Avatar Aang Memorial Island

A young woman stood atop the roof of the building. Looking out at the steampunk city in front of her. She had brown skin, blue eyes and chestnut brown hair that was in a ponytail and two bangs. She also had a series of red scars on her arms, partly hidden by a pair of blue armbands. She wore a light blue sleeveless top, a pair of blue trousers, a pair of brown snowshoes and a brown and blue skirt. Her hair flapped wildly in the light breeze. Then, there was a sound and she moved her eye before whipping around in a battle-ready stance. It was just a bird. She relaxed. Then suddenly the clock struck midnight and the bell within it chimed, startling her. She sighed and sat down. Thirty minutes later she stretched. "Hm, guess you're a no shown Amon, who's scared now," she said to herself. She stood up and jumped down to the bottom level with her fire bending. As she walked past the open door that led into the museum an object whizzed out of nowhere and bound itself around her feet, tripping her up. Falling over she realised; they were here the whole time.

She was then pulled into the darkness of the museum. She then used her Fire Bending to escape the bindings, illuminating the room to reveal about twenty masked men surrounding her. Chi Blockers. She began to Fire Bend to try and get them away but her arms were bound in place and three of the men used a series of fast punches to knock her down and out. She was then forced awake and up as a hooded figure approached her. "I received your invitation young Avatar," Amon said coolly. He reached out and grabbed her by the chin. "Our showdown, while inevitable, is premature. Though it would be the simplest thing of me to take your Bending away right now, I won't!" Korra's eyes widened. "You'd only become a martyr; Benders of all Nations would rally behind your "Untimely" demise. But, I assure you, I have a plan and I am saving you for last. Then you'll get your duel and I will destroy you!" He then knocked her with a quick jab.

Then, there was a sound nobody expected to hear; clapping. It was very audible, but because it was so dark, he and his men could not see who was there. "Very good, very good," a voice began. Someone else was here. Had they been here the whole time as well. "Classic Villain monologue, you just love to hear it."

"You dare to speak ill of our great leader," one of the Chi Blockers yelled in anger.

"Oh I dare alright," the voice replied. There was movement above them. Running, fast pace. Stops every few seconds. Sometimes a loud thud. "Now, what's going on here. And not just this building, but this entire world?" That was odd, we're they getting trolled by some teenager, or…a spirit? "I've seen you before Amon, on those posters in the park. Gaia almighty, you might have many complexes. A saviour complex, a superiority complex, an ego that's bigger than Egghead's, and that's saying something. Oh and let's all not forget the god complex." That dropped like a piece of China.

"HOW DARE YOU!" yelled a Chi Blocker.

"I was at your "revaluation" as well, piqued my interest a little. It was there I found out what this "Bending" is. Elemental Powers, which you use Martial Arts moves to bend like your respective element is an extension of your body. That would be crazy if any of my friends and foes could do that; Knuckles, Blaze, Espio, Rouge, Sally, Cream, Vanilla, Zavok; Man would that be an even bigger challenge to beat him, my dad's best friend, a certified genius and one of the strongest Zeti in the world with the added bonus of controlling Fire in ways that would make my Ex narrow her eyes in envy. And you take it away from a bunch of mobsters. I will admit, that was a good thing, but the other Earth Bender there looked very scared, maybe he wasn't actually part of the triad, just a thought. But, backup a bit, because the entire thing was less of a "Political Rally" and more like a CULT!"

Amon clenched his hands. "Come out and face me then, like a man, or are you just a coward like Tarrlok and his council stouches?" There was no reply. "I thought so." He immediately regretted those words as one of the Chi Blockers went flying. The room began to whirl and wind pick up. An Air Bender?! Then a blur shot by, knocking down, kicking, punching; every Chi Blocker was down. And there, standing in front of Korra's fallen and unconscious form like a bodyguard was a boy her age. He looked slightly Water Tribe, but also Air Nomad, with a peach skin tone that was hued darker in areas like sunburns. His eyes were a dazzling emerald green while his hair was brown but had been mostly dyed an ocean blue. His left cheek had a few scars on it.

His attire consisted of a light blue shirt, a red and white hoodie that was currently tied around his waist, a pair of green and yellow shorts and finally a pair of red, white and yellow trainers. He also had a red, slightly ragged and torn neckerchief around his neck, a small brown satchel to his side and what appeared to be white bandages covering his forearms and shins. He stood definitely before Amon, his face in a smirk. One eye partially closed and his arms to his sides.

"Who are you," asked Amon.

"Hm, I'm Sonic, the fastest thing alive, Sonic began, Guardian of the Chaos Emeralds and Hero of Mobius. Oh and I do hope there's a hospital nearby, you're going to need it!" He then dropped into a stance. He crouched down one arm flat on the ground, the other straight at an angle behind him. One leg in front of the other. He looked up. Amon got into a stance as well. He made the unfortunate mistake of attacking first. He went straight at him, ready to deliver a barrage of Pressure Point jabs, but as he sent his hand forward in a jabbing motion, Sonic dodged it, adjusting his body. Amon then registered a kick to the face as Sonic spun around on his hand like a breakdance move and kicked him square in the face, knocking him off balance. The manoeuvre was followed by a quick succession of light punches to his cheeks. Amon staggered back.

This fighter was unlike any he had ever seen before. It was like he moved with all four elements and their styles, without Bending even a bit of it. "Impressive, most impressive," he complimented him.

"Thanks, I guess," said Sonic. He then charged at him, leaping overhead and spinning into Amon like a ball, catching him completely off guard.

"Enough of this," Amon said. He threw down a small object which exploded into smoke. When it cleared, he and his unconscious cronies were gone. Sonic snorted and then ran over to where Korra lay.

"Hey, Avatar, wake up," he said. He began to nudge her. He was a little worried but then her eyes began to flutter open. "Aang," she murmured.

"Ssh, it's okay, they're gone, Sonic said, I may have struck a few nerves and made a new enemy." Korra opened her eyes fully and looked at him. "You okay?"

"I guess," she replied. She raised her palm and a small orange flame burst. It then went out as Korra grabbed Sonic and began to cry. "I was so terrified, I felt so, helpless." Sonic put his arms around her.

"It's going to be okay, he's gone," said Sonic. He felt very sympathetic to her; he was like this when he first faced *him* but he got through it and now was going to try and help her.

"Tenzin was right, I've been scared this whole time, I've never felt like this before and, I don't know what to do," Korra continued.

"Admitting your fears is the first step you must take in overcoming them, it's going to be okay, Korra."

"Who are you and how do you know my name," she asked.

"I'm Sonic and, I've been watching you for a while now, ever since the revaluation. I was there as well, it was pretty much a cult meeting. I felt that you might need help."

"Why?"

"Because, it's complicated but let's just say I'm an expert in taking on people like Amon," Sonic said.

"You're a vigilante," asked Korra as he helped her up.

"More of a freedom fighter," he replied.

"KORRA," came a voice. They turned to see Tenzin running over. "Thank goodness you are alright. Was Amon here?"

"Yeah, he ambushed me," Korra said. She put her hand to her temple.

"Did he take your bending away?"

"No, he threatened me and then knocked me out…," she began.

"And then I stepped in and gave him a proper workout," Sonic finished.

"And you are," asked Tenzin.

"Sonic, I'm kinda a big deal where I'm from. After Korra was knocked out, I stepped in, taking down all of Amon's men and then giving him a fight he'll never forget," he explained. "In short, I technically helped her."

"Thank you then, said Tenzin, come on Korra, we will go back home. And, Sonic was it? You may stay with us if that's what you were implying."

"Thank you, that would be most generous of you," Sonic replied. He bowed.
