Percy walked into the camp. She had traveled to Long Island in New York for it. It was a tiring journey for the two girls.
The sign above read Camp Half Blood in Ancient Greek. Dianna, in one of Bruce's cars, had just dropped her off at the gates. She said that she did not want to see Chiron or Dionysus.
When she entered the camp Chiron walked up to Percy. In all of his four legged glory. She instantly knew who he was. As she walked over Percy didn't see Grover anywhere. She was told that he was a satyr.
"Mr. Burner?" Percy asked
"Here I'm known as Chiron." He said
"Chiron. As in one of the siblings of the big three?" Percy asked
"How do you know so much?" Chiron asked
"The woman I call mom is Dianna the daughter of Hippolyta and the Princess of Themyscira." Percy said
Chiron nodded in understanding. He had heard that Dianna had married a man with an adopted daughter. He also heard that that man wasn't a human.
"Okay where did you run off to after the scuffle with the Fury?" Chiron asked
"It was Gotham and I've basically grew up there. And when I tried to defend myself from it I hit a button on my watch that informed Bruce Wayne's butler to come pick me up. I just thought it was a good idea to leave. You know to clear my head. I would have done the same thing in Star City if we were there." Percy said
Chiron nodded. He knew of the need to clear ones head. Then symbols appeared over Percy's head. And it wasn't the usual one symbol. There were three.
"My birth father is Poseidon." Percy said
She saw the symbol of Poseidon above her head. There also the symbols of Hestia and Hera with C's next to them.
"Yes he is. Your also the champion of Hera and Hestia apparently." Chiron said
Chiron took Percy to her cabin. On the way, Grover decided to tag along with them. They reached the cabin. It was big and open and free. It over looked the water. And it had its own dock. Percy loved it. It was like Bruce's cabin by Lily bay in Maine.
"Your father built this for you. Right after you were born." Chiron said
Percy knew why. Building this was one of the things he did to keep Hera quiet.
Percy walked in and looked around. She saw a trident in the corner and picked up and gave it a twirl. It was similar to the trident that Arthur brought to HQ one time.
"Arthur and mom are going to have my head for not figuring this out." Percy said
"Who?" Grover questioned
He gave gave his friend a questioning look. Percy turned to her satyr friend. He didn't know much of her life outside of school.
"Arthur. As in the King of Antlantis. And when I say mom, I mean Dianna the daughter of Hippolyta and the Princess of Themyscira." Percy said
Grover was shocked. He knew his friend was on friendly terms with the Justice League. But he didn't know that she knew actual Greek royalty. Or even lived with one.
Grover and Chiron lest Percy to get settled into the cabin. Percy opened her bag. Arthur gave it to her on her last birthday. It was bottomless. So she packed not only clothes. She brought copies of her pictures. Mostly the ones where the justice league were all in civilian clothes.
One of Aphrodite's daughters came in.
"Hi I'm Percy Kent." Percy introduced herself
"Hi I'm Piper McLean." She said
"McLean, as in the actor? Tristan McLean?" Percy asked
"You've heard of him?" Piper asked
"Of course I have. Especially when I hang around Oliver Queen and Bruce Wayne almost on a daily basis." Percy said
"You know Oliver Queen and Bruce Wayne?" Piper asked
"They're like my uncles." Percy said
The two girls continue to talk. Percy finds it that Piper is a child of Aphrodite. Piper helps Percy unpack her clothes. Piper noticed that Percy came prepared. That Percy packed jean shorts, tank tops and sneakers. And some sandals.
Then Piper noticed the pictures Percy had set up. There were pictures of people. On the bottom of one had said Clark Kent, Dinah lance, Oliver Queen, Dianna Kent, Bruce Wayne, J'ohn, Arthur and Barry Allen.
That was how Piper found out that Percy knew the Princess of Themyscira and the King of Antlantis.
"You know the Princess of Themyscira and the King of Antlantis?" Piper asked
"Yeah. The Princess of Themyscira married my adoptive father." Percy said
Percy explained her life to Piper. She told her new friend about what happened to her birth mother and stepfather.
Soon it was dinner. Piper explained that on weekends that all the tables up for grabs. How if one has friends in other cabins they can sit with each other. Basically that the rule for the tables is gone. And it was Saturday.
Piper and Percy sat at the Poseidon table. Piper said that it's tradition to sacrifice part of their plates to the gods.
"Dianna does that too so I'm used to it." Percy said shrugging
Soon a girl with blonde hair and grey eyes and was about the same age as Piper and Percy walks up to them.
"Who's she?" The girl asked Piper
"I'm Percy Kent. And you are?" Percy said
"I'm Annabeth Chase." She said
"Would you like to sit with us?" Percy asked
Annabeth nodded and sat down. The three girls start talking.
Soon Chiron called up Percy.
"Campers, we have a new member joining us today." Chiron said
Percy walked up and stood next to the centaur. It was visibility obvious that Percy was nervous.
"This is Persephone Kent. The daughter of Poseidon and the champion of Hera and Hestia." Chiron said
There was no sound. Everyone looked at the girl next the trainer of hero's. Piper looked to her friend. She didn't knew Percy was t he champion Hestia and Hera.
Percy walked back to the table she was sitting at.
"Why didn't you tell me about you being two goddesses champions?" Piper asked
"Because I was trying to get my own head around it. Plus I don't exactly know what it means." Percy said
"How long have you known about the gods?" Annabeth asked
"Well my mom worships them. And I am on a first name basis with King Arthur of Antlantis. So I'll say all my life." Percy said
Percy's midwestern accents was shining through. Or what Clark said was their Kansas was showing.
"Where did you grow up?" Piper asked
"Mostly Smallville, Kansas." Percy said
"That explains the accent." Piper said
"Oh, damn. My Kansas is showing." Percy said
Piper and Annabeth laughed at this. They somehow got the joke. Annabeth explained that for a champion of goddesses like Hera and Hestia, you're basically their honorary demigod child. Percy made a mental note about calling her grandmother.
She was the only one Percy knew of on how to use Hera powers. That night Percy was in her cabin. Piper and Annabeth didn't want to go back to their cabins. So they both slept in Percy's cabin.
When Percy knew her two friends were out, she pulled out her phone. Arthur and his wife Mera put a spell on the device to be untraceable to the monsters.
"Hello?" Martha said
Oh, thank the gods she was still up.
"Grandma. I need some help." Percy said
"What's wrong sweetheart?" Martha asked
"Hera made me her champion. A demigod child of Athena said it was like I was a child of Hera." Percy said
"Now you've got her powers." Martha said
"Yeah. And you are the only one I know that can help me." Percy said
There was a pause. It was like Martha was thinking of what to do with her granddaughter and how to do it without the gods knowing.
"Give me a day. Then I'll call you back." Martha said
"Okay. Goodbye grandma." Percy said
Then they hung up. And Percy went to sleep.
A/N: I'm trying to come up with a love interest for Percy. Should I do Dick, Wally, Roy or Kaldur? Or should she go on one date with each? Or should I lean to Apollo?
