When Percy, Piper and Annabeth got back to camp. They had spent a week recuperating and resting. After that the three girls went back to training. And after a few weeks, on August 10th, Percy pooped and wanted to go home.
She wanted to see her family. She wanted to go to Central City, Star City, Gotham City. She wanted to do a lot of things that couldn't be done while at the camp.
Hell, She even wanted to go to Smallville to see her grandparents. Dianna had planned a trip to take Percy to Themycira.
There Percy would learn how to be an Amazon. She had a feeling that Queen Hyppolita will want Percy to be a princess for them.
Something Percy really wanted to be. But something in Percy pulled her to the underwater city that was her brothers home.
"You're really going aren't you?" Piper asked from behind Percy
Percy turned to her friends. Annabeth has a sad expression on her face. Tears swelled in Annabeth's eyes.
"Yeah I am. Mom has a trip to Themycira for us planned. Mom said her mother wants me to be another one of their princesses. Mom's heir as she is the crown princess. And Arthur probably wants me to go to Atlantis with him." Percy said
Piper and Annabeth nodded.
"And Bruce wanted to take me to see a circus act that I've wanted to see for years but was always out of country." Percy said
"What act?" Piper asked
"The flying Grayson's. I hear they are the best acrobats ever." Percy said in an excited way
Piper and Annabeth could see the excitement in their friends eyes. They could feel it too. They couldn't help but be excited like their friend. But not as much as Percy. As she could contain the emotion.
"I've seen videos. They are that good." Piper said
"I've heard that they have a new member in their ranks." Annabeth said
"Yeah, Richard. Marry and John's son. I've heard that he is just as good as his parents." Percy said
"I've heard that he wants to go by Dick." Piper said
"Me too." Percy said nodding
They helped Percy pack her things the rest of the way. They laughed and joked and made sarcastic comments to each other. They also poked fun at the other.
A couple hours later and a tearful goodbye, Percy got into the backseat of a Rolls Royce Phantom. She slid in right next to Bruce Wayne.
As the car drove off Percy could hear her friends yell to her. Piper ran behind the car for a little bit before being pulled back by Annabeth.
It reminded Percy of that scene in Holes when Stanley Yelnats and Hector Zeroni left the camp and their friends were yelling at their car. This made Percy laugh and shake her head.
"So you got any plans now that your out of that Ancient Greek army camp?" Bruce asked as they drove into a town
"It's still in the works. But I have a feeling that Arthur will want to take me down to Atlantis." Percy said
"Maybe. From what you said, he may want to play catch up with your Atlantean training. So be prepared." Bruce said
To the drive to Gotham Bruce began to tell Percy how everyone in the League was going to be happy when they see her. Percy was happy to hear this.
"Oh, before I forget. Can you make my bat signal watch into a necklace? Uncle Ares made me a shield watch that works." Percy asked
"Of course." Bruce said nodding
When the three got to the manor and into the living room Percy saw her father. Percy ran into her father's arms. Percy kept murmuring that she missed him.
During dinner Percy told her parents, Alfred and Bruce about camp that they didn't know. She told them on how Annabeth and Piper were shocked to see her superman blue bow Oliver give her.
"Were they really that shocked over it?" Bruce asked
"Yeah they were. They expected me to be bad at archery. They never expected me to have some training in the area's they were trying to teach me in. Let alone have my own weapon on hand." Percy said
"Did they allow you to use the bow?" Clark asked
"Yes after I demonstrated that I was too good for the bows they have on hand. And that took about a week and a half." Percy said
"How?" Bruce asked
"I used all of the tricks Ollie showed me when I mastered at the normal stuff with the bow." Percy said
"Like what?" Dianna asked
"Aiming the arrow away from the target and still making a bull's-eye. The kids in the Apollo cabin made me an honorary member after that because of my tricks." Percy said with a sly smile
The conversation soon turned from the tricks Percy learned how to do on her bow to the next gala Bruce was hosting in two weeks. Or was forced to host in two weeks. Then the conversation turned to the circus that Bruce and Percy were going to.
"I've heard that they've canceled the elephant rides because their elephant is getting old." Clark said
"What?! I was expecting a ride." Percy said
There was disappointment in her eyes. Percy did everything in her power to hide it. But she couldn't hide the disappointment from her mother.
Dinner was soon over. And the plan for the circus was finalized. Percy didn't know that Bruce had set up a meeting her and the Grayson's. The group Percy really wanted to see perform.
When Percy left to go get something from her room, Bruce turned to Clark and Dianna.
"Is everything still up?" Clark asked
This meant the meeting between the Flying Grayson's and Percy.
"Yeah. John and Marry know she's coming. Apparently their son Richard, or Dick as he wants people to call him, is excited to see and meet her. It sounded adorable." Bruce said
Clark and Dianna nodded. They understood why. Dick had been isolated to a place where he didn't have much association with kids or people his own age. It was good for him to do this.
Before the three adults could say anything else, Percy came down the stairs. They looked to the girl.
"What?" Percy asked
"Nothing." They said in unison
To Percy they looked suspicious. But she didn't say anything about it. On the way back to metropolis Percy kept thinking about camp half blood. On how fun it was to show how good of an archer she was. She smiled at the thought.
When the family of three got home, Percy had fallen asleep. Clark carries his daughter to her room. Dianna changed Percy's day clothes into pajamas.
When Dianna got back to the kitchen Dianna saw her husband drinking some whiskey and playing with his ring.
"Babe, what's wrong?" Dianna asked
"I didn't like lying to Percy." Clark said
"I know sweetheart." Dianna said
"I've never told you about the day I became her father." Clark said
"No you haven't." Dianna said
"It was mid December, just over a week and a half away from Christmas. I was in the living of the farm house. Mom came to me and said she was a demigod. When her mother, aunt and brother came to the house with Percy in a blue blanket.
"When I was handed her, my heart stopped when my eyes saw her. It melted, solidified and started up again. Without thinking about it, I began to sing hush little baby. From then on, I vowed to never lie to her. Unless I needed to." Clark said
Dianna's heart broke. When she met Clark, he was almost 17. She still remembered the day when she met Percy. That day Dianna understood why Clark always chose his daughter over anyone else. His mother included.
She never stood in between the relationship Clark wanted with Percy. She wanted to be apart of it.
