Epilogue
Mistral
The Moon Festival. Where the full moon rises as the rides have spread in the beach. Where couples are blissed. Mi Ren is performing a fan dance. Her mother had been overprotective of her for years of youth. But seeing her daughter as a strong huntress, all she wanted we is for her to have a great social life, as long as she is aware of her surroundings. Everyone is in awe. Even Drey admired her skills. When their eyes meet, Mi smiles as Drey blushed further.
Scarlet, Nolan, Sage, Jaune, Ruby and Ren, Sun and Blake are having a conversation of what to do next after the festival is over. But the conversation was interrupted when an eagle landed on Ruby's shoulder. And it has a note on its leg. Unties it and reads it.
I heard from Jupiter that you did well. If you're wondering where I am, don't. The important thing is, I'm proud of you, sis. Oh and Nora said hi.

Ruby is astonished to hear that her big sister is alive. Over the months she has disappeared. And never heard from her ever since. But in her opinion, she must had something in mind and was taking time to figure things out on her own. She is her big sister after all. It have Ruby hope that one day, the sisters will reunite.
Yang. Thought Ruby.
"Man, can you actually believe it? It's about time Neptune got over his fear of water. Now that Team SSSNN is back together again, we're ready for anything!" Sun pumped his first in the air. Proud of his best friend for overcoming his fear.
"Hold on, Sun. We're not sure if we're ready for anything. Besides, let's not forget that Hyperion is under Salem's control. It's best if we keep it under wraps for a while. Maybe Salem knows something about the Vasilias lineage and was attempting to eliminate the entire family to only leave Hyperion behind as a servant." Ren explains.
"From what I got from Drey, his cousin Rick was one of the individuals who have intel on Salem. Maybe what he meant by his "queen." He meant her. As she thought Neptune and his family is dangerous." Said Sage. Eating a corn dog on the stick.
"Let's not think about it tonight. Cause now, the night is still young." Said Scarlet holding Nolan's hand.
Meanwhile, Neptune and Weiss are holding hands while strolling around the festivals as fireworks bloomed in the skies. Weiss is in a yukata that was given to her by Lydia, as it was hers for when he met Saturn in their younger days. It was dark blue with pink cherry blossoms for imprints on the yukata. Her hair is tied to a bun with floral accessories.
"It's beautiful. Isn't it?" Asked Neptune.
"Yes, it is. I cannot believe it, we went this far and this is where it got us." Weiss smiled. Holding onto a fan and flipping it close to her chin. Neptune then wrapped his arm around her shoulder. It was the sweetest moment of their lives. "Was Ren aware that his cousin got herself an admirer?" Asked Weiss. Neptune recalled seeing Mi and Drey chat in the ferry. And Mai takes notice and offers him a job in the Clan as Mi's bodyguard, as she took a liking to him. But that would depend on the two in the future.
"That depends. I don't think Ren would be too happy about it." He chuckled. "Wait until Nora gets here."
"Let's just hope they could work things out when they see each other again. After all, she and Yang have been out of contact for months now." Weiss deduces. Ren seemed unhappy that Nora as still nowhere to be found. But hopes that one day he will find her and apologize. "Hope you're right, Snow Angel."
They then see Jaune giving him assurance by patting his shoulder. Ren looks up and grinned as he still has friends around. Looking up at the stars.
Then Neptune takes her hand again. "Weiss, there's something I wanted to show you." He then leads her to the forest outside of the festival. As they reached the end of the wall of trees. It was just a peak of a hill hanging by the seas. They then walked up there. As they sat on the top together. Fireworks have been seen in a better view on the top. But best of all, the meteorites have fallen from the night sky. Weiss' eyes sparkled at the sight of shooting stars. "Wow. It's amazing."
"Yeah, it is." Replied Neptune. He turned to her. And then there is a small black box in his hand. "You know, back when I found out that you came to Poseidon Island alone to search for your brother. I got scared that you might get hurt or worse. I never took you for taking risk." She has her point there when she remembers seeing him on the island.
"I'll have to admit. Sun did say I was pretty dumb." He still got a lot on his mind whenever Sun mentions to go for it. But then something else got popped in. He remembers that Rick and his father were in the accident, the night of his brother's disappearance. He did feel bad for having them caught in it because of his semblance. "Well, he was right. Back when Rick have told me how his dad's life ended because of me. I kinda felt bad for him. He must've been a positive influence of his life, like how my dad was. And I took that away from him." Neptune sighed. "Still, I forgot Dad have a younger brother. And now he's out there doing evil stuff. It just came back to me when I saw the photographs." Neptune showed him the photo of the younger versions of both his father and uncle. The brothers have smiled on this photo. Somewhere in the beach. "They looked like they were so close." Said Weiss.
"Were, until the accident with Grandpa's boat." Said Neptune. "Dad had been feeling very guilty that now Hyperion and Rick have been under the control of Salem to rid my family. At least that's what we got from Ruby."
"Tell me about it. Ruby had been searching for answers of how to defeat Salem since she lost her mom. Looking back, now I realized how much of a brat I was to her when she first came to Beacon." Weiss says reminding herself of that meeting in the courtyard of Beacon Academy.
"Come on, don't say that. After coming all this way, I could see that you become a better person. If it makes you feel any better, when Sun left Haven without telling us, Scarlet was super angry about it." Neptune said. Weiss then remembers that Sun did arrive to save Haven Academy against the White Fang. "Still, if it weren't for him, then Blake would not be there for the team." He then opens the box to show Weiss a sapphire heart shaped necklace. "They called this the Heart of the Ocean. It's very popular around Mistral." He then hangs the silver sterling around her neck.
"Neptune..." Weiss is in a loss for words after the necklace was put. Her face turned into a shade of red the moment she looked at Neptune in his eyes. "Thank you." She replied, but he shook his head.
"No, thank you. For showing me that I cannot live in fear anymore. And now, we're both free." Their hearts wanted up as they held each other in their loving arms as the fireworks spread endlessly. With chains of fear broken, they now found happiness within each other. No matter how many battles, no matter how many injuries, there is still a light for the future stored for them.
Argus Beach
1 year later
Weiss is standing in front of the mirror wearing a white short dress. And a veil on her head. Her hair curled up. Wearing the necklace Neptune had given her in the festival. With White roses as a bouquet. A sparkling diamond headband attached to the veil. She was nervous on the big day. After months of dating, Neptune proposed to her and she accepts. Finally having the love of her life standing by her.
Although, there were a few obstacles, such as jobs for any huntsmen and huntresses to pay the bills. But it did not matter, as long as they have each other. Though it escalated too quickly, but it was worth it. To forget the past and live in one's own life. Weiss and Neptune tried to invite Whitley and Willow to their wedding. But only Willow showed up. As they also invited Winter, she didn't showed up either. Weiss is about to offer her younger brother to walk her down the aisle, but he still needs time to work things out with his sisters. And she was glad her father didn't appear, otherwise he might ruin it the next time he hires gunman.
Winter, I wish you could be here. I now found someone I could share my life with forever.
As for Neptune, 3 out of 4 of his older siblings have come. But Jupiter is nowhere to be found. According to his father, Jupiter couldn't come because he has things to sort out. But in Neptune's case, it was good closure that his brother is still alive. Ruby and Blake came into the bedroom to see Weiss and are in awed. Both are wearing bridesmaid dresses, with Ruby as a maid of honor. "Wow, Weiss! You look beautiful!" Squealed Ruby. Jumping in happiness two times. "Today's the day, and soon you and Neptune are going to live happily ever after!" Ruby sped around with speed of her semblance for excitement.
"Slow your horses, Ruby. We get it, I'm excited as much as you are." Giggled Blake. But there's somebody missing. Yang, Nora and Oscar Pine. Which reminds Blake. "I just wish they would just come and see this." She sighs.
"Yeah. Hey, guys, look. That eagle has been standing there. And there's a note." Weiss points out. And Ruby walks over to untie the note as the golden eagle flies away. She opens the note, it was from Yang.
Hey sis, sorry I cannot come. You know how things are. I already asked the Thunderbolts for some updates, and I'm glad they did anyway. And tell Weiss and Neptune congratulations.

Ruby is glad to hear from her sister again. But not in scrolls this time. "Looks like Yang have been keeping in touch with us, but let's be glad she is here to wish us luck." Said Ruby. And it turns out that Yang and Nora have been members of the Thunderbolts all along. Which is to their surprise. "I'm sure Yang will come around, after all, she is your big sister." Blake assure her.
Neptune is in a separate room dressed in a tux. He still have his goggles on, for his signature look. But Sun decides that it was not a good idea to wear those at the wedding. "Dude, I don't think it's necessary to wear these goggles today."
"Why not, I just like them anyway." They then burst to laughter. "Sorry, Sun. But standing in a large crowd makes me nervous." But Sun puts his hand on the shoulder and told him that it was just a ceremony. But there was something else he wants to spit out as leader of Team SSSNN. "Proud of you, man."
Neptune raised an eyebrow to his confusion. "For what?" He asked. And Sun blinks. "Duh, for conquering your fear, dude."
"It was thanks to you an Weiss that I made it this far." Neptune smiled on response to that comment. He then looks at the window to see everybody is at their seats. The bride hasn't walked in the ails just yet. He then turned back to Sun. "You ready?" Neptune fixed his tie one more time before walking out. "Dude, you know I am." Said Neptune.
As Neptune with the rest of Team SSSNN is standing in the aisle with Klein, standing next to his niece, who is performing the ceremony in exchanging vows, in front. Saturn walks Weiss down to the aisle. Neptune is in awe to see her smiling. Like a beautiful angel shining at the golden sunlight. As he lets her go, they held hands as they listen to Klein. Team RWBY, sans Yang, have been standing next to Weiss in the bride's side.
"We are gathered here today to join this man and this woman in the infinite and unbound. To cherish the union of Neptune Vasilias, and Weiss Schnee. For many years, these two families have been at war since the past 125 years. But today, they will be joined in this union." He then turned to Neptune. "Do you, Neptune Vasilias, take Weiss Schnee to be your lawfully wedded wife?" He asked. He then stared at her. Giving an enamored grin. "I do."
"Do you, Weiss Schnee, Take Neptune Vasilias to be your lawfully wedded husband?" Asked Klein. She returned that smile to Neptune, and she has the answer. "I do." Klarissa then gives the bride and groom the rings, first Neptune slides Weiss' ring into her index finger. "Now the vows shall be said." Klein announced. Then Weiss passes his ring into his finger.
"I, Neptune Vasilias, take Weiss Schnee, to be my beloved wife and partner. To fight our fears, to fight our burdens. To make our dreams a reality. Till the end." Vowed Neptune.
"And I, Weiss Schnee, take Neptune Vasilias to be my beloved husband. To fight our fears, to fight our burdens. To make our dreams a reality. Till the end." Vowed Weiss.
"I now pronounced you, husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
It came to the end as Neptune takes Weiss into his arms and cupped her cheek. Pressing his lips onto hers into a kiss. Their auras glowed at the infinite and unbound. They say that love can make auras glow. The Ocean's waves responded with a rising flow. Wowing everybody in front.
The crowd cheered. During the wedding reception, Neptune and Sun discussed with Saturn about burning Cascade's journal to not let it fall into the enemy's hands again. So they agreed as Sun lit a lighter and engulf it into flames. Meanwhile, Weiss has reunited briefly to her mother and former butler. Having a heartfelt conversation.
To Weiss and Neptune's surprise, both of their mothers have known each other for a long time. Which they have forget to tell them after a previous fiasco with Winter and Jupiter. Their mothers seemed to be happy that their son and daughter have been finding joy with one another. As they never thought of it before. But nevertheless, celebrate the wonderful memory. Then the bride and groom danced in a slow dance music. As Neptune have taken dance lessons from Jaune as he was taught by seven of his sisters. Pluto started to take interest in one of Jaune's sisters and flirted with them.
Much to the annoyance of Juno, who pulls him away. After all, she looks after him a lot considering he was the younger twin. Jupiter watches from a distance, proud of his brother being a grown man. And takes his leave. Saturn and Lydia welcomes Weiss into their family.
Willow immediately took a liking towards her new son-in-law. As she could see how much of a kind person Neptune is. She just wished her son, Whitely, have been more outgoing and fun compared to Neptune. But knows she cannot change him.
Saturn gets a call from his old friends, Taiyang Xiao Long and Qrow Branwen, while catching up with Mai and Choi. Since he was mourning Li Ren. Another good friend of his who offers wisdom in their academy days.
6 Years Later
Weiss is holding her newborn son with white hair while in the hospital. Her firstborn son is Tide, who has light blue hair like his father, Neptune, but also light blue eyes like his mother's. The baby boy cried while in his mother's arms. Ceres was the one who helped Weiss welcome her child into the world.
Tide is holding his father's hand after being invited in. While Lydia followed. There he and Neptune laid their eyes on the infant. "Tide, come meet your new brother, Tristan." Weiss said gently. Tristan then looks at his older brother, as he slowly ran his finger on his little cheek. Neptune becomes the first to hold his second son. "Hey there, little buddy. I'm your dad." He cooed. The infant boy then looked at his father and giggled.
Neptune then turned to his eldest son. As he glanced back. "Here, would you like to hold him too?" He asked. Tide's smiled appears in his expression as he nodded. Neptune carefully hands Tristan to Tide whole helping him support the head while wrapping his arms around the infant. "Look, Tristan, this is your big brother."
Tristan locked eyes on his brother and smiled at him. "Hi there, I can't wait to bring you home." Greeted Tide. Weiss smiled seeing her two sons taking the first step of brotherhood. "Tide, you're a big brother now. And you will set an example for him so that you both could grow up healthy and happily." Said Weiss. Neptune then leans to Weiss to kiss her. Then it was Lydia's turn to hold him.
"Oh my gosh. He's so adorable!" She held her in his arms. She then turned to her husband. "Look at this Saturn, we finally have two grandchildren!" Lydia cheered. While Saturn shook in amusement before holding Tristan.
8 years later
Twelve-year-old, Tide Vasilias, named after the Ocean's waves, who has light blue hair, with yellow goggles on. Ice blue eyes. Showing his younger siblings an old picture of two brothers.
4-year-old, Tristan Vasilias with white hair, and ocean blue eyes. And an adorable 2-year-old, Tristina Vasilias, also with aqua hair, and ice blue eyes. Sat next to their elder brother on the loveseat. Looking in amazement at the photograph. "Is that what Grandpa looks like when he was young?" Asked Tristan. And Tide nodded. "He looks like you, Daddy and Tristan, Tide." Said Tristina.
Tide chuckled. Waiting for their father to come home while their mother, Weiss, is contacting Lydia to see how her grandchildren are doing. At the same time, Willow also contacted her. She even admits that she finds Tristina adorable. But doesn't want her grandsons to be jealous. But nevertheless loves them all. Even from a distance. "Ooh! Look at Mommy in this picture! She looks beautiful in a yukata!" Squealed Tristina, looking at the picture of her mother and father at the Moon Festival. Tristan then walks over to his mother.
"Mommy, when is Daddy coming home?" Asked Tristan. Then Weiss turned to her son and replied, "You must love your father very much, didn't you? It's going to take a while before he finished the mission. But he's going to be back. I promise." Assured Weiss, and affectionately poked his nose. Then a knock on the door came. As Weiss have turned the door knob opened and it was her husband. "Hey, Snow Angel. I'm home." She then threw herself into his arms and kisses him on the cheek. "Welcome back, Darling. How's the mission?"
"A couple of bruises. But it went okay." He then kisses her on the lips, as his two toddler children came running towards him. "Daddy!" They shouted happily. "Hey there. Did you guys missed me?" Asked Neptune. Weiss parted from Neptune and the children tugged on their father as he hugs them back. The Tide followed. "Took you long enough, old man." He said, smiling. Despite that it was just a tease. Neptune didn't seem to mind anyway as he ruffled his eldest son's hair as a way to show some affection. Cause that's what Jupiter would call their father. "Oh, and look who I brought along too."
Behind Neptune is Saturn. Now and old man. Much to the toddlers' excitement. "Grandpa!" Yelled Tristan, excitedly. They let go of their father and jump on their grandfather for a greeting. "Grandpa!" Weiss and Neptune jumped, they know kids get excited, but also worried they might get too hyper. "Hey, how are my littles ones doing?" Laughed Saturn.
"Kids, go easy on your grandfather, please?" Weiss said gently. But Saturn doesn't mind. After all, he have long waited to spend some time with his grandchildren. Lydia is in a trip for a promotion in Vale to work closely with Ceres to search for medical frauds whenever she finds from foul play in hospitals, who would come and babysit the children on a day off.
Weiss and Neptune have lived peacefully in their lives. Even if that peace doesn't last forever. At least they can have the time to spend with their children. The moment Weiss gave birth to Tide. It was the lovable moment in their lives. However, fear have came back to them as this put Weiss into thoughts about her father. Fearing he might try to take away her children. So she discuss with Neptune with erasing Jacques Gele's name off their records to never mention the children of their awful maternal grandfather. So that no pain would be inflicted to them. But Tide was already aware of the truth, but promises his parents to never tell his younger siblings about it, for their safety.
Tide have started his training at the age of 6, he unlocked his semblance, Hydro Manipulation, a power that turns water into multiple forms of mist and ice. His father, Neptune have been a lovable and doting father to his children. Making his promise to his wife and children to never be apart from them and does the best he could to be there for them. Tide has been a loving big brother for both of his siblings, caring for them both. Like how his uncle Jupiter and aunt Winter have been to his parents. The also decided to hide the Schnee family bloodline for now, not wanting to put the children at risk. Cause one of them might possibly unlock their mother's glyphs, someday. Just not today.
Tristan and Tristina, now 17 and 15, are standing in front of the Ocean's temple. They had second thoughts about obtaining the moon stones from the temple. After hearing the story about the consequences about pulling the stones from their rightful place.
They still hold a map, marking the spot wehere there are copies of Cascade's journal. Next to the temple that holds the briefcase of files. Then a voice came from behind. "Hey you two! What were you thinking about sneaking out of the resistance base?!" They turned around to see their elder brother angry that they were out of sight.
"Aw come one, Tide! It was just a little peek, it's not such a big deal!" Complained Tristan. Tide crossed his arms in disappointment. Knowing his little brother, he would be a bit rebellious at times as he thought it would be cool to act like it. "Don't smart mouth me, bro! Do you have any idea how many Grimm I've been killing to find you guys?!" He scolded.
"Tide, he was just curious. Besides, we were just looking and found this journal." Defended their sister, Tristina. Before Tide could lecture them even further, he was cut off at the sight of the journal's copies. With Cascade's name on top.
"What are you...Wait, this is..." He then took the papers from Cascade's hands. But their moment was cut short as multiple Grimms invaded the area. Then they took out their weapons. And dashed forward against the creatures of Grimm. Tristina sped in her glyphs, killing off 4 Grimm. Tide have used a bottle of water to pour underneath the feet of Grimm. To turn the water into pointy icicles to pierce the Grimm from the ground. As for Tristan, he uses his spear, Glacier. And spirals it like a tornado to form a water cyclone to blow away the Grimm.

The next story will be called, "Battle of Remnant. Where the new generation struggles to travel back in time to defeat Salem by retrieving the four relics in the past before they all get into Salem's hands in order to unite them."
