Everyone whistled on and chanted to them 'kiss' 'kiss' 'kiss'.

Lily blushed and then got on her shoes and kissed Rufus' cheek.

She broke the embrace and Rufus put his arm around her neck and they all went home.

Finally, Lily was back really home.

This time she made sure it was for good.

Present,

Everything was back to normal now.

Bass-Humphrey-Archibald-VDW was having a dinner tonight for Lily's return.

The table just like which is set for Thanksgiving, was set up at the Milan.

Lily was sitting at one end of the host table with Rufus and Eric her sides.

Then Nate and Serena, Chuck and Blair, Dan and Henry and lastly Scott and Jenny, everyone sitting in perpendicular.

Everyone was engaged in talk with one another till Serena stood up and clicked her champagne glass to get everyone's attention.

"Hey everyone!" Serena called out.

Everyone looked onto her.

"So today was a great success and Mom, we love you and we want you to know we'll never let anything happen to you. Here, here" Serena announced.

Then everyone clicked their glasses with one another.

Scott then stood up. "A very welcome back to home, Lily. We hope you never experience it, ever. Cheers!"

"Cheers!" Everyone together said and drank up.

Lily then stoop up.

"Thank you everyone, for your efforts. I mean everyone I know it might have been a very difficult task to find the witness that too, three of them."

Lily said smiling and everyone smiled back.

They hadn't told Lily all the truth. It was better that way. And hey what she didn't know, didn't hurt her, the thing was she got out.

Everyone did a pact to only tell if she asked very seriously.

Rufus smiled and looked on to her.

Lily meet his gaze and smiled back.

The food was very good.

They had ordered from Chef Marvo.

It was all exquisite.

From ribs to bolognese and the main dessert Creme Bruĺee.

Everyone had a great time.

Nate and Serena left first in a hurry.

Dan left after meeting Lily again and telling her he's happy she's out.

Chuck and Blair stayed till Henry got tired and fell asleep playing in Lily's lap and talking with her.

Jenny and Scott went next. Rufus told them to stay at his place.

Finally, Eric was leaving.

"Mom, I'm really glad you're not there, we all were so worried." Eric said as he hugged Lily.

Lily hugged back, closing her eyes and smiling.

"I'm glad too Eric, it was all because of all everyone's efforts." She said pulling back and stroking his cheek.

She had so many good people with her. Always with her.

"Rufus, it's all your doing thank you so much for the help, we are indebted to you." Eric turned to Rufus.

"Oh, there's nothing I wouldn't do to help your Mom."

"OK, so I have a morning flight. I'll better go and sleep now."

Eric said and went to his old room.

"And remember your room is just above mine!" Eric said without turning back, teasing them, leaving Lily red in her cheeks.

"It was one time, but he doesn't let it go!"

Lily said, turned to Rufus, brushing her hands from his arms to the back of his neck and letting them stay there. Rufus' hands went to her waist.

"Admit it, we were, infact you were very loud that night." Rufus teased her.

"What can I say? You have that effect on me." Lily said licking her lips, her gaze on his lips and then back to his eyes.

Rufus leaned in slowly, and took her lower lip and sucked on it.

Lily moaned and let him do what he wants.

They wanted each other. So much.

They always had this energy, so much energy between them that, drew them to each other and let them get crazy.

Rufus deepened the kiss as he let his tongue poking his lower lip, seeking entrance.

Rufus backed her onto the kitchen counter and Lily hoped onto it.

Their hands roaming on each other's body, remembering the spots and favorites. It was like reading a map that you had memorized after long time.

"It is to me. I said I love you more and that's it." Lily pouts back and goes to biting his earlobe. Another weak spot of Rufus.

"Lil. Come on, that's, oh God, that's not fair!" Rufus says moaning.

"Say it then." Lily goes and pops open his dress pant button and lightly strokes him through his boxers.

Rufus blocks his loud moan with a throw pillow on the couch.

They don't want Eric catching them or making him hear them that will traumatize him forever from them.

Lily says with a sparkle in her eye.

"Oh, my love you're gonna lose for sure. I'm incredible at this." Rufus says as he pulls away completely and sits back on the couch and help Lily up.

"If I remember correctly almost 20 years you lost to me on this bet." Lily teases him.

"That was 20 years ago, the practice I've got these years has helped me." Rufus jokes.

Lily's smile drops a bit as he says practice.

Rufus notices.

"Hey, I'm just joking you know."

"What were you thinking anyway, and what the hell happened on 17 July that made you sleep with 18 year old models."

Rufus replies." It's called a mid life crisis. And I missed you."

Lily soften is bit. She brings her hand and strokes his cheek.

"I missed you too. So much." She pecks hips.

"Mhmm. So much. Me too Lil. They were just flings and distractions. My third marriage had failed and then there were these interns and you know they showed interest and it got leaked." Rufus says uncomfortably.

"Happens, lord knows I have tried to y replace you with everyone."

Lily says smiling.

"Oh I know that."

" Do you?"

Rufus kisses her again. " Mhm I do."

Lily chuckles and keeps her head on his chest as he wraps an arm around her.

"It's late. You should be in bed, I'll take you to bed. Come on." Rufus says as he is rubbing her arms.

"But that will mean you'll have to go." Lily pouts.

"Lily, you know we just made a bet."

Rufus chuckles.

"Fuck that. I want you to hold me. At least for tonight. Let's start that bet tomorrow. Please Rufus, I don't want to be alone. We both are adults we can handle it."

Rufus hesitates first but then agrees.

"OK but just for tonight." Rufus agrees.

Rufus takes her up in his arms and carries her to her bedroom. She smiles in his arms.

He lays her down and then takes his own shoes,sock and suit jacket off and gets in bed.

Lily goes in her walk in closet and puts on a t shirt and joggers pants.

"You must be uncomfortable in those clothes. Come here, take these." She calls him in the closet.

Rufus comes in and Lily hands him his old grey and white checks plaid shirt with his track pants.

Rufus stares at her.

"What? You forget them here when you moved out. And well I didn't have have the heart to give them back so I kept it to myself." She answers neutrally.

Rufus just shakes his head and goes in the bathroom to change.

Lily bites her lower lip.

She kept them coz she liked to wear his shirt time to time to remind herself that their marriage wasn't just a dream and that, it was real.

Rufus comes out looking very different from what he always looks nowadays.

She almost forgot how hot he looked in plaid, now that he only wears suits and formal shirts.

There's just something about him in plaid that hots her up.

Rufus gets in the bed and gestures for Lily to hop in.

She gets in and snuggles closely to Rufus.

She puts her head on his chest and Rufus puts his arms around and they drift off to sleep.

Mean while,

William and Ivy are released out.

Lola picks them up.

" You two had one job! One! And you couldn't even do that!"

Carol scolds them through the phone.

"They got away like always! What could we have done they're always like that!" Ivy chided.

"OK whatever now onto the plan B. That better go well or I'm gonna be out and kick your ass!" Carol with that cuts the call.

Lily wakes smelling the wonderful Hugo Boss Selection cologne coming from the person behind her.

During the night Rufus and Lily had shifted in position.

They were on their backs and Rufus was behind Lily, had his arm on her, their hands intertwined.

Lily slowly turned around and looked onto the guy sleeping beside her and smiled.

She stroked his cheek, not able to resist his cuteness.

Well he has been always been cute sleeping or not.

Rufus moaned a bit and slowly opened his hazel eyes to find green ones staring back at him and smiled.

"Good morning, Lil." He said in his morning rough sexy voice.

"Good morning indeed." Lily answered and leaned to kiss him.

He smiled and kissed her back happily.

They got interputted by the vibration of Rufus' iPhone on the bedside table.

"Let it ring." Lily said and kissed him again.

Like he could ever say to no to her, Rufus continued kissing her.

The phone vibrated again. This time Rufus broke the kiss and checked his phone. It was Parker, probably calling why isn't he at Flatrion.

"Urgh, Rufus don't, noooo. Come back it was such a good morning."

"It's Parker Lily, it might be important."

Rufus replied.

"More important than me?" Lily used his pointer finger and turned his face towards her, giving her best doe eyed expression.

"Never." He left his phone and started kissing her again.

But the damn phone rang again.

"God! Isn't there an off button for that! Rufus, no, please."

"Let me take it and then he'll leave us alone."

Lily pouted and acted she's mad and folded her arms as Rufus picked up the phone.

"Yes, Parker I'm not home." He looked onto Lily and gave his cute boyish grin.

It broke a smile on Lily's face.

He then took her hand and intertwined it with his and kissed her hand.

"Yes, I'll be there in uhm..." He looked onto to Lily.

"In an hour?" She shook her head no.

"2?" She said no again.

"OK you know what? Make that the whole day. I am overdue for a leave anyway."

She smiled and Rufus turned his phone off and kissed her.

She brought her hand up to his cheek and kissed him back.

After a while they broke apart.

"So you're mine for the whole day? God I'll be bored." She teases him.

"OK, if you're bored I'll go to work then."

He acts like he's getting up but Lily pulls him back and straddles him.

"Oh no, I'll be bored more then."

"But you just-"

"Rufus! Shut up!"

Rufus smirked.

Lily leaned down and pecked his lips.

"Hmm, as much I like to do this. I'm hungry." Lily said.

"Mhmm. Me too. Let's get some breakfast. I know a great place."

"No you're cooking. I missed your waffles and I'm carving for them."

Lily says getting off the bed and going to the bathroom.

"Lil, it has so much glutton!"

Lily backtracked and looked from the bathroom door frame.

"You? Rufus Humphrey are talking about waffles as in too much glutton?! Such weird combination."

Rufus sighs.

"They have too much calories too. In order for me to to be, well me, hot and sexy, I have to sacrifice and over the years I've realized that. Let's get something healthier."

Rufus replies as he changes back to his last night's dark blue Armani suit.

"Either that or I'm cooking." Lily retorts.

Rufus shudders at that thought.

"Alright, alright I'm cooking, we can't let this apartment burn down." Rufus jokes.

Lily comes out and glares at Rufus.

" FYI, Mr Humphrey, I'm perfectly capable of macaroni pasta, that too which tastes great, which I have learned from these past years in the assistance of your son."

Lily mocks him.

"I'm gonna take a shower, you go down and make waffles." Lily says as she leaves for her shower.

"Not inviting me?" Rufus asks but heads down to make waffles.

He knows when Lily's really hungry she acts crazy.

He has experience.

The smell of fresh waffles waters Lily's mouth as she heads down the stairs.

She sees Eric and Rufus engaged in a conversation.

"What she doesn't know won't hurt her, Eric." She hears from Rufus.

"What won't?" Lily questions.

They snap their head towards her and stammer a bit.

"Uhm, nothing Lil, just something about uhm just nothing for you to worry." Rufus replies.

She narrows her eyes.

"I thought it will be different this time. We don't keep secrets Rufus, we promised." Lily says as she rounds up and sits on one of the bar stools.

There's waffles, bagels, freshly cut fruits and some orange juice.

Rufus quickly comes and sits beside her.

"It is. I'm not hiding anything from you!"

Rufus pleads as he puts a strand of her hair behind her.

"OK wait pause, are you two-" Eric interrupts.

"Yes, we're, but don't tell anyone Eric, we're trying to be low key this time and take it slowly." Rufus replies with a smile and looks on to Lily.

Lily nods and smiles at Eric, biting her lip.

"Oh My God! That's great! I love you two together. Honestly I'm happy for you and I understand I mean, Dan and Serena just got divorced I totally do. My lips are sealed you got nothing to worry." He makes a action of zipping his lips and throwing the key.

Eric then comes and hugs Rufus and whispers in his ear ."Don't let her go, again."

"I won't, I swear." He whispers back.

"OK so my flights in two hours I better take off. Take care mom, love you, and Rufus thanks for everything you have done for us and mom. We'll always remember that." He says and hugs Lily.

Lily kisses her cheek and he kisses her.

Eric then takes his suitcase and leaves.

Rufus and Lily follow him till the elevator and see him off.

"OK I'm hungry." Lily says as she takes off towards the food.

Rufus chuckles and follows her behind.

Serena and Nate were having a great morning.

They had incredible sex last night and morning.

They were currently out for some exercise in the Central Park for jogging.

Nate was in Black with red striped Under Armour shirt with black Puma shorts and shoes.

Serena was wearing pink Nike sports bra with Adidas pink skirt and white shoes.

They came to a spot and stopped their jog , gasping for air.

They looked at each other with their lovesick faces and smiled.

Nate spotted a ice cream stall near by.

"Ice cream?" He gestured with his pointer finger.

"Ice cream." Serena nodded.

They went hand in hand and got some Belgium chocolate ice creams.

What they didn't saw was Ivy and Lola watching them from afar.

"Shopping? Rufus, since when do you shop?!" Lily said with shock.

"I shop coz if I leave it to Parker, he brings those crap ones and we'll shop together, it will not suspicious. No one will suspect a thing." Rufus retorted.

They were seated in the Royce Rolls now heading towards Madison.

They got out with Rufus holding the door for Lily.

She smiled as he held her door for her.

Rufus smiled back.

After two hours and several shops later they had shopped enough they went to a local Cafe never by and had some brunch.

They never had so much fun in the past five years, just coz they didn't had each other like this. Free and careless.

Rufus had purchased some dress shirts from Tom Ford and some shoes from Testoni dress shoes. Lily forced him to buy some casual shirts and plaids. When she said he looked more hot in those, he couldn't resist.

Lily bought some dark Levis jeans shorts, Valentino formal gown for an upcoming event, some business suits of Fendi.

Rufus then had dragged her to Victoria's Secret for lingerie and made her try out different outfits.

A see thru red negligee, a black one and a pink one.

He bought all of them for her along with some garter belts, cami and stockings.

Lily secretly bought some pink fluffy handcuffs unknown to Rufus.

She blushed and giggled while doing so.

Lily then bought silk Hugo Boss boxers for him too.

They got out giggling and blushing like teenagers out of the shop.

They went to the Cafe and had some light brunch.

Lily ordered a chicken grilled sandwich with a Italian dressing salad and Rufus ordered a salad and American cheese burger with Lily having a Spritz and Rufus coke.

"To calories!" Rufus joked as he raised his glass.

Lily just glared but neither the less raised her glass and they clicked their glasses and took a sip.

"So, what about that bet now?" Rufus asked after the drink.

Lil tilted her head in thinking and replied biting her lip and smirking.

"We could do it. Like start right now."

Rufus lightly moaned. " With all the lingerie we bought for each other? Hmm, it will just become more difficult for you."

" It will be for you. As I will be strolling in the house with that lingerie. Or he'll I'll just go naked there will be no cameras at 15 floor and no kids."

"You wouldn't."

"Oh I would."

Rufus folded his arms and acted mad.

"Aww baby can't handle me?" Lilg teased him.

"Hmm, you put up a big deal but you're worth it. Let's do it and shake on it."

Rufus said getting up and getting all their bags and leaving a hundred dollar bill.

"Oh it's on Humphrey and I'll win." Lily said getting up and taking some bags from him.

"In your dreams." Rufus retorts holding the cafes door for her.

"Well you're in my dreams Rufus, one in particular that involves you finding in the back of a bathroom of an anftershow in Boston with Alison, oh right that did happen." Lily answers slyly.

Their driver comes and takes their bags and puts in it the trunk.

Rufus then faces her and narrows his eyes.

"It was after you had left me high and dry. And you came to look for me. I didn't invited you there. You were with Lanye."

" I'm just teasing you my love." Lily says as she strokes his cheek.

Rufus takes her hand and kisses it.

They then get in the town car and leave for Milan.
