"You can guess how surprised I was. After all, no one was there but me. I looked around. There is no one inside the room and the door is locked. I couldn't but look at the mirror.

"Did you never see a speaking mirror?"

"Fine, it is one of my weirdest dreams," I said.

"But it is not a dream, not at all."

"Isn't it weird enough the door is open, but a speaking mirror? Yeah, right. Convince someone else. Why am I talking with a speaking mirror...?"

"A laugh echoed in the room.

"If you do not believe that this is true, next time you pass by the door, ask your question and you will see \i will answer."

"Won't happen."

"I came to walk out of the room, but when I opened it, I was frightened to see one of the palace's servants.

""Your majesty? What are you doing here?"

On a second though, I thought there was no point in panic. After all, it wasn't but a dream. And still, I didn't know what to answer.

"You know the entrance is not allowed," he said firmly.

"And I know..." I tried to think what to said "that there should be a key! And it's gone!

The servant raised his eyerow. I didn't have anything stupider to say, did I?"

"I'll make sure it will be locked again, and you make sure not to come here again."

There couldn't be any worse dream than that! But... this dream... just didn't end. I mean, it didn't continue in such a horrible way. But... the part when I wake up, didn't come.

It came, eventually, as I went to sleep. Still when I woke up, it was hard to believe it wasn't but a dream. So as the mirror said, I came back to the room, which was locked and whipered.

"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?"

"It is you, my queen. You are the most beautiful I've even seen."/span

"So apparently it wasn't... a dream.

A dream, reality, what did it matter? The door was locked, or so I thought, but it was slightly opened. There was no wind or anyone to push it. It moved on its own.

"You see, my queen, it was nothing but the truth."

Yes, at this point I admitted a mirror could talk. Who thought his day would come?

"And you know is real as well," I said, not entering inside "All the dust in this room!"

"Is that so, my queen? Look again."

"The biggest mistake of my life was to listen to this stupid mirror. But I looked inside and the room was flawlessly clean,

"Did they decide to clean here instead of a lock it? What's the sense in that?" I said as I entered "If you want to get people away..."

"No one but you was here for ages. I am the one who made this act of wonder."

"A speaking mirror who also cleans? But you have no hands!"

"And a mouth as well, but you still hear my voice, don't you?"

"It was hard not to wonder about this. No, no, there has to be some trick I didn't realize.

I tried to lie to the mirror, it was definitely heavy. I tried to move it, to see what there is behind it. But there was nothing but a wall.

I looked around? Is there an opening? A door? A window? But the room was absolutely empty.

"Not every day comes a special woman like yourself. Only ask, and I'll make your wish come true," the mirror said

"You can't make my dream come true." I sighed, sitting on the floor.

"Do not underestimate my powers. There is a reason I was locked here for so long."

"I would like to bring my brother back to like. This is my only wish."

"You are right. It is not easy/ But it this is your wish, I will do my best to grand it."

"Really?!" I stood on my legs, hopeful.

"For you, the whole world."

"What shall I do?!"

"No one has been here for years, and I need the presence of people to maintain my power. I still have a lot of magic in me, but a big part of it was taken from me."

"So I just need to come?"

"Come every day, repeat your question, and thus, you will wake me. The more someone spends time with me, the stronger I get. Now I am too weak. I can't do much. But they day when I'll be able to make wonders for your sake... isn't that far. In order for you to make preserve my power your must come every day. Only then, your wish will come true."

And so I did.
