Two Days Later

Your sunny disposition was the exact punishment Bobby needed after being so careless. He was running on coffee and fumes, meanwhile, you made sure to get a decent night's rest as often as possible without jeopardizing the case. He was snappy, but knowing he was in the wrong made every outburst worth it. You and Bela were focused trying to convene with the other side when the boys called. Bobby answered, "Strip club was a bust, huh? That was our last lead...Don't yell at me, boy. I'm working my ass off here." He turned on speaker, keeping Dean more accountable. "Sorry. I'm sorry. I'm just-I'm-I'm tired."

"Well, who ain't?" You raised your hand proudly, Bela snickering at the sass. Laugh all you want bitch, karma's still coming. "What do the girls' got?" He looked to you. You wished you could give more than a head shake, but Bella was in charge in this department. "Sorry, sometimes the spirit world's in a chatty mood, and sometimes it isn't."

"Great! Well, I'm just gonna go blow my brains out now!" I think you blew out the speaker instead. Cranky pants. Bobby shut the phone and turned to you and Bela. "Let me ask you something. What are you doing helping us?"

"Bobby, I'm surprised you don't remember. Flagstaff?" You gauged his reaction carefully, trying to determine if Bela really was just trying to pull one over on you. "Oh. Yeah. Right. Flagstaff." 50/50. Something definitely happened in Flagstaff, but then why wouldn't Bobby have mentioned it?

After three days of intense research, you got the call that Dean and Bobby were in the clear. I can't be here when Bela figures it out... Seeing as you were the only one that could safely be behind the wheel, you were burdened with the food run. And a good excuse for my absence. Bitch is gonna get it.

After about an hour, you pulled in and noticed Bobby's car parked in your spot. Guess he and Sam finished packing up the hospital room. You caught up with them at the end of the hallway, walking in to find Dean flipping his phone shut.

"Hey, you guys seen Bela? She's not in her room. She's not answering her phone." You made a B-line to your duffel bag. "Well, my bras are all in tact. She must have taken off."

"Just like that? That's a little weird."

Bobby interrupted, "Well, if you ask me what's weird, it's why she helped us in the first place." You snapped your head in his direction, Dean voicing his concern, "I thought you saved her life."

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"The thing in Flagstaff."

"That thing in Flagstaff was an amulet. I gave her a good deal. That's all." The room went silent before Sam interjected, "Well, then, why did-"

"You boys better check your pockets." You knew immediately, turning towards the safe. Dean rushed in that direction, "No, no, no, no, no, no."

"The Colt. Bela stole the Colt." Sam bitched. Bobby's face went red, "Damn it, boys!" Dean went calm as he walked to his duffel, "Pack your crap."

"Why? Where are we going?"

"We're gonna go hunt the bitch down."

The boys left to pack the car and you stayed to help Bobby clean up. The conversation you had planned in your head was for naught, as Bobby immediately knew you had to go with the boys to find Bela. It was expected now. You smiled and threw him your keys.

The sun was bright outside when you noticed both boys in the Impala. They were definitely in the middle of one of their melodramas, so you kept your distance until it was safe to enter. Dean looked extremely unsettled. After witnessing a smile from Sam, you made your move to lighten the mood. The door creaked when you opened the back seat and made yourself comfortable. "What's going on in here?" Sam smiled and answered, "Just talking strategy. Bela sure as hell isn't gonna get away with it." You thought to yourself and chuckled. "Well, if it's any consolation, she made have gotten the Colt, but she's also gonna have a bad case of hives...I may or may not have dipped her planchette in some poison oak leaves." Two heads turned to the back seat wearing equally amused grins. Dean snapped out of his funk, "Well, I sure as hell feel a lot better knowing that Beatrix Kiddo's in our corner."
