Naomi Solace, Will's mother, was a beautiful clear sighted blonde woman with pale blue eyes that were different from her son's sky blue ones. Everyone knew she was the mother of one of Apollo's favorite children. That she was also off limits to any other god who was not Apollo.
But that didn't stop the goddess of love from messing with her love life. Well not only hers, but Bruce Wayne's love life as well. Aphrodite dared not to mess with Percy's love life as the daughter of Poseidon would explode.
Naomi lived in metropolis all her life. That's where he met her. Bruce was in metropolis searching for his runaway rogue named "The Joker" while seemingly making a "deal" with Lex Luther.
Bruce was having a lunch date with Percy. They were walking down the street with ice cream cones in hand when he bumped into Naomi. Percy knew Aphrodite was at work when the two adults locked eyes.

The demigoddess of the sea smiled widely and brightly. She wanted her "uncle" to have love in his life. Percy told the love goddess that she wanted this relationship to work, to last. And Aphrodite agreed with her nephew's daughter.
Aphrodite put all her power into making sure Naomi and Bruce were romantically together in the future.
"I'm Naomi Solace." She said with a shy little smile and a blush creeping up her cheeks
Bruce recognized her surname. He had met a Will Solace a few times since the year previous. Percy liked to bring her friends from Camp Half Blood over to his house a lot.
"And I am Bruce Wayne." Bruce said as he straightened up his back just like when he had met Percy's birth father Poseidon a few months ago
Neither Naomi nor Bruce never notice that Percy had walked off. Percy walked over to where her friend had hidden himself. But not well enough if Percy found him. Percy laughed and shook her head as she walked up.
"What in the name of Hades is going on over there?" Will asked pointing to his mother and Bruce
"Bruce and your mother are soulmates." Percy said with one of the biggest smiles Will had ever seen on his friends face
"And how do you know that?" The son of Apollo asked with his dirty blonde eyebrow raised
"Aphrodite told me." Percy said smugly
Will knew Percy had a weird relationship with the gods. Especially with Aphrodite, Ares, Hestia, Hephaestus and Hera. The only normal one was with Artemis.
And said goddess of the hunt has been trying mercilessly to get Percy to join the hunters. But the moon goddess knew the Amazonian blood that flowed through her cousin's veins over ruled her plea.
The two demigods continued to talk as they waited for Naomi and Bruce. They loved messing around with each other. Soon the blonde and brunette walked up to the kids they were with.
"What are you two up too?" Bruce asked
"Nothing." Will and Percy said in unison
"Yeah right. Tell me now Persephone Krínos Kent." Bruce demanded
"Ooh, full name. Not good." Will said looking to his friend
"Shut up. Or I'll tell your father that you can not be his favorite child anymore." Percy said
"You would not." Will growled out
"Oh yes I would William Andrew Solace. Apollo likes me. No scratch that. Apollo loves me." Percy said with a big smile while she flicked Will's nose
Will growled at the girl he viewed as an older sister. But the son of Apollo knew that the sea princess loved pranking people. Even if it meant telling others about said people she was pranking.
Percy turned back to Bruce and Naomi to answer the billionaire. Her shoulder length curly green and black hair swishing with the movement of her head. Percy loved her hair short. It helped with her fighting.
Unlike her mother's own hair preferences. Dianna was used to long hair when she fought. But she understood her daughter wanting shorter hair.
"Really Bruce. It's nothing. Will and I were just talking. And that's it." Percy said
Bruce gave Percy a look. The raven haired girl groaned
"You know I don't date guys from Camp." Percy said
"Yeah. Right." Bruce droned
"If I was, don't you think I would have said yes to Roy when he asked me out? Or gone out with Lee Fletcher?" Percy asked
Bruce knew of Lee Fletcher's feelings for the daughter of Poseidon. Everyone, including Percy, did. It was obvious because of how he acted around the green eyed girl. But Lee knew Percy only loved him as a friend.
Bruce turned to Naomi. There was a look of love in his dark brown eyes. Will finally believed Percy. He knew Aphrodite was at work.
Will also knew there was a possibility that Bruce would be his stepfather. And he could live with that. Bruce was a really good person, especially to the demigods that constantly came through his door of Wayne Manor.
Bruce couldn't tell you how many times a demigod came into his home for immediate medical attention. They liked how they could use Alfred, a retired Royal military medic, till they could go to an Apollo kid, like Lee or Will. Or Lord Apollo himself if he's available and willing.
"Are we still on for dinner tonight?" Bruce asked
Naomi smiled to Bruce.
"Yeah. I'll see you at seven." Naomi said
Naomi kissed Bruce on the cheek and walked off. Will looked to Bruce with a stern look on his face.
"If you hurt my mother, I'll come after you. And after I'm done with you, even my father can't heal you." Will said
Will then stormed away and went after his mother. Bruce had a feeling that the kids in the Apollo cabin were getting self esteem and fighting lessons from Roy and Percy. Well, Percy mostly as she has been getting fighting lessons from the Amazons and her two brothers along with the guards of Atlantis.
That's not even mentioning the magic lessons she is getting from her sister-in-law Mrea, Zatara and Alabaster Torrington a son of Hecate. Alabaster has always been by Percy's side. Through thick and thin. He even refused to join the titans because of his girl.
They had met years ago when they both started at Metropolis Preparatory for elementary school. That's when Alabaster started to call Percy his girl. Even if she wouldn't date him because he goes to camp.
Alabaster understood that because he wasn't attracted to girls, he was attracted to his own gender. He was dating Ethan Nakamura, a son of Nemesis. Alabaster had even convinced Ethan not to join Luke and the titans.
Alabaster always enchanted things like bags for her. He even made her some protection charms that she wears everywhere everyday. Some of the spells Alabaster has in his homemade composition spell book were because Percy challenged him to do better.
Percy walked down the street towards the Daily Planet. Bruce followed Percy. He wanted answers about the look he saw before she left him with Naomi.
"You knew. You knew this whole time that I was going to ask her out." Bruce said
"Yep." Percy said popping the 'p'
"How? How did you find out?" Bruce asked
"I have my ways." Percy said looking over her shoulder with an evil little smirk on her lips before turning back to face the road ahead
"You mean Lady Aphrodite told you?" Bruce asked with an eyebrow raised
Bruce knew it had to be her. When he found out about the gods, the goddess of love and beauty had promised to keep making him break up with girls till he found his soulmate.
"I'm not saying anything of the sort." Percy said in defiance
They continued to walk as Bruce tried really hard to get Percy to say, 'Yes Bruce, it was Aphrodite.' But that wasn't ever going to happen. Percy was the most stubborn person Bruce had ever met. But he was also really stubborn.
Percy was taught by the people around her to never give up. To never back down from a fight. To always stand her ground whenever someone defied her. Even in an argument against someone, like Bruce.
Soon the duo got to a little trinket shop next to the entrance of the Daily Planet. It was one of Percy's all time favorite shops in Metropolis. Percy decided to get somethings for few of her friends birthdays that were coming up. Both Salina and Charles loved the things Percy got them.
Especially Charles. Seeing as Percy always got him a trinket or a toy that was in need of fixing. The dark skinned son of Hephaestus loved to work with his hands. Maybe that's why Selina was so in love with the tinker.
That he was passionate about what he did and how he did it. Charles liked to make or fix toys to donate to a nearby children's hospital at Christmas. Leo started to help his elder brother once he found out why.
Bruce soon left to get ready so he could be on time to pick Naomi up for dinner. He didn't want to give Naomi the wrong impression, Bruce knew Percy was able to take care of herself.
Bruce was nervous. This was the first date he had in s while.
"Nervous?" A voice behind Bruce asked
Bruce turned around to see it was Lady Aphrodite. The Goddess of love, beauty and sexuality.
"Yeah I am." Bruce said
"It's going to be fine Bruce. From now on the only thing I'm doing with your love life is making sure your relationship with Naomi lasts." Aphrodite said
The goddess soon left with Bruce knowing that she had told Percy. And Percy was just messing with him.
