Chapter 20: Much Ado About Modelling
It was afternoon around 1pm and all the campers are gathered and seated in front of the stage which appears to be different this time.
"It looks like the runaway for those fashion models..." Jen noticed as behind her, Duncan, Scott and Max are sharing a party-sized pack full of cheese-flavoured chips. "I once built a weapon out of a French horn and a few gimmicks and used it to destroy all the glasses in my school!" Max told his friends as they laughed. "I once put a kick-me sign on a juvenile officer and many of the bad boys and even the guards kicked butt on him!" Duncan told his tale as they laughed some more and ate more chips.

Near them, Ryan is feeling down over the last challenge when, "Here." Stephanie offered him a chilled Milo packet drink as he insert the straw in and started drinking. "How can this happen? Brick and I worked it out well. I-"
"Ryan. It's over. And naturally, everyone fails. Our team did lose sometimes and depending on our position, we have to do the vote outs." Stephanie spoke to him. "It's only a setback. Whatever happens, I know my big strong man will rise up for the challenge." Stephanie spoke to her boyfriend as she sipped her Milo packet drink.
Near them, Beth and Lindsay are chatting while Justin is checking his looks with his mirror when Chris appeared on stage with Chef wearing a dress. "Hello campers! Let's get today's challenge started! First of all, do you all have a taste of fashion?"
"I do Kyle!" Lindsay called out. "It's Chris!" He called in annoyance. "OMG! Is today's challenge fashionable in a way that fashion is involved?" Jen asked. "Absolutely! Today's challenge will be a fashion show. 3 rounds of walking on the runaway while posing and displaying your fashionable apparels. Themes will be casual, formal and every guy's favourite, swimsuit. I myself along with 2 other people will be the judges and depending on the styles and performance, we'll do the ratings. As usual, losing team will throw someone out of the island."
"One question, who are the other 2 judges that will be with you?" Tom asked. "I was coming to that." Chris replied as he looked to his right. "Kelly! Dwayne! You may come out now!"

On stage, Kelly and Dwayne did show up as Taylor and Junior gasped in horror. "Ha! Ha! That's your dad? He sure is a stupid old man! I saw him being so damn stupid in the race!" Scott mocked in amusement as some of the guys laughed as Dwayne saw his son and waved at him. Junior waved back still feeling embarrassed as the laughing continues on.
And for Taylor, "So that's your mom? Wow!" Heather made her way up on stage to meet Kelly and shook her hand immediately. "Nice to meet you! I'm your daughter's best friend!" She greeted but earned some scowls from some of the other girls. "I mean, I'm one of your daughter's best friends." She corrected herself as, "Taylor! I'm impressed on how you fared in this show! And you even made some new friends!" Kelly exclaimed. "Yeah...uh...thanks?" Taylor replied and then, she thought of something. "Chris! How did you know my mom!?"
"Yeah! How did you know my dad?!" Junior asked as the lad also went onstage. "Well...it's a long story but we were in the same high school." Chris began shocking him. "Oh yes! Chris and I went way back then for we were best buddies! We did our homework together, we ate lunch together and in every class, we're together!" Dwayne revealed surprising and amazing his son.
"And what about my mom?" Taylor asked. "Right. I dated her for a year after my high school graduation." Chris replied shocking her completely to the point her eyes went wide in horror.

Junior: "How come my dad never told me his past?! No wonder he got me hooked up to watch all the seasons of Total Drama!" (He then thought of something else) "On the other hand, it was worth it since I'm in the show and I'm still safe from elimination."

"Alright enough history between me and your parents, you all got a challenge to do! So listen up! Each teams selects only one chick in their team to do the fashion runaways in other words, be the model. The rest help out in the styles and whatever fashion stuff you all know. You all have plenty of time to do this and around 4pm, we begin. Now GTFO NOW!" Chris ordered as all left the stage.
Chris: "You guys wanna have a cup of tea or coffee?"
Dwayne: "Sure! Like old times!"
Kelly: "Why not?"
And now...
Outside the mammoth's cabin, Jen opened her laptop and showed everyone the fashion designs. "Neat." said Justin. "Yes indeed. A fashion blogger with experience will be a great asset for this challenge." said Topher. "Right! Let's get to it. So which girl will be modelling?" Jen asked.
"I vote my girl!" Geoff declared "Count me in!" said Chet. "My vote goes to Bridgette!" said Lorenzo. "I'll just give my vote also." said Alejandro and the other guys all voted too surprising Bridgette as, "Alright then! Bridgette, you're on stage for this one!" Jen declared as the guys cheered. "Uh...I'm not so sure." She replied surprising everyone. "I know little of the fashion, modelling and the shows they host. Therefore...I think Dakota would be more suitable for this one." This was surprising to everyone but still, "Alright then. All in favour for Dakota to do the challenge, thumbs up." Alejandro ordered and everyone gave him the thumbs up. "Very well! Dakota, you're on the stage for this one!" Jen declared and she was amazed.

"Yeah! Positive!" Trent replied giving her a thumbs up. She couldn't help but smile at him so, "As long as you don't make me wear pink or anything bright, I'll vouch for this."
Now that it's settled, the wolves are next and they're gathered at one of the picnic tables. "I want to go!" said Kitty. "No way! I'm going on stage!" Taylor stated. "I'll give it a shot!" Sammy vouched as the girls started to argue when, "You know what mates? Rock, paper, scissors to whichever girl beats her rivals will be on the runway." Jasmine suggested. The girls agreed and used the game and the result? "Yes I won!" Sammy cheered. "Great! Now we someone with experience in fashion." Jasmine stated as Anne Maria raised her eyebrow with a smile.

And for the ravens, "Tom was a fashion blogger like his partner Jen so this guy will use his experience to assist us in the challenge." said Carrie. "Right. First, I need a female volunteer to go onstage." Tom requested. "I'll go. Besides, I have the looks and I'm popular." Heather boasted. "Nope and I apologize but you're not the type to go on stage for this one." Tom replied. "No offense also but I've seen how you behaved in all the seasons you've participated and thus, you're unsuitable for this one."

While the teams are discussing, Chris arrived with Kelly and Dwayne each wheeling in a long rack full of dresses, outfits and swimsuits all hung on hangers. "Listen up campers! Here are the outfits all categorized according to what I've mentioned just now during briefing. Consider it a handicap provided by Kelly to help assist in the modelling. Have fun!"
"Awesome!" said Carrie as all the girls went to check out the outfits while the guys just watched. And then, the girls returned with a mixture of outfits and with that, preparations are on the way!
From the mammoths, Jen is examining each outfit deciding which one is the best based on the category while Bridgette, Emma and Sky assisted her as they helped Dakota with the fittings and measurements.
From the tortoises, Beth did her best to use whatever knowledge she knows to give Gwen the style for she got Gwen the colours that she wanted and assisting her are Trent and Leshawna as they helped in the fittings. During that, "You appeared to be intrigued with your ex I see?" Leshawna noticed. "Uh...that I wish I knew..." Trent replied. "C'mon boy! She's single again and it doesn't hurt to patch it up again!" She encouraged the cool guy as, "Can someone get me some perfume?" Beth called out to them as Leshawna went to get her some.
From the wolves, Sammy had fun trying out different outfits while Anne Maria with the help from Taylor, Kitty, Dawn and Jasmine did their best to make her look perfect. "Which earrings should she wear? The ruby ones or the turquoise ones?" Kitty asked. "The aura shows me that the turquoise ones are of purer value." Dawn answered
And from the ravens, Lindsay had so much fun with the modelling as she posed and blew kisses impressing Tom as he judged and made his decisions while Carrie and Zoey assisted him to help her with the fittings.
Speaking of which, those that are not helping out, they're seen chilling in their cabins. Some took naps, others used their phones and so on.
Around 4pm...
Everyone is gathered back as they sat in front of the stage. Those doing the runway and those assisting them went onstage to get ready. Chris, Kelly and Dwayne are seated at the front being the judges like the host mentioned and Chef will be the commentator and he's wearing a dress. "Oh my...do you have to make your chef wear this?" Kelly asked as she and Dwayne burst out laughing. "As long as I pay him good, he'll do it without shame." Chris replied when, "Hey! Why is there a plane in the sky?!"
Yup, a plane flew by and 4 paparazzi photographers parachuted down and landed before the judges. "What the? Those are the guys that I kicked out of my island twice or thrice in season 4 and to mentions Dakota's " Chris recognized. "What? You do realized those people work for me?" Kelly revealed and Chris's mouth dropped.

Dakota: "That's right! These guys work for me! My daddy hired them from Kelly in person! I do not know who she was until now. Which makes me understand better!"

On stage, "And now, it's time to bring in our attractive models. First theme will be casual! We'll start with the mammoths, followed by the tortoises, wolves and ravens! Begin!" Chef spoke for he'll introduce the girls one by one as he stepped aside and had Beardo do the music. For the paparazzi, Kelly has them under control.

Music is being played as first, Dakota walked on the runway dressed in a red summer floral dress. She also wore high heels and has her sunglasses on. Once she reached the end, she posed and blew kisses. "If Sam was here, he'll go bananas." Cody thought as the paparazzi took plenty of pictures and after that, she walked back swaying a bit as the judges are most impressed.
After her, Gwen walked next wearing a black blouse with teal shorts enough to expose her curvy legs and short high heels. "Looks gloomy..." Kelly thought as at the audience, Cody and Trent were in awe while Ennui and Crimson gave her the thumbs up. Even Loki and Hades nodded in approval.
Then, Sammy walked in wearing a green summer dress and short high heels. She also has earrings and bracelets on her as she posed earning adorations from some guys especially Topher who fainted.
And finally, Lindsay catwalked her way through wearing a sexy pink crop top with a black jacket and a light pink mini-skirt. A lot of guys wooed at this especially Tyler who started acting like a dog at the sight of his hot girl posing sexy. After that, she catwalked her way back to the backstage.
Round 1 is over as Chris called for the 4 girls and made an announcement. "Not bad for the first one. Now let's see how you models can impress us in the second round. But first, 5 minute break and during that, prep yourselves."
During the 5 minute break, an intern wheeled in a popcorn machine and followed by another wheeling in a cooler full of soda as, "Whoa! Popcorn and soda! My kind of snack!" Devin cheered as many of the guys scrambled their way to get some of the delicious snack. Owen got 5 boxes of popcorn, Junior got one to share with Noah and Ezekiel and they got sodas for themselves and for him, the stepbrothers and rockers sat together to eat and drink and Shawn shared his popcorn with Jasmine while the triple D gorged on their snacks together while laughing. And for those at the backstage, they prepped their respective models.
5 minutes is up and thus, the second round begins and it starts with Dakota wearing a purple prom dress with a necklace as she posed for fun. "This is getting good." She thought and she's done.
After her, Gwen walked in wearing a dark red dress with a white ribbon tied around her waste. "Bloody hot..." Ennui described in his monotone and emotionless voice. "You agree Trent?" He was too stunned at this to the point he spilt his soda on Cody.
Then, Sammy catwalked on wearing an violet evening dress with frilled shoulder straps and the bottom trim frilled. "Wow...it's like going to prom." She thought as the paparazzi took her pics and Topher gave her the thumbs up. She smiled and waved at him and after that, she walked back to the backstage
Lastly, Lindsay and when she walked on the runway, all were amazed at her dress. A one shoulder ruffled sky blue dress with a black belt around her waist with high heels. "This is so hot!" Scott exclaimed. "The design is unique!" said Dave. "Tell me about it." Cameron exclaimed as more comments filled the air about Lindsay. Even Chris and Dwayne gave each other the fist bump while Kelly took down notes about her and the paparazzi took plenty of pics.
Round 2 is over and another 5 minute break as, "The final round. This is what all the guys have been waiting for so stay tuned!" Chris announced as many of the guys cheered and whistled. At the backstage, Heather for some reason sneaked in. She saw her team discussing and seeing Tom angered her and his words from just now still rang through her ears. As she looked around, "What's this?" She saw a spray can which appeared to have an image of a locust. "Must be one of Chef's toys or something." She thought as she read the label and an evil smile appeared on her face. "This is for the words that you said to me Tom!" She then made her move in secret.
Break time is over and, "Okay! Round 3 here we go! Yeah you guys wanna see it do ya? Ha! Half of you even put your hands in your pants!" Chef announced and laughed. Also, those helping the models are seated with the audience for they've prepped the girls early

And there they have it. Round 3 as the music plays and Dakota catwalked her way through and she wore a hot pink and blood red striped bandeau bikini as many males whistled in excitement. She posed and blew kisses enjoying the fame she's receiving as the paparazzi took as much photos as they can. Once done, she catwalked her way back.
After her, Gwen emerged wearing a black and grey plaid bandeau bikini as the paparazzi also took plenty of pics and Trent was too speechless upon seeing it.

Next up is Sammy wearing an interesting bandeau bikini in which the top is blue green with yellow star prints and the bottom is yellow green with red crescent prints and it comes with a translucent yellow skirt. "Ooh. Stylish and attractive." Chris thought as he and Dwayne gave each other the thumbs up leaving the paparazzi to take more pics and Topher is mesmerized by her beauty.
And finally, Lindsay and she looks like a goddess to all the males for her swimsuit is also a bandeau bikini except her top exposed her cleavage slightly and altogether, it's a sea green mini bikini. "This is getting better..." Tyler exclaimed in excitement while Heather waited. "It should take effect soon..." She thought when buzzing was heard. "Perfect."
Now this buzzing is unusual as all heard it. "Weird. I thought Chef worked on the insect extermination." said Chris when suddenly, locusts flew in and went to Lindsay! She screamed in horror as they covered her swimsuit and seconds later, they flew off. "Wow...I thought they might-"
"MAMAMIA! THIS IS THE BEST!" Tyler shouted in excitement and fainted with a nosebleed. Confused, Lindsay looked down and, "EEEEEEEEEEEEK!"
It turns out a wardrobe malfunction took place and it left her completely bare as she covered herself and the entire audience is in a crazed uproar from her sight. Devin covered Junior's eyes quickly and in time but was lost at the bare sight and Carrie seeing this slapped his face. Ryan was the next and Stephanie punched his face. And then, Noah was thunderstruck so Emma slapped his face twice on both sides, Geoff gasped and Bridgette did the same thing like what Emma did to her boyfriend and the same thing happened between Mike and Zoey, Shawn and Jasmine and Sammy and Topher. On the other, Harold smiled while gawking and Leshawna took notice of that she locked him with her arms and wrestled him. Crimson covered Ennui's eyes while Loki and Hades went bananas at the hot sight while Josee gave Jacques a beating when he whistled at the sight. Even Heather attacked Alejandro on his kiwis for he did the same thing as what Jacques did and during that, "Gee Tom, so much for your expertise in the fashion!" She exclaimed for he too saw it but was too shocked to understand why and how it happened. For the rest of the guys...well, mixed reactions. And the girls that are single just hid their faces.

As for Lindsay, she was still embarrassed but Chef saved her by wrapping her with a towel he found at the backstage and took her away quickly. That, also ended the uproar though during that, Chris was laughing non-stop from everyone's reactions. "WAHAHAHAHA! This is too priceless! AHAHAHAHA!" He laughed a bit and then got serious. "But in the rules of the fashion shows, indecent exposure is strictly prohibited so the ravens are disqualified."
This really shocked them and, "Wow, nice job Tom! I don't how it happened while you're using your fashion knowledge but thanks a lot!" Heather commented mockingly and he's still too shocked from just now as some of his teammates stared at him.
Also with the raven's disqualification, the challenge is over as Chris went onstage. "The judges and I discussed and concluded our winner." He began as he took out a envelope and opened it. All watched as Chris took out the paper...

"The mammoths win the challenge!" He declared. All cheered upon hearing this. "It's all thanks to Jen and Dakota!" Bridgette called out as the team carried the fashion blogger and fame monger in the air as they cheered on. "For your reward, Kelly will get the hot chicks in your team to photoshoot for her upcoming limited edition fashion magazine. You girls will be famous through this!" Chris revealed as they squealed in excitement. "For the guys, Dwayne and I have ordered MacDonnell's to be delivered and dropped at the camp! Consider it your early dinner." Chris revealed as a helicopter flew in with a claw below holding a crate as it reeled down and left the crate on the ground at camp. "Don't worry, paid by the both of us." Chris added as, "FOOD! GLORIOUS FOOD!" Owen shouted as he and all the guys ran back to camp to feast on their reward.
"The wolves go second and the tortoises third. But sorry, no rewards." He stated as they sulked over it. "And finally, due to the wardrobe malfunction which caused the raven's loss. I'll see you guys tonight." Chris then dismissed everyone as, "Well Chris we got to get going! Thanks for inviting us!" Dwayne told him. "Our time here is so enjoyable! By the way, can you please relay this message to my daughter." Kelly handed him a note. "Oh yes! One for my son too." Dwayne handed him a note too as, "I'll relay your messages to your kids! I must say they did good so far. Alright, Chef is prepping the helicopter to send you off and it's at your east. See you again!" Chris said his goodbye as Kelly and Dwayne departed from the island including the paparazzi for they're satisfied with the huge amount of photos taken today. "Ah...such good memories..." He thought with a smile.
That night...
The ravens are gathered for the elimination ceremony again as Chris is seen holding a plate which has 14 marshmallows. "You guys lost the last challenge and today, again." Chris began. "Alright. Name calling time. Heather." He threw the marshmallow to her and she caught it. "Zoey and Carrie." The 2 girls got their marshmallows followed by Noah, Junior, Ezekiel and Ryan. "Max, Stephanie." Chris threw the marshmallows as Max opened his mouth to let it fly inside while Stephanie caught it with her hands. After that, Devin, Crimson, Sanders and Ellody got theirs leaving Tom and Lindsay as the bottom 2.
"Both of you entered the fashion challenge but in an embarrassing way, disqualification was issued. Okay, the final marshmallow goes to..."
Tom looked left and right while Lindsay cringed in fear a bit...

"It's Tom and it's not your fault, I may have gotten carried away or soemthing. I deserve it." He replied as Heather who was sitting behind her team smirked in satisfaction. "Oh well tell you what Tan, I'll follow your blog! You have the link?"
Amazed, Tom took out his phone and sent the link to Lindsay, she soon took her phone out and found it. Due to the island's strong internet connection, she opened the link and followed the blog.
"Thanks Lindsay. Your support for the blog is really great! Thanks again and remember, it's Tom."
