It's not that simple to know you can have a dragon for a friend. Just recently, my mother died of cancer and I miss her already. Then my father handed me something that was once hers, a sword. He said, "Mother would want you to have this Cindy, that way she'll always be close to you." I then began to feel sad and hugged my father. He said, "I missed her too sweetie. You know exploring the backyard will help you."
I sighed and said, "Thanks Dad, I'll give it a go." I then outside. I hope that there is something fun out there waiting for me. I'll never forget the stories my mom used to tell me.
She used to tell me stories about a world of medieval times where there are knights and dragons. At first I didn't believe it, but my mom said, "Just because they used to be stories doesn't mean that they can be real anywhere." I took her word for it. Sure I did. I will always remember what she used to say. That's what I'll do.
As I walked, I noticed my mother's sword starting to glow. I took a good look at it and got confused. What is going on? Before I know what is going on, a swirl or red and yellow and green surrounded me and circled me!
I felt like I was spinning. This is like a wild ride to me. Then I landed with a thud. I groaned and looked at myself, I look like I am dressed in knight clothes. I look like a female knight for all I know.
I have a look around. I saw castle walls. I have a feeling that I'm not at home anymore. I must be in a castle of some kind.
