Hello all. TheWhiteTitan has given me permission to do a Reading of series for their Phantom Leader series. Hope you all enjoy.

Summary: Danny Phantom, Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Raven, Beast Boy, Danielle Phantom, Batman, Batgirl, Bat-Mite, Larry, Jack, Maddie, Jazz, Sam, and Tucker are gathered together to read a story. Post Phantom Planet and post Trigon's defeat.

Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom, The Batman, Batman: The Brave and The Bold, and Teen Titans. I also don't own the Phantom Leader series.

In a dimensional void, 16 flashes of light appear. From these flashes of light appear Danny Phantom, ghost boy hero of the Earth, Robin the Boy Wonder and leader of the Teen Titans, Starfire of Tamaran, Cyborg the tech genius of the Titans, Raven the half-demon sorceress, Beast Boy the changeling and ex member of the Doom Patrol, Danielle Phantom, Danny's clone/daughter/cousin, Batman (The Dark Knight of Gotham, the Caped Crusader and the older half of the Dynamic Duo), Batgirl, Bat-Mite of the Fifth Dimension, Larry of the Fifth Dimension, Jack Fenton, Maddie Fenton, Jazz Fenton, Sam Manson, and Tucker Foley.

"Where are we?" Beast Boy asks. "I don't know. This isn't like when the Game Master pulled us all into another dimension for his game." Cyborg says in confusion. "Welcome everyone!" A voice says. "Who are you?" "Are you from the Fifth Dimension?" Bat-Mite and Larry ask at the same time. A flash of light blinds everyone before dying down to reveal a 25-year-old man with a beard/mustache combo with sideburns and wearing Terminator style sunglasses.

"My name is Scheffinator and you might say that I'm a minor god that governs over a part of the multiverse. Most of you were brought here to read about an alternate version of some of you written by another minor god (hope you don't mind if I called you a minor god TWT) named TheWhiteTitan or TWT for short. The others are here just to see what would happen if a certain ghostly Master of Time didn't cheat." The man says while giving a knowing smirk at the end. "Enjoy." He says before disappearing in a flash of light before fading while revealing a book.

Jazz is the first to reach the book. "Who wants to read first?" She asks while holding the book up. The book is encased in a black aura before it floats over to Raven.

"Prologue: Why did it happen…?"

Danny's POV

Why? Why did it happen? Why couldn't he save them? Why did He have to kill them?...

If only I was fast enough. If only I was strong enough, I would have saved them. I would have fixed my mistake. But no. I was weak, foolish and stupid. I was supposed to be the hero. I was supposed to save lives. To save the people I care about. But I didn't. And now they're gone. I could still see the look on their faces. They weren't angry at me. They were proud that I did the best I could. My funny, caring, slightly obsessed parents. My smart, overprotective sister. My teacher who was the only one who cared about my future. My meat-eating, tech-loving friend and my gothic, supportive friend. The only people who cared for me, who loved me, who protected me… and I failed them.

"Ouch. That has to hurt." Batgirl says with a wince as she imagines her father in such a position and she was powerless to save him. Jazz hugs Danny in comfort with Dana (Danielle/Dani) doing the same.

I could still remember the flames that were wrapped around my body, and after that, nothing but the welcoming darkness that protected me from the cruel world known as reality…

Bruce's POV

I couldn't believe what I just saw. A fourteen-year-old kid with black hair and blue eyes just witnessed his family and friends explode in front of his eyes. What made it more unbelievable is that a ghost did it. Sure, I've seen some crazy stuff, being the Batman and all that, but to see a kid experience that was too much.

"Dude! Bruce Wayne is Batman?!" Beast Boy says in shock only to receive a whack to the back of the head by the Boy Wonder and the infamous Bat-Glare from the Dark Knight.

The reason I went to Amity Park was because the local Ghost Hunters, Jack and Maddie Fenton, impressed me and I wanted to make a deal with them to sell some of their inventions. I called them a week ago and they happily agreed. Me and the Fentons go way back in college. We planned that miniature Ghost Portal together, along with a fellow student named Vlad Masters, someone I never really liked. But when we were about to build it, I was needed to inherit Wayne Enterprises, my family's business. So, I didn't get to see if our project worked. I haven't heard from them until they invited me to their wedding. I was shocked to hear about the accident that gave Vlad his Ecto-acne, but I found it unreasonable to blame Jack for it. We kept in touch after that, they even asked me to be their kids' godfather, to which I happily agreed.

"Do we really have godparents?" Jazz asked towards Jack and Maddie getting nods in return. "Should anything happen to your father and I, you will first live with your aunt Alicia, then you will live with your godparents should something happen to Alicia." Maddie explains.

Poor kid. Here he was, lying unconscious on a hospital bed. I managed to call an ambulance and they immediately came and took him. That shouldn't have happened to him. The entire reason I became the atman was to prevent anything like this from happening.

"True." Batman says with a nod.

He began to stir, then he opened his eyes. He sat upright and looked around his surroundings, not knowing I was there.

"Hello, Danny," I said gently. He looked at me, surprised to see someone he never met before. "My name is Bruce Wayne. Did you remember what happened a moment ago…?" I asked hesitantly.

His eyes were suddenly filled with tears. He then cried on his arms. I put a comforting hand on his shoulder, trying to cheer him up.

"It's alright, son," I said, looking at him. He reminded me of the day I lost my parents. Hopelessness and grief were the only things I ever thought of. I shouldn't let him suffer like that.

So, I decided to adopt him.

"Well, that was certainly something." Tucker says while Sam just nods in agreement.

Whelp, there's the first chapter. Also, I want to hear from you, the readers, on if I should add Vlad and Slade to the group only to be tormented or not. Also, should I add Blackfire, Scorn and Valerie/Red Huntress too or not. Let me know!
