If you told Larxene a week ago she'd be fighting a bunch of monkeys led by an monkey man while fighting alongside a duck, a redhead, and two strangers who look like action movie characters she would have certainly tossed a knife directly at your cranium. Yet whether it be her own less than impressive choices or how Xemnas always droned on and on about destiny she had come upon this wacky scenario. With Kairi behind her acting as support the nobody stood her ground defending against the barrage of primates finding she quite enjoyed the chance to just go primal so to speak and wail on some bad guys. "Bet ya never got to do this back home." She laughed after decapitating one of the Wild Monkeys.
Kairi meanwhile managed to freeze one that came near her before bashing it with her Rod now for once glad it was insisted by the two, she was currently searching for that she at least practice some fighting basics during their youth. Personally, she was confused by her new friend's thrill of fighting, yes Sora and Riku enjoyed friendly sparring, but Larxene seemed to actively enjoy when her enemies were trying to kill her. "How can you enjoy this?" She curiously questioned.
"What can I say, nothing like the thrill of battle to get the blood pumping." Bringing her arms to the floor for a handstand Larxene allowed them to carry her weight as she sent her legs out kicking two of them right in the head which Scrooge capitalized on by bouncing off of them using his cane like a pogo stick much to her amazement. "(That old fart can really move.)" She thought to herself.
Meanwhile Kim Possible was trying to make her way to the center where Monkey Fist was her agility proving invaluable. Taking a moment to focus on Ron she was glad to see him holding his own using his mystical monkey powers against these black creatures. Ever since their Highschool Graduation he had rarely required any protection or worry on her part against foes, and so that allowed her the chance to focus on the real threat. Yet that was easier said than done as the numbers of these monkeys made it difficult to find a proper path forward, until as she went to kick at another one a knife came flying eliminating it and soon that blond girl she noticed earlier joined her. "Thanks for the assist, although who are you and why are you after Monkey Fist?" She couldn't help but question this stranger.
"Larxene, as for the why it's a long story so we'll talk later." Figuring this girl was at least an ally Kim decided to roll with it as they tried to make a path through the heartless and to their Leader. Funnily enough the two worked well together as Kim's agility from cheer leading along with Larxene's natural speed and flexibility allowed them to work on an even ground.
Meanwhile Kairi who was slowly being surrounded by the monkeys soon found an ally in the blond boy who delivered a flash kick to one sending it right into two more. "I am no longer in fear of the monkey, now I fight its tyranny!" The boy determinedly yelled pointing at the yellow-eyed menaces. He then turned to the red head flashing an easy-going smile. "Ron Stoppable savior of the World and part of Team Possible." He introduced.
With a friendly smile Kairi reciprocated. "I'm Kairi magic user and part of I guess um... Team Keyblade Warriors." She struggled to think of a name and planned to reevaluate it later.
The next thing she knew he brought a handout now showing off a strange pink animal. "And this here is Rufus the greatest naked mole-rat on this planet." The mole-rat struck a pose before doing a cool dance.
Looking at the creature although it wasn't the normal standard of cute the teen could recognize its inner beauty and sensing no danger gave Rufus a gentle pet. "Cute little guy." She complimented earning a momentary surprised look from the boy before he smiled once again now more excitedly. Unfortunately, there was no more time to chat as the heartless swarmed them once again and the three now backed up by Scrooge went on the offensive.
Back with the two acrobats soon they had made their way through the Wild Monkeys and prepared to corner Monkey Fist who had nowhere to go. "How about we find you a nice cell this time to lock you in." The orange haired girl taunted as the monkey man took his stance.
"Do not presume that I am cornered Kim Possible." They both figured he meant his army, but then the entire ground heard the sound of a window breaking and suddenly what looked to be a ticking golf ball landed in between them. Recognizing what it was the former cheer leader dove towards Larxene getting out of the way.
BOOM
Now separated from Monkey Fist the two saw what looked to be a hover car come down carrying three people. "Oh, and here I'd hoped to at least catch em by surprise." A man in what looked like a skirt grumbled but with a similar accent to Scrooge, with him was a strange blue man with a scar and a woman who was a bit green in the gills so to speak.
Hearing a groan from the woman Larxene guessed she knew these three as well. "Oh great as if I needed this along with College Mid-terms." She complained as Monkey Fist hopped on the hover car.
The blue man with an evil grin bringing the vehicle up looked down at them all. "Consider today merely the beginning of evils rise as together for the first time ever history's greatest villains have elected to join forces. Not even you Kim Possible can hope to stand a chance against the might of the Triple Triad! Bwahahahahaha!"
The man laughed until a voice interrupted him. "That name's copyrighted remember, a pretty famous card game has already trademarked Triple Triad." The raven-haired woman corrected earning a frustrated grumble.
"Shego, can't you see I'm trying to instill fear in them?!" The man whined. "Besides, once I Doctor Drakken have taken over the World no copyright law in the Universe shall stop me!" He declared with a furious fist.
And then again, he was interrupted. "You, I think ya mean we."
Before the two could butt heads Ron then joined in on the interruptions. "First time, you sure about that cause I could have sworn it's been done before, but I can't remember when." The boy stated getting the oddest sense of deja vu which was then reciprocated by everyone else aside from the three newcomers to this apparently long-standing conflict.
Eventually the blue man shook his head dismissing the strange feeling deciding enough was enough and hopped back in the driver seat. "Farewell losers, when we meet again, I will have found the heart of this World and made it my- I mean our own!" He shouted as the four flew off with the remaining few heartless then vanishing.
With that done Larxene decided it was time for answers, but more importantly she looked up at her savior. "Could ya get off, you're not exactly light down here." After Kim moved the blond could finally get back up and stretched her limbs. "Well that was a bust, who were those guys anyway?" She asked currently confused about everything that was happening.
Thankfully her new ally was quick to explain. "Those were a few of my main enemies. The blue one is Drakken a pretty lame self-proclaimed genius scientist all things considered but can at times come up with a decent scheme with his hired help turned girlfriend being Shego the one that shoots green fire. The man in the kilt is Duff Killigan a Scottish golfer who turned to crime after being banned from the sport, and finally Monkey Fist a guy who's way too obsessed with them if you couldn't tell."
At that Scrooge seemed to get a bit hot-tempered. "That Duff is nothin but a disgrace to every honorable Scotsman everywhere." Obviously, he wasn't a fan of the villainous golfer.
The college student then put a hand to her chin in thought. "But it's strange, I never would have seen all four of them working together especially as Monkey Fist was irreversibly turned to stone, or so I thought."
At that Kairi spoke up. "He mentioned it was thanks to a benefactor he was freed, and my bets are Maleficent was behind it." To which the duck and blond had to agree while the other three just looked in confusion.
Realizing there would need to be a lot of explaining Larxene decided it would be best to head somewhere else especially as she was feeling quite hungry. "We can explain everything, but first you know any good joints around here I'm starved?" She questioned and at that Ron immediately beamed apparently having the perfect idea of where to go.
With his hood up the man known as Xemnas watched the ocean tides enjoying the sounds of the waves in what was a new part added to the Realm of Darkness. With Destiny Islands thrown into the abyss now it sat here in the cool night breeze serving a strange sort of comfort for the nobody who felt an all to familiar sense from this ocean. Soon he was joined by another robed man who stood beside him the two almost silently communicating as they were once a singular individual. "Things have been spiraling far beyond what I had anticipated." Ansem finally spoke breaking the silence.
Xemnas wasn't surprised with what he had been informed of no doubt all these changes happening would drastically alter any semblance of the original plan his heartless possessed. "My Organization has heard news that a Keyblade Wielder has been found, I summarize he has awakened it early?" The nobody questioned.
Ansem seemed to ponder this for a moment before answering. "Yes and so much more. It seems that boy Sora was in fact a fabled Keyblade Wielder and awakened it during this Island's demise, but something else had happened. Somehow another Wielder I had not anticipated arrived perhaps guided by the Keyblade to save The Princess, now she is with that other one attempting to take down Maleficent as well as Sora who goes about on his own journey." The man then looked towards his other half with a piercing golden gaze. "At first I had not recognized the second one, but now after some time to watch her I've realized something, she was one of the ones Xehanort had chosen to join his ranks so many years ago before our separation."
Leave it to his other half to have the memory of an elephant, it was no wonder now that the heartless starring him down looked furious. Xemnas wondered if he still bore a heart would it have felt the slightest twinge of fear, but as of now that mattered not. "Yes, she is one of my Organization Members. The girl only a single week ago had somehow managed to unlock what we had speculated Numbers IX through XII had in fact held inside, it is a phenomenon to be sure. Two days ago, she went missing which is when i presume you chose to drown this land in darkness, until now I have not heard a single word about her." The nobody lied with ease, the truth was Saix had informed him of his conversation with Axel and had known his Keyblade Wielder was currently running around The Universe doing his dirty work for him.
Ansem seemed unsure whether to fully believe him, but after a few moments he turned his head. "Due to this I've chosen to take a more crucial role in the plan. I've convinced Riku to actively ally with myself to help accelerate his physical development and if he bears the gift as well unlock the power of the Keyblade and become my perfect vessel. The only reason I do not destroy your pawn is because currently she is proving a useful distraction to the witch so I am more able to influence the boy and may encourage her to hasten the search for the Princesses, but should she prove a liability then I shall dispose of her." The threat left hanging.
For a few more minutes to two sat in a tense silence before Xemnas chose to get up. "I must be off before the anyone in the Organization begins to notice my absence. I wish you only the best so that our goal can succeed." The words bearing no truth at all proving that sometimes one's greatest enemy can be themselves.
With an intrigued gaze Larxene watched as Ron Stoppable showed her and Kairi his greatest invention. "So let me get this straight, it's nachos and a taco?" The blond female questioned eyeing the concoction with fascination while the red head simply looked at the messy creation dripping cheese by the mother lode with disgust reminding the older green-eyed superhero when she first saw it. Scrooge could not comment as he had chosen to head back to the Gummi Ship and count his money
"You got it, invented The Naco myself and since then it's practically become a staple of Bueno Nachos around the World. Of course, your ole buddy Ron is here to hook you up with the original and best version, not enough of everything in the ones you can just buy. Here try it out." He handed one to The Savage Key who eyed it critically before taking a bite.
She had to admit it was delectable, of course compared to what she had eaten the past few months since joining the Organization most basic foods would be better since Xemnas only allowed the blandest healthy foods in the Castle. Not a day went by she failed to curse her Leader for his horrible choices just cause he wanted to make sure they didn't get fat. Still even when thinking about all she had as a somebody this was certainly up there on the totem pole as she practically vacuumed the large Naco. "Yum!" She said patting her stomach in satisfaction before letting out a burp.
Kairi just sighed at the gross display. "Have you even heard of manners?" She questioned earning an eye roll from the nobody.
"Too many if you ask me, but I elect to ignore them just like you should Princess." Larxene joked patting the red heads back just as she finished her own meal causing the younger of the two to let out a much smaller one. Now blushing from embarrassment that made her cheeks as red as her face the much cruder of the two laughed. "Now that's the spirit."
After finishing their meal, the two explained why they were here and who most likely was these villain's benefactor. "She's called Maleficent an evil witch bent on Universal domination by using her heartless to devour Worlds. No doubt she's trying to use your foes to do this, but what I don't get is why steal a map."
At that Kim seemed to get an idea and reached into her pocket pulling out a device and pressing a button. "Hey Wade, you wouldn't happen to know anything about what Monkey Fist stole from the museum would you?"
Looking at the screen they saw a man typing on his computer. "I might be able to hack into the cameras and get a view of what was stolen. Give me a few seconds and... Done!" Now on it was a picture of the map, only instead of what anyone expected like a world map instead it was more like a treasure map containing many strange letters, numbers, and even a large X in the center. "From what I'm looking up it seems this map was made approximately two-hundred years ago."
Hearing that Larxene questioned. "So what makes this special, just seems like something you'd see from a pirate themed show."
After a bit more typing Wade found the answer. "This was made by a famous explorer and philosopher here back before the town was even called Middleton. He claimed to have found the heart of the World and made this map as a test to see if anyone was smart enough to find it as well, to this day no one has managed to solve it."
Ron at that moment visibly relaxed. "Problem solved then, if no one can figure it out then I'd say we're free to chill." Larxene was liable to agree if it meant not having to go to trouble of searching for this Keyhole, she had hoped they'd all just be easy like Traverse Town, but clearly that was a fluke.
Kim for a second considered this as she did have a major test coming up, but she also knew it was entirely possible these four could eventually figure things out. Kairi meanwhile remembering the benefit of finding it themselves interjected. "But we still need to figure out where it is so the heartless can be sent away."
Wade as this was happening continued typing on his computer. "Well then give me an afternoon and I'll solve this little puzzle. Doubt the inventor considered just how technology could be used to bypass his riddles." He said confidently before hanging up.
Now with nothing to do Larxene decided to ask a question that had been on her mind for a while. "Nice moves back there at the museum, I thought I was agile but you're even better. What's your secret?" Considering her agility and speed were perhaps the two biggest assets in her arsenal a chance to improve them was certainly in her best interest, who knows maybe this could even help with getting out of the Organization's grasp someday.
Surprised by this nevertheless Kim was happy for the compliment. "I trained a lot since I was a kid to be as flexible as possible, it was the only way I could fulfill my dream." The nobody assumed the orange haired female meant her job of stopping bad guys which was incorrect as she would soon learn.
Knowing they probably had some time before needing to jump into action Larxene decided to venture another question. "Mind showing me how to do it?"
Momentarily taken back at the request the girl mulled it over in her head for a few minutes before figuring it couldn't hurt. "Sure why not, I don't have anything else to do today so it might be fun. What about you Kairi, wanna join in?"
Seeing the advantages that could come from learning to be a bit lighter on her feet even if she wasn't be performing flips and handstands any time soon the girl nodded. "You bet, I was always teased for being the clumsiest by my friends, so it'd be nice to knock them down a peg or two." With a goal in mind the group headed off to practice.
Somewhere else on the World the four villains were attempting to solve the map only to find a major roadblock in front of them. "Agh! Nothing about this map makes any sense!" The blue scientist complained looking over every bit of the puzzle attempting and failing to get a grasp on its contents.
Shego currently reading a magazine in disinterest simply flipped her page. "Have you tried looking it up online?" Her deadpan tone making it hard to tell if it was sarcasm.
In response Drakken barked back, "Yes I did but there was nothing of use... Wait you were being sarcastic, weren't you?" He asked realizing it might have been her just being smart with him only to receive a smirk in response before smiling back at his girlfriend. The man then directed his attention to Monkey Fist who was simply sitting about meditating. "What's even the point of this? How will finding this heart of the World help us when we already have an army at our beck and call?" He groaned having been roped into this by the monkey man upon being greeted by the heartless as otherwise he would be exterminated, and what could he say one more shot at villainy did sound fun.
Taking a sip of his warm tea he replied, "As I mentioned before Drakken we can have all the heartless we desire but they will become useless should Maleficent take them back or the Keyblade Master finds the Keyhole first." His tone a bit bitter since he may owe the witch a debt but essentially working under her was not something he enjoyed.
Duff being the gruff alpha man himself brought up an idea. "Well then perhaps we could come up with a plan to take down this Maleficent you mentioned, I mean against the four of us can she really pose that much trouble?" He questioned.
Earning a glare, the martial artist shot that down. "Impossible, I have seen her skill and magic for myself, it is far too powerful to defeat even working together."
Suddenly the four felt a chill even Shego who had green fire at her disposal and saw a rush of darkness enter the room as speak of the devil she had arrived. "Very well put, it would be foolish to defy me after all the help I have given and even now will continue to."
They then noticed another woman behind her but only Shego recognized her and resisted summoning her flames. "Electronique." She growled still angry over their last encounter as the female scientist entered her body brimming with blue electricity.
Of course, the sidekick did have a perfectly good reason for this as the two had battled multiple times over the years, but it seemed she had expected that and was quick to try and cool any tension. "Shego, I am willing to let bygones be bygones for the sake of revenge against our mutual enemies and global conquest. I only desire Go City and nothing else, so after this little collaboration we will never see each other again." The proposal managing to do its job and the green girl nodded finding these terms were acceptable if it meant beating her nemesis Kim Possible. "Now let me get a look at it, maybe with a competent mind on the job a solution will be found." She said taking the map to examine it herself as the two scientists got to work.
"I feel stupid." Was all Larxene could say as her and Kairi had been decked out in some old cheer-leading uniforms their apparent instructor had kept from her days in High school and Middle school the former fitting the nobody while the latter for the redhead who seemed to be enjoying the outfit.
As if to demonstrate she did a simple twirl now even more excited for the practice. "I don't know, I think these feel nice." She replied then striking a pose making her friend facepalm.
Ignoring the fact that it was actually quite comfortable she replied, "We're warriors Kairi not cheerleaders who try to impress the boys back home."
At that the girl put a finger up to her chin in thought. "Why can't we be both, sides isn't there a boy you'd be willing to impress?" She questioned now finding herself curious at if her new friend had any sort of love interest as the redhead already knew she had the hots for Sora.
Now feeling the briefest flickers of annoyance, she responded, "No way, I'm only interested in myself. Ain't no boy I'd ever go gaga over like some bimbo." Harsh way to put it but it did get her thoughts across.
Before they could continue now in a local gym that was currently almost empty Kim had come back after getting some equipment to help in their learning. Ron meanwhile had to get back to his job, so it was just the three for the afternoon until either Wade called or he got off his shift. "Now let's get started with regular stretching to get the muscles nice and loose." And so they went over the basics with Larxene mostly bored while Kairi who was not nearly as athletic was glad they weren't just diving in and going nuts. After a bit of practice to gauge their skill and once that was done she decided to give each a different thing to do. "For you Kairi I want you to focus on basic exercises and really learning how to bend your legs and body. It kind of uses some principles from Yoga and will help you learn how to better balance yourself at all times." Being given a book showcasing these simple exercises and doing a few demonstrations the redhead went to get to work and learn how to better use her own body.
Turning to Larxene the College student could see she was far more flexible and so decided to focus on more advanced moves that would no doubt really test the girl. Soon the two were doing leaps and tricks a sort of monkey see monkey do as Kim would lead the way and the nobody's job was to follow and try to properly imitate the activities while being coached with tips. "Now what you wanna do is center your body when performing this handstand or else you won't be able to push yourself up enough in the air to do the correct flips." Larxene had to admit if she wanted a major workout then this was it as doing these movements pushed her natural agility to its limits and many times she would end up falling either flat on her backside or face, yet it the more she practiced over the two hours the better she managed. Even Kairi at one point managed to do a simple handstand for a few seconds showing she was learning how to properly balance herself.
By the end both girls were sweating up a storm and Kim had decided to call an end to practice with the the orange and redhead deciding to grab a shower at the back of the gym while Larxene chose to relax a bit before doing so and grab her some much needed water as her throat was as dry as a desert. Finding a water cooler, she grabbed a cup and began filling it up. "A splendid show, although I would have never dreamt of seeing you in that attire even if it does compliment your figure." A familiar voice spoke.
Nodding Larxene licked her lips as the cup filled to its brim. "Yea me neither, but I suppose the benefits outweigh looking ridiculous." She replied before taking a sip... Only to spit it out once she realized who she was talking to. "What are you doing here?!" She questioned Marluxia who stood there with a smirk.
Taking his own cup and grabbing some water the man replied, "Well I had heard you were on a Universe saving adventure and grew curious, it wasn't hard to find you as I simply watched you take off from Traverse Town and had one of my nobodies track your ship." He explained before enjoying his drink and the look of confusion and soon sneer on her face as the implication set in.
"How did you find out?" She nearly growled but already had her suspicions on who was behind this.
The Graceful Assassin hid a villainous smile as he answered. "I had overheard Axel explaining his meeting with you to Saix. I gather you are not happy he chose to tell the second in command of your little escapade?" The tone almost one of mocking as a spark of electricity came from her shorting out a light.
The nobody berated herself for thinking Axel could be trusted, of course the guy would sell her out he was just as heartless as her. "That jerk." Clenching her fist and inadvertently the cup of water which spilled on the floor.
Marluxia glad to see this development decided it would be best to simply let Larxene stew on these thoughts. "I must be going now, Saix will have my head if I am late back from my mission. Try not to get eradicated, it would be a shame to lose such a promising ally." He said before stepping through a dark corridor.
Now alone a seemingly bitter nobody decided she wasn't thirsty anymore and decided to just get a shower left with the knowledge that she had been sold out by someone who had claimed to be trustworthy.
Journal Profiles
Doctor Drakken aka Drew Lipsky: A scientist who for many years had plotted to take over the World, he was Kim Possible's arch-nemesis before reforming. Now he seems to have relapsed and plots once more to take over and establish his empire. The cause of his current blue state is still unknown although it is public knowledge it happened on a tuesday.
Shego: A former sidekick of Drakken who constantly teases and butts' heads with him, yet perhaps by some miracle she found herself falling in love with the man. She gained her unique power to control green fire after her and four brothers were hit with a meteor. For a time she was a superhero that protected Go City from Electronique before turning to evil.
Monkey Fist aka Lord Monty Fiske: A user of the ancient art of Tai Shing Pek Kwar he used both science and magic to turn himself into park monkey possessing the skills and abilities of one. Although he is loathed to admit it Ron Stoppable is considered his arch nemesis as the boy too used the man's very own magic to gain monkey power as well. What could be this Power Primate he has claimed Maleficent will deliver to him?
Duff Killigan: Self-proclaimed World's Deadlist Golfer the man lives up to that idea with use of his exploding golf balls and combat skills with a club. He now often works as a mercenary for the highest bidder being promised vast fortunes for his help in taking over the World.
Electronique: Former enemy of Shego she has battled against Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable who thwarted her plans to turn Team Go evil and temporarily turned her good using her own device The Attitudinator. Now she is back to claim vengeance and take over Go City.
Kim Possible: A College Student who began her superhero career when accidentally being enlisted to save a rich millionaire from being fried by his own lasers. Since then she has saved the World on multiple occasions and even from an alien invasion while having managed to both cheer lead and graduate high school. Although she had not considered the idea for years eventually her and Ron being longtime friends since Preschool became an official couple and see no signs of stopping now.
Ron Stoppable: A man afraid of many things even with that he has managed to become a valuable member of Team Possible and help save the World even defeating an alien dictator in single combat using his mystical monkey power and training. Nowadays he still works his job at Smarty Mart and is secretly saving up money for a wedding ring hoping to propose to his girlfriend in the next year or two.
Wade: Super genius Wade is the main communications expert and inventor of Kim's gadgets such as her Kimmunicator, a grappling hook which resembles a hairdryer, and laser lipstick. It is unknown how he came into contact with Kim and Ron as it wasn't until after years of knowing each other he physically met them, but whatever the case the three have established a tight friendship.
Rufus: A naked mole rat Ron adopted from Smarty Mart due to his father being allergic to every kind of fur. This mole rat for being so small has been a vital part of Team Possible's success over the years and is Ron's best friend who always has his back.
