Battle of the Storm
Ruby, Sun, and Jaune are having a discussion about the next move to head to Poseidon Island. With help from Mai Ren, who helps carry out the plan. Forever grateful to the clan huntress, the huntsmen have gathered, sans Weiss, Jupiter, and Lie. Mai Ren is a woman of honor after her brother's death, and she wants to make sure his death will not be in vain upon looking at her brother's grave. The rest of them enjoyed bonding with the Lotus Warriors. Then the three team leaders are alone sitting on the porch. Sun is still blaming himself for letting his best friend going off alone to break the curse, but instead he was missing in action.
"This is all my fault. I let Neptune take the time he needed to get over his fear of water. Now he is gone, and his uncle is using him for personal gain." Groaned Sun. But Ruby pats him on the back. It happened to her team before when Blake ran off after the Fall of Beacon when her older sister, Yang, lost her arm to an enemy. Blaming herself for letting this happened because Blake have been wanting to help her solve her personal issues. And in the end, it all worked out.
"Sun, there's nothing you could've known. I am sure Neptune is just trying something he knew it will take time to adjust." Assured Ruby. "Don't worry, we'll get him back."
"You don't get it, Ruby. Ever since we were kids, Neptune's been afraid of the water after his semblance is awakened. I've been trying my best to be there for him. I mean, he's a brother to me, man. What kind of leader am I? What was Neptune thinking trying to find Jupiter on his own? It was all because I talked him into a mission we were supposed to stay out of, and for that, he was traumatized." He covered his eyes as his shame have came to the conclusion that looking back, it was a reckless act. Jaune has something else in mind to say when he lost his teammate Pyrrha Nikos.
"You want to know something, Sun? Back in the Fall of Beacon, it's just like Ruby said, when Pyrrha went to fight Cinder in Beacon Tower. She lost fighting in that battle, and never came back alive. As leader of Team JNPR, I blamed myself for this to happened. But then, what I learned from her that everyone has to at least try, to see what it takes to be a huntsman and a huntress. She never got the chance to graduate with us, but she fought her battle like a true huntress. The least she did, was try. And I'll bet Neptune was doing the same to overcome his fear of water. And as his leader, you inspired him to try so he could fight his battles. So that he could reach the top of the world with you and the rest of Team SSSNN. So don't blame yourself for this, Sun. Be proud that he did his best." Jaune assured him with that story. Just as the deceased Pyrrha Nikos has done to inspire him to become a huntsmen. Not as a mentor, but also as a friend, and partner. He will continue his path to fight for her honor.
"Wow, Jaune. That's something I never heard from you. Thanks." Sun replied.
"Well, it's like Pyrrha said. He is a fast learner. Never thought you matured so much, eh Jaune?" Asked Ruby.
"Yeah, I just wished that my remaining teammates hadn't fallen apart. You know, since Ren and Nora..." Jaune sighed, he heard from Ren that he already driven Nora away because of his own personal problems of dealing with seeing his loved ones hurt or dead. He could see that in a battle in Atlas.
"I'm sure they'll come around. I heard from Yang that she's with her now. But she still will not tell me for where she's at right now. She has to figure things her way." Ruby assured him.
Mi Ren is a part of Team JRR (pronounced: jeer) to maintain Pyrrha's honor. Mi knows that she would never replace her. She never met her, but hears wonderful stories about her when Lie have introduced her to Jaune. Nora Valkyrie, another member of Team JNPR have been missing over a year, because he pushed her away for her safety. Lie have feared that his personal feelings for her would eventually get her killed. And he will never forgive himself if anything happened to her. Yang Xiao Long, Ruby's older sister, have been missing in action as well on the same day. Neither of them were heard of ever since they took their own paths. Mi has hints that Lie is in love with Nora since childhood, and was eager to meet her. And assures her cousin that she will be eventually be found.
Weiss has been standing in front of the window in a stormy weather as everyone else has been asleep. Lie Ren, sensing that she is awake. Went over to her to talk to her. He could see that he isn't getting enough sleep if she keeps staring at the glass object. It was the same feeling he had when he was in Atlas. And that look reminded him of how he felt about those he cared about getting hurt. "You know, you won't be getting any sleep tonight if you keep standing here." Said Lie.
"Oh, hey Ren. I guess you cannot sleep either. Huh?" Weiss replied. Lie leans against the slide door. It was too dark, the lights were shut out. But there was a single candle lantern lit on the draw meant for weapons. Ren also have crossed his arms. "You could say that. The way you looked right now, something is in your mind right now." She turned to look at him in the eye. It's like he read her mind in an instant despite not being a psychic. "It's nothing, just some really bad coffee." Weiss denies it, but Ren shook his head otherwise.
"Nice try, I know when you're lying. I already heard from Ruby that you're heading to Argus. And you didn't give her the reason for why. And your arrival was at the same day Neptune was here. And here you're telling me that you don't have a reason of coming here. And something tells me you're worrying for him, aren't you." Ren concluded. Weiss blushes hearing this, she have only confide in her friends for her affections towards Neptune, but she never thought anyone else would find out.
"I guess you can say that. It was just an unexpected encounter, that's all. I just needed some time alone after this whole disaster in Atlas. You know, with my father in jail. My brother and sister not talking to me, and my mother adjusting..." Weiss paused at the moment. Ren pulled out Neptune's letter, and her face paled when he holds it. "What the...? Where did you get it?" Weiss flustered being embarrassed seeing this.
"It fell on the floor after you run off." Weiss then lowers her head, defeated. It looks like Ren was trying to help her with something that he couldn't. All those thoughts ran into her mind, like the flowing river. "I betrayed my own sister, my brother still wouldn't talk to me, and now Neptune is still in danger. And now I am his enemy because of what my ancestor has done to have his whole family punished. What my blood has done to make them all suffer. And now, he hates me." Weiss said sadly. "I guess I was born guilty."
Ren shook his head. He was fully aware for what was happening to the blue-haired huntsmen. He knew what she has been through because of the memory he has of losing his parents at the hands of Grimm. And he feared the same will happened to Nora. "Why would you think that? Never mind that. But you need to get it in your head and think, just because your ancestors have committed an awful crime, does not make you guilty of all things. What was the real reason you went back to Argus?"
Weiss then decided to get things out of her mind. There was no point in hiding it anymore. "When I overheard Ruby calling Sun to see how things are. That's when I heard Neptune went to Argus. So I decided to go there and reconnect with him. The real reason he was in pain, was because he went through all the trouble to find his older brother. So I helped him. But what I didn't know is that both my sister and his brother were at each other's throats before he and I enrolled to Haven and Beacon."
"And by reconnect, you mean you're in love with him, aren't you? And you feared you'll lose him if we don't head to the island." Ren deduces. And Weiss jolts at the answer. He thought way too quicker than anyone else could. He was like the counselor in Team JNPR.
"I don't think he feels the same for me, after his uncle told him I was the enemy. Maybe this was true." Weiss said, dejectedly. But Ren sees the other side of the story he wasn't there for.
"Actually Weiss, I think he didn't want you involve in reverting the curse, because maybe this is something he thinks he could handle on his own. He may be a flirt, or an awkward type of person. But maybe the reason was that because he care very much for you, and everyone else in his life. And I think he only left with his enemies to protect you." Ren then sighs to explain his side of his point of view for the emotions he always kept to himself. And the only person he always confide in, was Nora herself. "Just like how I have pushed Nora away. The moment I lost my parents in Kuroyuri. That's when I have met Nora, she was all alone, hungry, and shivering. At that time, I had to do something to help her feel whole again. She was like family to me at first. No one else knew where she come from. Neither does Nora. We've been training together before we enroll to Beacon. After the fall. I felt something more than just being friends, like we wanted to be with each other for the rest of our lives. But seeing the eyes of death made me realized, I couldn't save anyone. So I told her to be on her own, so that she could make decisions for herself. And now, I feel guilty, not knowing where she is now. The last thing I wanted was to tell her how sorry I was. All I wanted was to keep her safe as well. But instead, she vanished out of thin air." Ren said in despair, wishing he could take back anything for what he have said.
Weiss now sees that Ren is also a scared soul who only wants to provide the safety of his comrades. When Neptune told her that she is a liar and a scum because of her bloodline. He didn't mean to say that to her, but it was for her to be safe. In case anything happened to him. Ren then asked what is in her bag. But Weiss doesn't know what he's talking about until the glow in a bag she never saw has lit. She takes out the items glowing and it was the moon stones. But how did they got here? All she knew is that Neptune has them.
"How did they got there?"
"Maybe the stones he has are fake." Then they heard a thud coming from the medic room. "What was that?!" Jumped Weiss. And Ren, also startled by this went to check it out. When they arrived in the medical room, they saw Jupiter heavily breathing. And there is someone else in the room. He wasn't alone. Aside form him being bandaged from the ribs to the forehead. There is Winter standing in the middle, also bandaged. They daggered into each other. As soon as they stopped panting, they start fighting. "Winter?!" Weiss shrieked.
"This is all your fault, Vasilias! Now Mantle is flooded because of you!" Yelled Winter.
"Oh yeah?! What're you gonna do?! Put me in an interrogation room and beat me up?! Oh no wait, you already had!" Jupiter yelled back. "It's your fault that my brother was almost killed by both your father and Vega! And you wrongly accused him of something my team and I did right!"
"Water pest!"
"Ice Queen!"
"Blue-haired delinquent!"
"Daddy's rich girl!"
"Thief!"
"Ice demon!"
"You're even worse than Qrow!"
"You're just jealous because he always fights for what's right! But you, you're nothing but one of Ironwood's puppets since the day he shot a councilman after he abandoned Mantle! And what did you do?! Nothing!" Retorted Jupiter. "You're no huntress, you're just a soldier who follows orders!"
"Oh, shut up!" Winter shouted back.
All those insults have provoked the fight even further. As they clasped their hands and pushed each other. Winter summoned a glyph that levitates a cabin to throw at Jupiter. Causing him to dodged it and the cabin broke to reveal a few needles for injections and medicines inside. And Jupiter have rushed in to swing his right foot at her. And then his fist. But Winter avoids getting hit. And instead she grabs his arm and flung him to the door. Then Scarlet, annoyed by the ruckus, went to confront the people causing this. "What the heck is going on here?! Can't you see we're trying to get some sleep here?!" Only for Jupiter to be thrown at Scarlet when he entered the front door. Nolan went to see is he's okay. "You okay, Scarlet?" Asked Nolan.
"Never been better...ugh..." He said, groggily. Winter then notices. "Sorry!" Then Jupiter charges at Winter again and this tome he tackled her into a table. And broke it into half. Mai, Ruby, Sun, and Jaune are also noticing the scene.
"Whoa, Mrs. Ren. You weren't kidding when you said these families are at each other's throats." Said Drey, also arriving at the scene.
"Should we stop them?" Sun asked.
"Maybe we should stay out of this." Jaune said, nervous about getting injured in the fight. But that is when Ruby steps in and got in the middle as the two older huntsmen have finally noticed her. And stopped to see her angry expression, also annoyance. "Stop fighting! NOOOOOOOOWWWW!" Screamed Ruby. Enough to wake the group who're still asleep. That scream is also giving Jupiter and Winter deaf ears. Causing them to cover having a ringing noise in their earholes. Ruby breathe a lot after all the screaming have nearly cost her voice. And then recover to have something to say.
"Don't you see. You're both adults, way older than us! And you're fighting like complete children, when the world is at stake here!" Huffed Ruby, crossing her arms. Mai also walks in agreement with Ruby.
"I believe Ms. Rose has a point. If you two are going to settle things by fighting, then you'll have to take it, outside!" Warned Mai. Pointing her finger at the hallway where it leads the exit. Then they realized that they were right. What they've been doing was having a grudge with each other and the world is about to be flooded by the curse of the Vasiliases. They looked at each other and gave up. Sighing in defeat. No one wins the fight, but Sun was disappointed to see that it was over. he was hoping Jupiter would win this one. But not today. Jaune was relieved that it was over before the damage is further. Then Winter and Jupiter regretted for ever fighting each other because they felt stings of pain to where the bandages are patched up.
"No fair, the fight's about to get good, man! Even Jupiter could've won." Scoffed Sun, causing Blake to smack him in the head out of nowhere.
"You two should be ashamed of yourselves! In case you haven't noticed, Jupiter! Your uncle was about to make your brother a human sacrifice! And you Winter...You cannot seemed to put your grudge aside to waste your time trying to capture him!" Mai bellowed them. Causing the huntsmen to look around to see how much damage they caused in the fight. Not to mention a hole they have created behind them.
"Of course, I'm very sorry, Mrs. Ren." Said Jupiter, bowing to her, as he recognized her as an acquaintance of his father's. Winter does the same after feeling shamed to have caused a mess she couldn't deny. "It's great to see you again. You have my condolences to you and your brother."
"Nice to see you again as well. You've grown a lot."
"You two know each other?" Asked Winter.
"She's an acquaintance of my dad's." Winter then glances at Weiss, who happens to be hiding in behind the door. When their eyes meet, Weiss then jerks away from facing her sister. Ruby then proceeds to make a distraction with a question she wanted to ask first. "How did you get here, Winter? We thought you're still in Atlas." Asked Ruby. For starters, Winter has told them her side of the story for when she was attacked by the Sea People while investigating the cause of the floods. And then she was washed to Anima, then she was found by the Ren Clan. And was taken for medical attention. But while she was wandering around the house, that's when she gets angry by seeing Jupiter. And that's when they started the altercation.
"And just like that, you guys just started fighting." Sun deduces. And they both nodded. It was very crossing his arms. Then Jupiter remembers Sun from his younger days. The last time he remembers is when he was 14, the same age as his younger brother. He was like a little brother to him when he has Neptune's back. "It's been a while, Sun. I haven't seen you while I was "dead."
"Nice seeing you too, Jupiter. But now is not the time for a chit-chat. While you're in a tango with the older Ice Queen..."
"I'm not that old!" Snapped Winter, causing Jupiter to hold back his laughter.
"Neptune is about to be possessed by a vengeful ancestor of yours and will flood Remnant if we don't do something soon." Said Sun.
"So you know about the curse too, huh?" Jupiter asked, and Sun nods. Mi and Lie Ren have then spun to the back door in the courtyard. Mai then sensed what was going on. An aura this immense. The Ren family can sense aura, it isn't semblance. But it's a sacred art that is handful for sensing danger. "Mother, did you feel that too?" Asked Mi. Mai's eyes daggered for an incoming enemy. If not more. "Yes, I felt that too. Find your father." Ordered Mai, and Mi nods. "Lie, with me."
"Understood." Replied Lie. He followed his aunt to the front door to guard the gate. Winter went after Weiss to see if she's fine. In the living room, Weiss is standing in front of the window, not wanting to argue with Winter. Again, it was so dark, it was all she could see among rain, thunder, and lightning. The she hears footsteps, she was hoping it was just one of her friends. Even new ones. But it was someone familiar to her. "Winter, I know I was being harsh on you. But can you leave me alone? You can be strict with me all you want. I just can't take it anymore."
"You know, you reminded me of someone I knew, a long time ago." That voice came from behind, underneath the shadows. Weiss turned to see Neptune standing in front of her. His arms are crossed while leaning against the wall. Near the doorway. "Neptune?" She blinked. Her heart skipped a beat when he sees him. But to her horror. His eyes glowed light blue. He walks closer. But Weiss steps back until her back hits the window. But the feeling in her body wanted to be near him again. Her feet sprinted to reach out for him again. "Neptune!" She screamed in tears, until Winter appeared out of nowhere and pushes Weiss away to attack him by slamming him by the shoulder. "Get away from her!" Winter shouts by pointing her sword at him. Until Weiss got in front of him and made her stance against her.
"Weiss, what are you doing?! He's not the same man you once knew anymore!" Warned Winter. But her sister wasn't going to give up this easily. And continue to glare at her. "No! I won't stand by and let him get hurt! Think, Winter! Don't you think he has enough pain and suffering for one day?!"
"But, sister, he's already been taken over by the sea phantom! Look into his eyes!"
"You're just saying that because he's a Vasilias, is he?!" Weiss shouts harshly. Winter is stunned to hear for what she just said. She have kept that a secret to herself when Weiss was younger. And now she knows for why the grudge she has with Jupiter. Both older siblings never gotten along, and they never will. Winter understands that she has gotten too far to have a serious pride for being a huntress. Even as one, a soldier is all she ever is. When she heard about the story about the Sea People, chances are her fears are coming true. She told her sister that she can love whoever she wants. But that she has to be careful for who she trust.
Cascade (in Neptune's body) gets up and opens his eyes after distortion. Weiss then turns to him to check for injuries. But there was none. "Neptune?" She inquires. But he said nothing to her. "There is no Neptune. Only me...Cascade Vasilias." Weiss is at a loss to hear that there is someone else in his body. But out of nowhere, Winter saw him summoning rain water as a stream and blows Winter to the walls. And then she slams on the floor. Weiss then glances for what he did. "Winter!" She calls, and then knelt down to her. "Forgive me, sister!" She sprints back into her feet and charges at Neptune with her glyph to spring from.
Meanwhile, Choi and Mi are standing at the front gate readying their weapons. Along with Blake, Sage, and Ren. There are the descendants of the Sea People standing. Two of the Lotus Warriors with the water semblance as well, have glowing eyes. "I'm ordering you both to stand down." Choi warn. "Don't make us use force."
"Forgive us, Master Choi. But we're ordered by the great General Vasilias to obtain the moon stones and bring them back to him." They also readied their weapons. Ren then sensed a familiar aura as he turned back to see an icicle being aimed for Choi. And then it sped in the air towards him. "Uncle!" Ren shouted and pushed him out of the way to safety as it only hits one of the Sea People. Causing him to fall from Mountain Ren. Mi then turned to him. "Father! Are you okay?!" Choi nodded. He got up and drew his sword form his sheath. Then the rest of the Lotus Warriors came to the aide of the huntsmen. "Master Choi!" Mai then came along as well. She is relieved to see her husband, daughter and nephew alive. But they aren't done yet.
"Warriors, ready for battle!" Mai shouted. The battle has commenced. The Lotus Warriors have taken charge at the invaders. They have no choice but to take down their own men who're under the control of the curse. Jaune and Ruby are still inside the house holding off Juno and Pluto. While Sun suspects Neptune to be around the house, and went off to search for him. As they gave him the go-ahead in order to prevent Cascade from collecting the aura of the Sea People. Ruby dodges Juno's whiplashes by rolling on the floors. Then she spun around to trip her in her own game.
Jaune then clangs his sword to Pluto's. And swipes his blade downward, causing Pluto to step back. And sprints towards him again. "Is it just me, or does this one looked like Neptune?!" Jaune exclaimed gesturing at Pluto.
"Now that you mentioned it, it looks like he has more brothers and sisters!" Ruby replied. "One big sister is already enough for me to live with!" And by that, she meant Yang. They did a battle cry the moment they jumped back into action. With Ruby and Jaune switching parring opponents. Juno wraps Ruby's scythe with her electric whip, but Ruby gains the upper hand using her speed to throw her into the air along with her whip. Jaune blocks Pluto's hit with his shield and pushes him back. Jupiter, noticing this, have backed him up by sweeping Pluto's feet, causing him to fall back on the floor. And threw him into the door. Breaking it in half.
"Sorry, Pluto. But you're going to need to chill out." He then turns to Ruby and Jaune. "Keep Juno busy, I'm going after whoever is behind this!" He instructed. They nodded and he left to search for the leader. Juno got back into her feet, and her eyes daggered at the two team leaders. Meanwhile, Weiss is still defending Winter before the possessed Neptune, unwillingly. "Neptune, stop this. This isn't you." She pleaded, but he shook his head in response to that name. But Weiss won't stop a nothing from bringing him back. "I told you, he is gone. There is no possibility to bring his soul back."
Cascade then raises his Tri-hard for some extreme measures. "I hope you can forgive me for what I'm about to do." He said, apologetically. Looking at her face reminds Cascade of his beloved before her betrayal. His eyes were tightly closed, unwilling to kill her. Although she is not who he thinks she is, he still has revenge to complete. He lowers his spear as Weiss nearly pulled her rapier. "You know. I have another idea, just hand me the real moon stones." Weiss then glances at the bag filled with moon stones and held them close to her. And looks at him defiantly. "I can't. I won't let you flood the world with Neptune's body. I cannot let you kill the other Sea People either, it's wrong. I demand you to give him back his body, it's not yours to control."
Cascade takes a step further to snatch the moon stones from Weiss. Until he is ambushed by Sun. Bending his arm behind his back. "What the hell, Neptune?! What has gotten into you!" He then went wide eyed to his his eyes glowing. "Neptune, your eyes..." Gasped Sun. He was cut off by Neptune when he was parried by Sun with a fist clutched heading for his head. Then twirl his foot for Sun to crouch. Sun blocks Neptune's Tri-hard as she swung down, with his Ruyi Jingu Bang. He splits his staff in half to spiral his gunchucks. Sun then turns to Weiss and Winter, "Run!" Winter recovers and yanks her sister out the door.
Mi uses her fan blades with her semblance, psychokinesis, to send to blades to two of the invaders. Then pulls them back to her and uses her blades to aide Blake when she was surrounded by the invaders. Then Drey was pinned down by the water summoned by a woman. Mi then uses her semblance to blow away the woman with a wind-like wave with her fan. The water that got Drey finally dissipates. Drey looked up at her and blushes. "Um, thanks?" Mi giggled and offer her hand to help him up.
Blake then spirals her Gamble Shroud with a ribbon tied to her pistol to knock away the sea warriors. But she knows they're innocent people in a trance, so she did while she can to not hurt or kill them. Then a storm of hale have been bought upon them. "Everyone, take cover!" Ren shouted using his father's bow to shoot some of the hale rocks raining from the sky, and it turns out that one of the sea warriors have summoned hale, another kind of water-based semblance. Then a giant hale boulder is about to fall on Nolan, and Scarlet notices. "Watch out!" Until a blast of a light ball have blown the hale boulder into pieces, and it came from Choi. Whose semblance is a light ball.
"A hale storm?! Really?!" Sun growls, happened to just run out the building, only to be tackled by Neptune/Cascade. Sage, Scarlet and Nolan saw this and attempts to restrain him before things got worse. "Snap out of it, Neptune! Don't you realized what you're doing?!" Sage yells and holds him from under his arms, behind him. While Scarlet and Nolan got him by the ankles to keep him from getting away in hopes to wake him up from Cascade's soul. "Guys, be careful! He's possessed!" Sun warns. Then two more of the sea warriors came up in front of them. And they were about to shoot water at them. But Sun gains the upper hand by clasping his hands and activates his semblance, Via Sun. To create clones and combat them. "Party's over for you guys!" Joked Sun.
He then turns around to find Cascade managing to free himself from the three members of Team SSSNN. Knocking them all, and then leaps to press his foot on Sun. "Damn it, when was he that strong?!" Questioned Sage.
Meanwhile, Hyperion watches from above while battling the Lotus Warriors who ambushed him. But he is strong enough to take them all at once. Lashing out three men and women on the roof top. Even if the Lotus Warriors are the best in the clan, they're still no match for the younger brother of Saturn Vasilias. Even he was thought to be dead, as his semblance was too unlocked when he nearly drowned. His cursed older brother stood beside him, his eyes where still glowing. Not being able to have a free will to fight back. Hyperion then looks at him.
Just as I remembered, Saturn. The moment I was born, you were always there for me. Until you met Lydia, and then you began to ignore me. But the moment I have laid eyes on her, I have a desire to be with her. But how could I when she only has laid eyes on you? The day we took our father's boat, that is when the little brother you knew is gone. Dad have paid so much attention to you, I was nothing but a outcast in your shadow. No matter how hard I worked. I just realized that everyone of the outsiders were nothing but pollutants, animals. Who would kill the life in the sea, the spirit of Cascade have opened my eyes. So I was the one who instigated the curse. Your youngest son has become more of a use for me. And now it's time we take back for what's rightfully ours. He thought as he recounts his days of resentment towards his older brother.
"Hyperion!" A voice shouted at him, behind him was Jupiter. His teeth gritted in hatred to see the one relative who puts his father and siblings in place of the curse. And seeing Neptune possessed was the painful part. "You're going to pay for what you did to my family! And worst of all, you used my brother as a catalyst!" He yells charging at him with De Nile in his hands, very tightly. Until Hyperion made sharp water wave lengths to give him a cut on his ribs, marking the red scratches on it as it slightly bleeds. "How persistent of you, Jupiter. Just when I was about to make you a vessel, you are nothing more than a failure in our ancestor's ambitions."
"Well it's better than to be a puppet in your goals!" Jupiter retorts. Resisting the pain from the cuts he received from Hyperion. He too has a spear of his own, and slashed at Jupiter. But Winter got in the way and blocks his spear. Jupiter then pushes her aside and shouts, "Out of my way! Hyperion's mine!" Combating Hyperion with his own spear. And then clash it upward. Winter then pushes him aside too in a competitive manner. "No, you move out of the way! I'm getting him first!" She then summons multiple glyphs to create sabyr Grimm to attack Hyperion to overwhelm him as he focused on destroying them, while Winter dashed at him and swipes her sword with all her might. Then Cascade appeared behind him. Winter and Jupiter still fight over who gets to take down Hyperion first, Weiss then hops on the roof to witness the battle. Then Hyperion uses the blob of water to pin them to the pillar. With Jupiter's right hand still free holding the De Nile. Ruby and Jaune also arrived at the roof top to stop the two from gaining the gemstones. "You're not going anywhere, Hyperion!" Ruby shouted.
"Yeah! We're not going to let you off unless you tell that ghost to release Neptune from this possession, right now!" Jaune adds. Weiss then uses the opportunity to release the two older siblings from the blob by vaporizing it with a fire glyph. As her Myrtenaster encrusted the dusts installed. Ruby shots her bullets from her sniper to jump in the air and then spun her scythe at Hyperion, but Cascade got in the way by trapping Ruby in a bubble of water to drown her. But luckily Jaune popped it using his shield being installed to double the strength of his sword.
"Thanks, Jaune." Said Ruby.
"We're not done yet." He replied. "But you're welcome."
Winter and Jupiter have landed on the courtyard of the Ren Temple. Jupiter have shifted his spear into a sniper also to make a clear shot at Hyperion. And then climbed onto another rooftop. "50 meter shot." Cascade kept blasting water balls at Weiss as she blocks them with her blade. She has to focus, even if this is Neptune in body, his soul is still locked somewhere inside. She spun around to swing her blade across him, and Cascade repel it with the Tri-hard. "I am asking you one more time. Give. Neptune's. Body. Back. To him!" She demanded again. Then they pushed each other's weapons, 15 meters apart. Jupiter has finally locked his target after telling Ruby and Jaune to move out of the way. After all, he's one of the huntsmen in the previous generations. As they did, he shot a bullet at Hyperion. But he quickly jumped away in a scarce. And then the bullet went straight towards the still possessed Neptune. Jupiter's eyes widened after realizing that the bullet is heading straight to his brother (or rather, who appears to be his brother). He was too far away to stop it. But then a bullet was hit, as Cascade turns to see who took the shot for him.
Winter is in horror to see who had been hit. It was her younger sister. Her dress is covered in blood, red in darker shade than Ruby's cape. Jaune and Ruby, noticing this, is shocked to see what was happening. Jupiter realizes what he has done. He never meant this to happened, even though she is the sister of his most hated rival, he holds no ill will against her. Weiss then breathes heavily to turn to him. "Why did you do it?" Cascade asked with such mixed feelings he cannot make out of. An outsider risking his life to shield him from that bullet.
"I am just glad, it wasn't you. I now understand why you did it." Weiss said, shakily. Even if it was someone else in his body, he was still Neptune.
"Oh no, Weiss!" Ruby cried and tried to recover her before things, but was stopped by Hyperion. Weiss nearly fell, but Cascade catches her and lifts her up as she passed out from that shot. And proceeds to take her with him. "We got what we needed Hyperion. We're leaving." Ordered Cascade. Winter's face turned to anger, not wanting to think what's going to happened to her sister. All the sea warriors have stopped the fight and left in an instant. He then turns away to the edge.
"Put her down, Cascade! I'm not going to let you get away!" Yelled Winter, but he gave him the cold shoulder and carried Weiss away in his arms.
"Neptune! Get back here!" Shouted Sun. But it was no use, it was over. The thing is, the Lotus Warriors and the huntsmen are not harmed, except with some wounds, which wasn't bad. But they got away with the moon stones. Leaving the group of what to do next.
