comes out.
"Someone will be out to get you"
I keep smoking and mum just walks away, i sit on the wall outside the building with my stuff.
