Helga:

I'm sick of this, football head.

What's going on with you?

You're unusually silent and when you're like that... it drives me insane!

Only I get to make your life miserable. So tell me what's bugging??

A buzz from Helga and Arnold's phone distracts them.

Arnold takes out his phone first and sees Phoebe's nudes.

He instantly covers his mouth, looks away, then throws his phone off the bed.

Helga looks at Arnold in confusion until she reaches her phone and looks down at it to see Phoebe's nudes.

Helga:

What the actual fuck?!

Ew!

What the hell , Phoebe?

I'm calling her right now.

Helga gets off the bed and stands up. She has her phone to her ear as she waits for Pheobe to pick up, but she doesn't.

Arnold watches Helga pace back and forth.

What is going on with her? Have she lost her mind?

Arnold:

She's going to get expelled from school...

Arnold holds on to his knees tightly.

Helga:

Doi! And her parents going to kill her. This isn't like Phoebe at all...

Arnold gets off of his bed and walks to Helga.

Arnold:

Look, Helga... there's something I should really tell you.

Helga's eyes lights up.

Helga:

Are you going to tell me that you love me??

Oh, Arnold, I love you, too!

Helga reaches out to Arnold for a hug , but he avoids it .

Arnold:

What? No. I want to tell you something regarding Phoebe.

Helga:

Phoebe? Who cares about her?? Let's talk about our love for one another!

You avoided talking to me a lot today because of what happened yesterday, is that right??

Helga begins getting closer and closer to Arnold, who keeps backing away from her.

But I want to let you know that I don't think we were in the moment anymore.

I think you kissed me because you really wanted to and that you love me.

Right??

Arnold backs away to his bed that he accidentally sits on.

Helga looks down at him.

Arnold;

Helga! We care about Phoebe. She's in danger.

Helga:

Yeah, she's in danger. Like I said, football head, her parents are gonna kill her.

Arnold:

You know what, why should I even bother telling you? You're so selfish.

Helga:

Oh yeah?? Then you're a little shrimp that came back from San Lorenzo looking like a damn girl!

A fucking femboy.

Arnold:

Stop with the name calling and your language...I didn't even think you would curse.

Helga:

This is the new Helga G Pataki you're talking to and we aren't 9 anymore, moron. I'm 13 and so are you, but sometimes you act like you're still a whiny and nosy little kid.

You're a loser!

A sap!

A pencil-looking shrimp!

A lopsided football head!

At this point, Arnold is really angry.

Arnold:

Why can't you be more like Lila?? She's way more prettier than you and sweeter.

Helga:

So this is REALLY what's on your mind.

Fucking LILA.

Helga begins mocking Arnold's voice in a babyish manner.

"I'm so hurt that Lila is not eating. I'm so worried for her. I can't believe it."

Helga returns to her usual voice.

Oh well. Boo hoo. She's gonna die in a week.

And the best part is...

Drum roll, please...

I don't give a shit!

Criminy! Go take a picture of her and kiss it.

It'll last longer.

Arnold:

That's funny. I used to have a picture of her years ago. I wonder who came into my room and ripped it.

Arnold says sarcastically knowing Helga did it.

Your jealousy really lets me know how you see yourself. Hm...do you ever see yourself? You have all those names to call me, but you refuse to take time and look in the mirror to see how ugly YOU ARE!

Helga takes a step back from Arnold.

Her eyes start to tear up really quickly.

Arnold takes a step forward after instantly regretting what he just said, but Helga steps back again.

Helga...I-I didn't mean it. I didn't mean any of that.

Helga:

I wanna go home.

Helga ran to her belongings on the floor and begins packing up. Arnold follows her.

Arnold:

Helga, please...I'm sorry!

I should've never said that.

Helga:

But you said it.

You're a real honest person, Arnold.

SO THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME. I KNOW IM UGLY! IM FUCKING UGLY AND I WILL NEVER BE PRETTY LIKE THOSE OTHER GIRLS.

ALL I SEE WHEN I LOOK AT MYSELF IN THE MIRROR IS FUCKING BOB AND I HATE HIM JUST LIKE HOW I HATE YOU.

Helga spits on Arnold's floor and turns around to her bags to continue packing.

Arnold stares at Helga with tears rolling down his face.

Arnold:

Helga...Please...

I know I can't take it back, but I really didn't mean what I said. Right now with so much going on, I can't have you leave. It's too dangerous out there. I don't want you to get hurt.

Helga:

I'm already hurt.

All I need now is to get ran over by a truck to fill in my void.

Arnold:

Helga, I beg you to not leave.

I am begging you.

Helga:

I'm leaving.

I don't want my ugly face to be such a burden to you as it already is to me.

Helga picks up her bags and leaves Arnold's room, goes down the stairs, and leaves his house.

Arnold becomes weak.

He slowly walks to his chair to his computer desk and sits.

He places his head on his desk.

Meanwhile, Helga is walking back home.

She is letting out all her tears.

She starts running as soon as she hears gunshots.

She rushes home.

Helga arrives and slams the door behind her.

Miriam is sleeping on the couch with alcohol bottles everywhere near her.

Helga rushes up stairs to her room and also slams her door behind her.

She throws her bags down and walks to her body mirror.

She takes a long good look at herself.

She screams at her reflection in anger and starts pulling her hair.

Helga falls on her behind and hits the floor.

She is currently have a tantrum.

It last for a few seconds.

After running out of breath, Helga slowly stands up and looks at herself again in the mirror.

She touches her hair.

Helga takes down her two ponytails and wears her hair down.

It is really long.

Helga then ran to the bathroom and grabs a razor.

She shaves down the middle of her unibrow and makes two eyebrows.

Afterwards, she looks at herself in the mirror and slightly smiles as she finish transforming herself.

It is finally Friday, the last day of the first week of school.

Arnold is all ready for school.

He ran out his house and catches the bus.

He gets on the bus and pays his fee.

After paying his fee, Arnold looks around at the almost empty bus.

He doesn't see Rhonda, but he sees a mysterious beauty with long blonde hair.

Her beauty makes Arnold blush red like never before.

He decides to sit across from her.

Arnold tries to not make it obvious that he's glaring at her.

The mysterious beauty is writing poetry.

When she turns to look at Arnold, her blue eyes meet with Arnold's eyes.

When he sees her whole face, he realizes that he knows this beauty.

Arnold:

(In his mind)

She is just as beautiful as I remember.

(To Helga)

Cecile...

Is that you?

Helga:

Huh?

Arnold:

W-We were pen pals in fourth grade. At least I thought you were actually my pen pal...

For valentines, you and I went on a date.

I have so many questions...

Are you a new student at P.S. 119 and you're no longer are staying in Paris?

And most importantly...what's your real name?

Helga:

I-I don't remember you.

Arnold:

I'm Arnold. I know it was a long time, but I still remember you.

Helga:

I really don't remember you.

Please, leave me be.

I wanna get some rest before we arrive at school.

Arnold:

A-Alright.

(In his mind)

That's definitely Cecile.

What is she doing here and why now??

I go back to San Lorenzo tomorrow...

Helga turns to the window and leans her head on it. She closes her eyes.

Arnold tries not to look at her, but he couldn't help it.

He is enchanted by her beauty and the memorable date with her replays in his mind, but then he remembers Helga.

Arnold looks around the bus and doesn't see her.

He begins to feel nervous.

She's not here and Rhonda isn't either...

I hope Helga is okay.

The bus arrives to P.S. 119's High School.

The students get off the bus.

Arnold let's "Cecile" walk in the aisle first to exit the bus.

She doesn't make eye contact with Arnold, who tries to get another glance of her whole face.

He follows behind her into the school building , but he becomes distracted by the loud gossiping of other students talking about Phoebe's nudes.

He covers his ears and runs to Biology class.

He goes past Phoebe's locker and sees that it's been vandalized with cruel words.

Arnold becomes disgusted by it.

He arrives to Biology class.

Arnold sits down at a desk and looks around the class.

He is sadden to see that most of his friends are gone.

Arnold turns to "Cecile" , who takes a seat.

Her blue eyes focus on Mrs. Heather, who looks back at her.

Mrs. Heather:

Well, I didn't know we had a new student today.

Helga:

You're talking to me, Mrs. Heather?

Mrs. Heather:

What? You know my name already?

Helga:

Mrs. Heather!

Mrs. Heather:

Oh, I'm just joking with you, Helga.

Arnold:

(In his mind)

Helga?!

Mrs. Heather:

You took extra time this morning getting dressed.

You should wear those frilly dresses a lot more, dear.

Helga hides her head in her arms as other classmates laugh at her , when her identity is revealed, but not Arnold.

He loves looking at Helga's new look, but he also realized that Helga is Cecile, the mysterious beauty that unexpectedly stole his heart on that beautiful valentines night.

Arnold stares at Helga with many questions .

Helga takes her head out of her arms and covers the side of her face with her arm because she has a feeling that Arnold is looking at her.

Mrs. Heather continues to speak.

And class I must announce that Rhonda won't be showing up to school for a couple of weeks.

I have gotten word that she is in excruciating pain.

We'll take some time towards the end of class to make her some get well cards.

Arnold slightly smirks , but it goes away when he thinks of Phoebe and his other classmates being captured.

Arnold:

May Rhonda have a quick recovery.

Mrs. Heather:

That's so sweet of you, Arnold.

Always so caring.

Helga looks down at her desk and colors in with her pencil of Arnold's name.

When lunch time came around, Arnold is eager to see Helga and ask her his questions and apologize for last night.

He looks around the cafeteria after receiving his tray of food.

He doesn't see Helga.

He sits at a table by himself.

He feels lonely.

All his friends are gone.

Meanwhile during lunch, Helga already has her lunch.

She's inside the ladies bathroom.

She standing in the stall and is eating her lunch to avoid Arnold.

Back in the cafeteria, Arnold decides to walk over to his classmates that he never spoke to before.

He never seen them at his old middle school, P.S. 118, so he is nervous.

Once he sits down next to them, they all get up and leave to another table.

Arnold felt even lonelier.

He thinks of Helga and where she might be.

Arnold:

The bathroom.

Arnold leaves his tray behind and walks out of the cafeteria.

He walks with a serious look on his face.

He is determined to see Helga.

He arrives to the ladies bathroom.

Arnold hesitates to enter, but eventually he does.

Helga? Are you in here?

Surprised, she opens the stall's door and looks at Arnold.

Helga:

What the hell are you doing inside a LADIES bathroom? Quit stalking me, football head!

Arnold steps closer to Helga.

Arnold:

I-I wanna apologize to you about last night, Helga.

Helga:

Pfft. That could wait .

Arnold:

No...it can't. I'll be going back to San Lorenzo for...for the weekend.

Arnold lies.

He closes his eyes for a second after knowing he lied.

Helga becomes sad.

She softens up.

Helga:

So soon...

Already?

This weekend? A-Are you sure?

Arnold:

Yes...so, I really want to apologize to you before I go.

That was way out of line on what I said to you last night.

I hurt your feelings and ...and I cannot forgive myself.
