Paige looked puzzled as she looked at the time when her phone rang with Ralph's face coming up. "Hey sweetheart, it is a little late, did Sara not show up to pick you guys up?" Paige said as she answered her cell phone.

"Oh, no I didn't know that or we could have gotten you a gift for his birthday. He doesn't want a gift, I see. A sleep over huh? Well let me speak to Sara real quick." Paige told Ralph.

Walter looked over a bit puzzled.

"Sara's son's birthday is today and he wants Ralph to sleep over." Paige told him seeing the expression on his face.

Walter nodded and then smiled as it meant they'd have the night to themselves.

Walter got up and walked over to where Happy was working on a project.

"Why don't you guys go ahead and call it day? And take the weekend off too, unless there is an emergency of course." Walter told her quietly.

Happy looked up a bit puzzled.

Walter glanced over at Paige on her cell phone.

Happy grinned seeing his expression.

"Gotcha buddy." Happy grinned at him.

"Hey Fungus, Sly, come on. The weekend is starting a little early." Happy said as she raised her voice.

"Have a great night and weekend Walt." Happy winked at him.

Walter smiled and nodded. He followed them to the door. He closed the door behind them and then locked it. He took a moment to slide the dead bolt over ensuring no one was entering through the door. He stepped over to the alarm and activated it before he returned to his desk to finish some paperwork.

Just as he reached his desk he thought for a moment and pulled his cell phone out and sent a message to Cabe.

"Cabe, we've shut down for the weekend. We'll see you Monday barring an emergency." Walter smiled as he put his phone on vibrate and set it aside. He bent over his desk and grabbed the papers before he began sorting them.

Paige hung up and looked over at Walter.

"Okay, Sara confirmed it was really a last minute plan as her son hadn't wanted a party or anything and then decided to have a small sleep over with Ralph and a couple of other kids from their class." Paige told him.

Walter looked over and smiled as he nodded.

"I shouldn't be too long here, if you want we can go grab an early dinner or catch a movie or something." Walter told her.

Paige grinned.

"That sounds like a nice idea. I'm going to put on some music while I finish up the Homeland report for what happened on the subway the other day." Paige told him.

Walter nodded before he turned back to the papers.

Paige pulled the small radio out of her desk and turned it on and then had to adjust the tuner for her favorite radio station. She smiled as the end of Roberta Flack's "Killing Me Softly" was playing.

She smiled seeing Walter move just a bit in time with the song. She turned back to her laptop and began typing.

The song ended and was immediately followed by "Alone In The Dark" sung by John Hiatt.

Paige's head began bobbing as her shoulders began gyrating and then in her peripheral vision she saw Walter's hips really buck. She looked over and saw his hips beginning to slowly gyrate and she couldn't help grinning.

She stared in amazement as Walter's hands rose up and quickly pulled his tie off and tossed it casually back towards her desk in time with the music. Paige's eyes went wide as she watched with rapt attention as Walter's hands seemed to be moving back down his shirt unbuttoning the buttons as they went. And as his hands reached his belt he slowly tugged on the shirt, gyrating his hips even more, until the front of the shirt came up out of his pants and his fingers continued to unbutton his shirt.

As the song came to the chorus Walter spun around twice before he stopped facing her and his hands quickly yanked his shirt wide open and Paige's grinned stretched across her face. And her eyes got wider as Walter's hips were swaying even more before they began popping forward on the forth beat of the song.

Walter's eyes were closed as he grooved to the song. He seemed to be completely mesmerized by the song and continued his sensual strutting dance.

Paige nearly fell out of her chair as he pulled his shirt off completely and flung it towards her. She stared completely shocked as his hands went back and braced against the desk and he quickly kicked off a shoe and then the other.

Walter half turned leaving one hand on the desk as his other hand swooped down even as he raised the opposite foot up and his fingers grabbed the toe of the sock and in a fluid movement whipped it off and threw it behind his desk. He spun around bracing with the left hand as his right hand performed the same action with his left foot.

His hands came together in a loud clap as he spun around to face away from his desk.

Without taking her eyes off of Walter Paige opened her purse and quickly dug her billfold out of it. Her fingers opened it as she watched Walter's hips gyrating as his left hand turned so the back of his fingers could press into this throat and then he slowly dragged them down his chest and across his stomach until they touched his belt.

Paige watched wondering what he was going to do next and his hand turned before his fingers grabbed hold of the belt. Her own fingers pulled the cash she had in her billfold out as she continued to watch.

Walter's right hand repeated the same movement and as his fingers touched his belt his right hand turned over and took hold of his belt on the other side. His hips popped again and then his hand began pushing the belt tail back through the buckle.

As the tail came out of the buckle Walter's hands flew up in the air adopting a modified front double bicep bodybuilder pose. His left arm was stretched outwards to his left, his hand above his head. There was a slight bend in his arm at the elbow. His hand closed with his index finger flexed outwards.

Paige continued to grin, wondering what was next. She was dancing in her chair the whole time with her hand clutching about $170 in various bills. As Walter's right hand turned he brought it down and the back of his fingers pressed into his throat again and he dragged them slowly down his chest. Even as his left hand traveled down to his elbow came back against his side. His left fingers rose up to meet the right side of his jaw under his ear.

His right hand took hold of the belt buckle and he yanked hard and quickly on it. As the belt flew through the belt hoops his left hand pulled slowly along his jaw line. Caressing his flesh slowly in a strange contrast of the rapid movement of his right hand pulling the belt free of his pants just as the spell was broken by the DJ's voice coming over the ending of the music.

"No!" Paige screamed even as she wailed at the breaking of the effect.

Walter's eyes were opened almost in horror.

"Oh my Gawd, Walter, that was wonderful! I know the DJ killed the moment, but you've got to do that again. Please." Paige nearly begged.

Walter hurried over and grabbed his shirt with cheeks blazing red in embarrassment.

Paige frowned watching him struggle to get his shirt back on while shaking his head no.

"Walter, what's wrong? You were so into that, why are you acting embarrassed now? I really loved it." Paige told him trying to show him all the money she'd pulled out of her purse.

Walter was still shaking his head no as he buttoned up his shirt.

"Walter, you were so good at that. I didn't think you enjoyed music that much. But you really got into that song. Please Walter, talk to me." Paige begged as she stood up to move over towards him.

Walter saw her moving and he quickly moved around and sat down in his chair.

Paige was puzzled as Walter sat mute just shaking his head. She slowly sat down in the chair next to his desk.

"Walter, what's wrong? Please, talk to me." Paige pleaded even as her hand reached out and touched the back of his right hand.

Walter couldn't help it as he involuntarily yanked his hand away and then swallowed seeing the hurt on her face and he slowly reached back and took her hand in his.

"I-I'm not really proud of it Paige." Walter told her finally.

"I don't understand Walter. You are really good at it. I didn't think you really knew much about dancing. Why aren't you proud of your ability?" Paige asked softly as she ran her thumb over the back of his hand.

Walter took in a deep breath.

"When I was eighteen, Mother had told Megan they were in a drought. They weren't sure how the crop would do, how the drought would affect the sheep. They weren't sure they'd have enough to pay for her care at the medical facility." Walter told her slowly.

"We was getting by okay, if I cut everything extra out I'd be able to pay our rent, food, utilities and I'd have a couple of hundred left a month to help with her medical costs. But her therapies were costing hundreds each week. The facility was already giving her breaks on the cost as well as getting help from a group that helps with costs for MS patients."

"I didn't want to hack a bank and ruin my chance at becoming a citizen and then one day I'd seen a sign as I took the subway to work. A place was looking for male dancers. Promising good money, paid each night." Walter continued.

Paige smiled.

"Walter, that is so sweet you we're willing to do what you could to help your sister." Paige said as she squeezed his hand.

"I'd mentioned it to a co-worker on our first break. She thought I was crazy. Told me I had no sense of rhythm. So I asked her to help me, that I was desperate. She studied me for a minute before she finally nodded." Walter told her with his eyes closed.

"I didn't want my sister to know, she'd tell our parents and who knows what would have happened then. So I would go over to her place after work. She put together the routine and the songs." Walter explained.

"I must have practiced those routines one hundred times before she finally said I could probably pass the audition. So the next night she went with me so I could audition. The club fortunately had the songs and as it was amateur night I put on my performance." Walter swallowed hard as he remembered that night.

"But all of that work paid off. The women loved my routine. I made almost six hundred dollars that night counting the two hundred the owner paid me for taking third place. She offered me a position dancing part time. She encouraged me to hit the gym and buff up more and she'd get me more time. Get me the better hours to make more money. I was about to accept the offer when my co-worker stepped in and began negotiating with her. By the time she was done I was going to make twenty an hour from the club as long as I promised I wouldn't work anywhere else." Walter told her.

"Couldn't you call your co-worker your friend Walter or at least by name?" Paige asked softly.

Walter nodded.

"Not working anywhere else wasn't a problem, I didn't want to do it there, let alone anywhere else. My co-worker, I mean my friend Keilah took me home and taught me how to give a lap dance. I was never so humiliated. I was embarrassed at the prospect of having to do that to all these potentially different women. Still it was a requirement of working there and it did pay good money." Walter told her his cheeks flaming red as he recalled the time.

"Being as embarrassed as you are telling me now, how did you tell your sister when you gave her the money for her bills?" Paige asked seriously.

"I didn't. I paid her bills anonymously. I didn't want anyone knowing how I was coming up with the money. I mailed the receipts to her. It was hard enough to hide the fact I was gone so much at night." Walter told her.

"When things turned around on the farm I quit, but by then I'd rehearsed and performed that routine so much, I guess it is like muscle memory, that song was always my lead in song." Walter finished.

Paige grinned before she stood up and pushed him back from his desk. She turned and sat down on his lap and kissed him. Their kiss was growing more passionate as they continued kissing.

"So you got to tell me, most guys work with costumes as part of their gimmick just like women do. So what was your gimmick, what was your name?" Paige asked as she toyed a finger around in his hair.

Walter blushed again.

"Well you have to understand I was so nervous and self conscious, it took a lot for me to put it together. So Keilah got me this black Zorro mask to wear over my head. But I was known as The Masked Calculator." Walter told her.

Paige smiled and it turned into a grin.

"That is so cute Walter." Paige kissed him again and then frowned.

"Wait, you were eighteen. Where did you live then?" Paige asked.

"This was when we lived down in Orlando Florida." Walter told her.

"Oh my Gawd, Walter! You were a dancer at the Pink Pussy Cat?" Paige giggled. "I can't believe I knew of you back then."

"W-what do you mean you knew me?" The slight smiled Walter had starting to develop disappeared as he swallowed hard.

Paige laughed as she nodded.

"My sorority sisters and I would hit up some of the clubs back then. The Pink Pussy Cat was one of our favorites. I always wondered what happened to The Masked Calculator. Did you come up with that name?" Paige asked as she kissed him again.

Walter blushed even harder as he shook his head.

"Keilah came up with it. This is so embarrassing. Once the drought had broken Mother and Father were able to resume paying her medical bills so I stopped." Walter confessed. "Wait, how did you get in?"

Paige giggled.

"Fake ID of course, how else would I get in since I wasn't even eighteen yet Walter?" Paige told him.

"Please don't tell anyone Paige." Walter pleaded.

Paige kissed his nose.

"Are you kidding? I got my own private stripper. I'm not sharing this with anyone." Paige laughed.

Greetings! I hope this finds you all well! Doing okay here so far. For those following my "Knight's Tale" stories, while I planned to use their trip to tell backstories, yesterday a different story broke and has been screaming loudly. Nearly got 3 chapters of it written so far. But it will come after "Littlest Knight".

To the Adventure! -Tim
