It had been a day since the incident with Yang and Mercury Black happened and everyone was blaming the poor girl. Yang tried to defend herself and said that she saw Mercury trying to attack her but of course no one believed her. The public would never believe anything she said after what they saw and as punishment General Ironwood disqualified Team RWBY from the Vytal Festival tournament. Yang tried to tell the man what she saw but like the public General Ironwood didn't want to hear it.

Jaune and the rest of team JNPR to offer words of encouragement and the fact that they believed Yang wouldn't do something like that. He was kind of upset that Ironwood didn't even take the time to look into the issue and try to see if something was wrong, but he guessed the general was a busy man. Ozpin and Jaune's mom also did not give it a second thought and just went along with Yang's punishment. You would think that they would at least look into the issue to show they care but they probably had other things to worry about.

That is why Jaune was looking at the video of the incident for the tenth time, there had to be something that he was missing. When he looked at the video he saw that Yang was attacking on reflex or like she was being attacked, he could tell by the shift in her feet. But he didn't see Mercury give off any kind of signal or movement that he was going to attack her, so why the defensive reflex? And Emerald clearly had nothing to do with it because she was just as surprised as everyone else.

Jaune could not figure out what the hell happened that night, but he was firm in believing that Yang was innocent. She may have had anger issues but that didn't mean she was going to attack someone without provocation. Then there was the other problem that Jaune had been dealing with, his girlfriend Pyrrha. Ever since she had her talk with Ozpin, Pyrrha had been really mopey, and she seemed sad for some reason. Jaune of course tried to ask her what was wrong, but she always said that she was fine, even though Jaune nor her other teammates believed it.

He wanted to try and talk to his mother to see if she knew anything about what Ozpin said to Pyrrha, but his mom took confidentiality very seriously. She knew that Jaune and Pyrrha were in a relationship, but his mother was a firm believer in keeping certain things secret and would not budge. Though Jaune really wanted to get to the bottom of this mostly because he cared about Pyrrha, and he also didn't want her to be in her own head during the singles match. Just then Jaune felt a tap on his shoulder and saw Ren looking at him with a sad expression.

"You are still looking at the video?" Ren asks and Jaune nodded.

"Yeah, there is just something that has been bothering me. Look at Yang's feet, she shifts them as if she was trying to defend herself. But there is nothing there, could it really have just been an adrenaline hallucination? It seems like so much more than that." Jaune said with his thumb on his chin.

"Yeah but Jaune we all saw the same thing so how could it possibly be something else?" Nora asked even though she thought Yang was innocent as well.

"You have a point, but I still feel like there is something wrong about all this. Hey, I think they are leaving their room, let's ask the girls how Yang is doing." Jaune said as he got up and went to the door.

Jaune opened the door to find the three other girls of team RWBY hanging their heads in sadness, and he could not blame them. He felt bad for his sister team, all of them were incredibly skilled and they could have gone farther in the tournament if not for that unfortunate event. The public was also trashing them for what Yang did and called them a bunch of violent girls no matter how stupid that sounded. He was not envious of the turmoil that team RWBY was going through.

Jaune especially felt bad for Ruby considering that Yang was her cousin and she had clearly looked up to the girl her whole life. Ruby was well aware that Yang could be reckless and a bit violent when someone touched her hair, but attacking someone while being unprovoked? That had never happened before which is why she knew that something was going on behind the scenes. She and the rest of her team thought it was best to give Yang some alone time for now.

"Hey, you three, how is she doing?" Jaune asked and his teammates looked just as concerned.

"She's doing the best she can…" Blakes said sadly and they all understood her sadness.

"I heard Mercury and his team rushed back to Haven so that he could be with his family. So, until they land no one can really question him about what happened." Ruby explained as they all nodded.

"Look if there is anything that we can do, please do not hesitate to ask us." Ren said warmly and his team nodded.

"All right then, if that is the case, be sure to win for Beacon Pyrrha!" Ruby said enthusiastically and Pyrrha widened her eyes.

"It's what Yang would want." Weiss said honestly.

It was at that moment that Pyrrha felt incredibly grateful for the friends she had, considering that they were so kind to her. Pyrrha's mind was still spinning from learning about the existence of magic and maidens from her headmaster, and his request for her to be the new Fall Maiden. She didn't know how to deal with it on her own, considering that she couldn't tell Jaune or the others no matter how much she wanted to.

Keeping all of this a secret from Jaune was probably the hardest part about this for Pyrrha because she could usually go to him with anything. Jaune instantly knew how to make her feel better and she could always be so honest with him, so keeping a secret from him was new. She wasn't sure how much longer she could keep the secret from Jaune though, he was pretty smart, and he already knew something was bothering her. Still, she felt grateful to have friends who were making her feel better even if they did not know it.

"I'll do my best!" Pyrrha said cheerfully with a smile, but Jaune knew it was fake.

'What the hell is going on with you babe?' Jaune thought in a worried tone.

"I'll be sure to watch tonight in case you're picked!" Ruby cheered as she and her team left.

Pyrrha smiled at her friend but frowned once she and her teammates left. In truth Pyrrha did not want to be selected to fight tonight, she had too much on her mind. Because of that, she wasn't sure if she could fight to the best of her ability seeing as though her mind would not be clear. If she was selected after all then she would just have to deal with it and try to push those thoughts to the back of her mind. At least she would have her teammates to cheer her on, speaking of which Nora was suddenly in her face.

"You heard the lady! NO MORE MOPING AROUND!" Nora said evilly as she was suddenly in workout clothes, and it creeped her teammates out.

"Nora how the hell did you-?" Jaune asked but Nora paid him no attention.

"We gotta get your butt in shape for the big fight! It could be today, it could be tomorrow, it could be the MOST IMPORTANT DAY OF YOUR LIFE!" Nora said dramatically as she lifted a 1000 par dumbbell over her head and then fell.

"Ok first of all, Nora you are doing too much. Second of all, where the hell did you get that dumbbell?" Jaune asked incredibly confused, and Nora just stuck her tongue out at him.

"Nora is right though Pyrrha, you can't let your concern for Yang hold you back. You need to focus considering you will be defending the honor of Beacon Academy as well as the honor of Team JNPR." Ren said seriously.

"Of course, I-" Pyrrha tried to say but was interrupted when Ren suddenly put a green drink right in front of her face.

"This blend of herbs and vegetables is filled with nutrients vital to your well-being." Ren informed with a smile.

'Oh, hell no…' Jaune thought in disgust, it reminded him of those gross health drinks his mom made him take when he was younger.

"Oh that's-" Pyrrha tried to say but was interrupted again.

"Please, there is no need to thank me." Ren said with a smile but Nora disagreed.

"Why would she thank you? That looks like slime from a lakebed!" Nora said in disgust, but Ren paid her no mind.

"Algae contains numerous spectacular properties, see for yourself!" Ren said happily as he encouraged Nora to take a sip, so she did.

The result of Nora taking a sip from Ren's concoction was that her face turned green, and she immediately buried her face in the trash can and started throwing up. Jaune just shook his head at his teammate, he knew that was going to be the most logical conclusion. Those kind of health drinks that Ren made tasted terrible and unless refined by someone who actually knew what they were doing it would mess up one's stomach pretty bad.

"What is wrong with you?!" Nora asked dramatically at Ren whose eyes widened.

"Me? You're the one who wasted perfectly good juice." Ren said pointing to Nora and looking confused.

"We are supposed to be helping Pyrrha, not poisoning her!" Nora said angrily.

"There was absolutely NOTHING wrong with that!" Ren said just as angrily.

"Yeah Ren I think our trashcan would disagree with your statement." Jaune said nonchalantly as he pointed to the trashcan and Ren glared at him.

"Jaune's right! If it was the same coming up as it was going down then there is something wrong with it!" Nora declared as she and Ren glared at each other.

"Alright that's enough, Pyrrha knows what she has to do and how much is at stake. She is a tournament champion; everyone here knows that she has what it takes, and she needs to go in with a clear mind and our support. That support does not include training her to the point of exhaustion or poisoning her with an algae drink. Adding on to her stress is not going to help her so we can't go overboard with this, do both of you understand?" Jaune asked with a glare that scared Ren and Nora.

"Y-yes team leader!" Both of them said scared and Pyrrha looked at her boyfriend with a smile and he smiled back.

"Great, now let's all go get some fresh air because we clearly need it. Ren go dump the trash out and then meet us outside." Jaune ordered and Ren's eyes widened.

"Why me?!" Ren asked angrily.

"Because your algae juice made Nora's face green and caused her to throw up in the trash can." Jaune said simply and Ren sighed in defeat.

Ren reluctantly got the trash can and walked outside the room to the trash dump, while his other teammates walked the other way. Jaune let the girls go first and Pyrrha kissed him as she passed by, but she still had that worried frown on her face. It really made Jaune worried because he felt like there was something other than the Vytal Festival that was bothering his girlfriend. She was never worried about a fight before, she relished it, so what was the deal?

Going back to her meeting with Professor Ozpin, what exactly could have happened for Pyrrha to be so stressed and down like this? There was no way she was in trouble; his girlfriend was pretty much a poster child and her kindness was matched by none. It was honestly one of the many things he loved about her, Pyrrha by all rights should have a big ego for being a tournament champion but she didn't. She was kind and sweet to everyone around her, which is why she is liked so much.

Could Pyrrha's funk be a family matter? Jaune didn't think so because she would have told him at least and he figured she would be a bit more upset if that was the case. The one thing that Jaune was sure about was that Pyrrha being down in the dumps had nothing to do with their relationship. It was going as great as it ever had, and Pyrrha just kissed him, so he felt they were good. Maybe having some fun would get Pyrrha out of her funk so that is what Jaune decided to do.

After Ren returned from dumping the trashcan, Team JNPR went to enjoy the festivities that the Vytal Festival had to offer. Some fun was definitely needed after what Yang did to that Mercury guy and the fact that Pyrrha was the complete opposite of her usual cheerful self was worrying. Spending time with friends usually helped people get out of their sad state and hopefully that would apply to Pyrrha. Otherwise Jaune feared what would happen if she was still in this state when the matches started.

Team JNPR spent the next hour enjoying the games and food that the Vytal Festival had to offer. Some people came up to Pyrrha and said that they wanted pictures and autographs, but the girl was in no mood and tried to politely wave them off. Thought it seemed that the fans did not get the point or were just ignoring Pyrrha, so Jaune stepped in and told them to back off. They did after that since Jaune could be scary when he wanted to be and Pyrrha looked thankful.

Pyrrha smiled kindly at her boyfriend and gave him a kiss but soon after that she went to being depressed and her team could not figure out what was wrong. They tried walking around for a bit but Pyrrha just told them that she needed some alone time and that she would meet up with them later. Ren and Nora wanted to try and dissuade her from going alone but Jaune just gave them a look that told them to back off.

Jaune was getting more and more concerned about his girlfriend, she was really becoming more and more secluded. Whatever she was worried about or whatever happened in Ozpin's office really hit her hard and now she could not even tell her friends about it. Maybe Pyrrha did need some alone time because she had been with Jaune and the team ever since she got back from Ozpin's office that day. Jaune didn't really want to do it but he figured that some alone time would do her some good so he would give her about an hour.

Unfortunately, Jaune was proven wrong because they didn't see Pyrrha for another two hours, and they got tired of waiting for her so they all split up to find her. This was harder than they realized since they had to pretty much look all over Beacon. Jaune found her outside of the cafeteria looking down at the ground with a sad and a pensive look. Jaune wanted to say screw it and go to his mother and demand an explanation for what happened but knew she wouldn't budge.

'Ok I have to do something; this can't go on for any longer.' Jaune said determined as he walked to his girlfriend.

Pyrrha didn't even notice her boyfriend coming up to her, she still had the weight of the world on her shoulders. She appreciated Jaune and her teammates trying to cheer her up, but this was something that was beyond their imagination. How was she supposed to tell them that magic exists and don't even get her started about the maidens. Pyrrha knew that they would tell her not to do it, hell Jaune would probably go off on Ozpin and the others. She didn't want to do it, but at this stage was there really an option? She continued to drown herself in her thoughts before her boyfriend's voice reached her.

"Hey, if this doesn't cheer you up then I am really going to get concerned." Jaune said with a smile as he gave Pyrrha some cotton candy.

"Oh, thank you baby." Pyrrha said semi-gratefully and she didn't smile which caused Jaune to frown.

"You gonna tell me what's going on with you or what? Because I don't like being in the dark Pyrrha." Jaune said seriously and Pyrrha flinched.

"I-it's nothing really!" Pyrrha stammered but Jaune just shook his head and rubbed his temples.

Yes sure it was nothing, that is why Pyrrha is acting the opposite of what she usually acts like. Jaune wanted to be sarcastic and challenge that statement but the last thing that he wanted was for his girlfriend to be mad at him. It was time to pull the boyfriend card and be honest with Pyrrha so that she would open up, even though Jaune hoped to God that he would never have to. It would be like those cheesy movies. Jaune saw Nora and Ren coming to them and he gave both of them a look that told them to give he and Pyrrha some alone time.

"Uh come on Ren! Let's go back to the fair ground, I will win you another stuffed animal!" Nora said as she pushed Ren away while he was carrying a bucket of popcorn and a teddy bear. Jaune took this time to sat down next to his girlfriend.

"You know I gotta be honest I didn't think that I would have this kind of life when I came to Beacon." Jaune admitted and his girlfriend turned to him.

"What do you mean?" Pyrrha asked curiously.

"Well back at Kingsglaive I wasn't really the guy with a lot of friends, was the best in combat and in turn a lot of people hated me for it. Got a girlfriend just so I could fit in with the group, was the worst mistake of my life because it meant I had to deal with her stupid friends. I didn't care about gossip or drama because I thought it was stupid, and that made me the bad guy. To make matters worse, I was the son of the deputy head mistress at Beacon Academy, so people thought that I didn't work hard I just had everything handed to me.

When I got to Beacon, naturally I thought that it would be the same as it was in Kingsglaive. Everyone would automatically know that my mom is the deputy headmistress and people would start judging me. But to my surprise and delight I was wrong, when I met you guys you didn't care about my status. You treated me like everyone else and I was glad to finally have real friends. And then there is you, a girl who I truly love and am blessed to be with. You make me better as a person Pyrrha, you are pretty much the best thing to ever happen to me." Jaune said honestly with a smile and Pyrrha's eyes widened before she smiled sweetly.

Pyrrha captured her boyfriend's lips and kissed him lovingly to which Jaune did the same thing. They kissed for a few minutes before separating and Pyrrha wrapped her arms around him and nuzzled the side of his neck. She felt incredibly lucky to be with Jaune, even in her extreme funk he found a way to make her feel better and show her that he loved her. The thought of maidens, magic and war left Pyrrha's mind for a moment, all that she thought about was her boyfriend and how grateful she was to have him.

"So, you ready to tell me what's been on your mind and how I can help?" Jaune asked as he stroked his girlfriend's beautiful red hair.

"You're already helping Jaune." Pyrrha said as she kissed his neck before sighing.

"Baby, I don't know what to do…" Pyrrha admitted sadly.

"What do you mean babe?" Jaune asked confused and Pyrrha thought about her answer.

"Jaune do you believe in destiny?" Pyrrha asked her boyfriend who just looked confused.

In truth Jaune did not really think about destiny, he didn't really believe in it if he was being completely honest. He always felt that people made their own choices in life and would be whatever they wanted to be, nothing was destined to happen. That was how he lived his life anyway; he knew that he wanted to be a huntsman and he worked hard to achieve that goal. He also acted the way that he wanted to act and was the person he wanted to be, destiny didn't have anything to do with it.

"If I'm being honest no I don't believe in it, but why are you asking?" Jaune asked curiously.

"When I think of destiny, I don't think of a predetermined fate that you cannot escape. Rather, some sort of final goal, something you work towards your entire life." Pyrrha explained and Jaune slowly understood.

"Oh, I get I think, so instead of a predetermined fate you make that fate yourself?" Jaune asked and Pyrrha nodded.

"Yes, now hypothetically speaking, what if there was something that had the potential to stand between you and your destiny?" Pyrrha asked and Jaune looked confused.

"Wait like what?" Jaune asked bewildered but Pyrrha kept talking.

"Or what if you could suddenly fulfill your destiny in an instant, but at the cost of who you were?" Pyrrha asked a bit worriedly and Jaune looked just as worried.

"Whoa, whoa, Pyrrha what the hell are you talking about?" Jaune asked concerned as Pyrrha got up and started pacing.

"None of it makes sense, this isn't how things were supposed to happen!" Pyrrha said sadly and Jaune her just looked at her with wide eyes.

Apparently whatever was bothering Pyrrha was something that would affect her life and everything she knew, at least that is how she was acting. He didn't know what happened in Ozpin's office, but it must have been a total bombshell considering how worried and scared Pyrrha was. The only thing that Jaune knew was that he had to fix this before his girlfriend drove herself crazy or worried herself to death. Jaune figured that the only thing he could do was be honest, thank God he was so good at it.

"Look Pyrrha, I may not know what the hell is going on, but I do know this, I don't believe in your version of destiny. If it's just some goal to be achieved, what happens after you achieve it? Why burn yourself out over one thing when you can achieve multiple goals throughout life? And if it truly means becoming someone different than who you are is it really worth it? In my opinion it is better to be who you are and live life the way you want to." Jaune said honestly and Pyrrha's eyes widened before she lowered her head.

"I understand what you are saying Jaune…but all my life I have felt that I was destined to become a huntress, to protect the world. And it has become increasingly clear to me that my feelings are right, but I don't know if I can do it." Pyrrha said in an honest tone.

"Bullshit." Jaune said simply and Pyrrha widened her eyes.

"W-what?" Pyrrha asked surprised at her boyfriend's blunt statement.

"Pyrrha, you are already a huntress and you already have protected people. Yeah fine, you don't have a license, but you are a huntress in every way that matters. And I'm not just talking about you being a tournament champion, you have fought the White Fang and Torchwick as well as a number of grimm. You don't fight for fame or money, you fight to protect people and make the world a better place, that is what a huntress should be.

Also, that isn't destiny Pyrrha because you are already living it and you will continue to do so down the line. You've already helped people and once we graduate from Beacon we will become licensed hunters and help people every day by slaying grimm. That's a long time away though, so why are you worried about it right now and stressing yourself out? If you're too worried about the future, then you can't function normally in the present, that's what my mom taught me. So instead of worrying about destiny and the future, just continue to do what you are doing right now Beautiful." Jaune said with a smile and Pyrrha was comprehending what Jaune told her.

Pyrrha knew that Jaune was right, and she felt stupid for driving herself crazy these past couple of days. She was a huntress, license or no license, she and her friends had protected people already in their first year at Beacon. They had gone up against a terrorist organization and a highly known criminal, and they had won in those bouts. She had been worrying so much about the meeting with Ozpin and the others, that she had forgotten what she had been through.

As long as she kept being herself and she had her friends, Pyrrha could always protect the world, that is what she believed. Maiden powers would certainly be an advantage, but if it meant she would have to become a totally different person would it really be worth it? Pyrrha didn't know but she now knew that she couldn't fully make the decision in the time frame that they wanted her too. Especially now that Jaune opened her eyes and told her that she has been pretty much living her destiny. Pyrrha walked up to Jaune and kissed him gratefully.

"Thank you Jaune, I really needed that." Pyrrha said with a smile and Jaune smiled back.

"No problem gorgeous, what are you going to do now? Are you sure that all of your worries have gone away?" Jaune asked and Pyrrha sighed.

"No, they haven't, but you are right that I cannot focus too much on the future while I'm living in the present. I can deal with that stuff later, but right now I have a tournament to win." Pyrrha said in a determined voice and Jaune smiled.

"That's my girl." Jaune said happily as he kissed his girlfriend who kissed back lovingly before they both left to join their team.

A couple of hours had passed, and it was finally time to kick off the final round of the Vytal festival. It would be one and one as the remaining teams picked a member to be the face of their team. For Team JNPR it was Pyrrha, and Jaune was a bit more relaxed now that she had calmed down. If she was still down in the dumps while this was going on then he would really have worried for his girlfriend's safety. But she looked determined as ever, if the confident smile on her face was anything to go off of.

As Professor Port and Doctor Oobleck welcomed everyone to the final round, Jaune got a good look at the opponents that Pyrrha could be facing tonight if she was selected. The only real problem that Jaune saw was Penny, he knew how strong the girl was even if he hadn't seen much of her since that night at the docks. Still, Pyrrha was more than capable of defeating any of these foes, so he didn't worry too much. Jaune was looking around until someone caught his eye and he immediately narrowed his.

"Hey guys, didn't Ruby say that Mercury's team went with him back to Haven?" Jaune suddenly asked his two teammates and they both looked confused.

"Um yeah why?" Nora asked confused until she and Ren saw where Jaune was pointing and there was Emerald sitting in the front row.

"What is she doing here? Did her team leave without her?" Ren asked but Jaune just narrowed his eyes.

"No this isn't right, I'll be right back keep your scrolls handy." Jaune ordered and they both nodded as he got up.

Jaune walked out of the stands and went to the section where Emerald would be with a determined expression on his face. He knew that Emerald wasn't there to watch the match, for one she never seemed that interested in watching others fight and there would be no reason for her to leave her team. She and Mercury were always together, and it did seem like she cared about him a lot, so why would she not be with him? Jaune kept walking but suddenly he heard a familiar voice and immediately him himself behind a corner.

There were two people a few feet away from him, one was Ruby and the other was Mercury Black, who apparently could walk after such a short time. He looked good as new too, it was as if he never got hit from Yang that day. Jaune knew something was immediately up because even aura couldn't heal the injury Mercury got from Yang that quickly. Professor Port and Doctor Oobleck then announced that the first match would be Pyrrha vs Penny, and Jaune's eyes widened as everything finally made sense…

"No…" Ruby said horrified as her eyes widened in understanding.

"Ooh, polarity versus metal huh? That could be bad…" Mercury said with a smirk on his face as he got into a fighting stance, but that smirk dropped as he heard a voice.

"Emphasis on 'could'." Jaune said as he stepped from out of the shadows with his arms crossed and a glare on his face.

"Jaune!" Ruby said happily as she got some back up.

"You…" Mercury said with a scowl as his plan was being screwed up by Jaune.

"Hey Ruby, glad you could make it. And Mercury, you're back on your feet already huh? Damn you must have a hell of a medical plan. Can't say I am too surprised though; I knew Yang would never hit someone unprovoked like that." Jaune said honestly and Mercury glared at him.

"So, what are you going to do about it Goodwitch? You and little Red over there don't have your weapons, do you really think that you two can beat me in hand to hand?" Mercury asked confidently with a smirk as Jaune placed a thumb on his chin.

"Oh yeah, that would be a problem huh? Well, thank God I can do this, Room!" Jaune commanded as a green bubble encapsulated them and suddenly his Kikoku was in his hand.

"What?!" Mercury said amazed and annoyed at the same time.

"Holy crap, Jaune that's so cool!" Ruby said with sparkles in her eyes and Jaune chuckled.

"Thanks Ruby, do me a favor and go stop the match will ya? I think the public will want to know what really happened to Yang and see Mercury's great recovery for themselves." Jaune said with a smile and Ruby smiled back as she headed down the arena with her semblance.

"Where do you think you're going?!" Mercury yelled as he tried to intercept Ruby but suddenly had to block a swipe from Jaune Goodwitch.

"She's going to stop your evil plan or whatever the hell this is. You know that's a kind girl whose life you ruined with your little stunt, but it's all good I'm going to give her some payback. As I recall the last time we fought was in my mom's class but neither of us were using our full strength. I don't know why but I know you were trying to study my movements and Pyrrha's if I didn't butt in and fight you instead. This time is different though because you don't have the time to study my moves. So come on, show me your motivation." Jaune taunted with a smirk as he twirled his sword and pointed it at Mercury who growled.

"Fine then, you're going to wish you had stayed out of our way!" Mercury snarled as he got into a fighting stance.

Mercury tried to appear confident but in reality he was nervous because the plan had completely been shattered. The whole point of today was for Emerald to trick Pyrrha Nikos into destroying Penny Polendina with her semblance. Now that Ruby Rose Branwen and Jaune Goodwitch knew the truth, it was only a matter of time before everyone in the stands knew too. That would cause some panic but not the kind of panic that they needed for the grimm to invade.

If it was just Ruby then Mercury could have stopped her, but with Jaune Goodwitch in the mix Mercury knew that it would be tougher. Even though he was confident in his abilities, he knew that Jaune would beat him in a fight considering his skill and that overpowered semblance of his. He would have to focus all of his energy on him, meaning that he couldn't let Cinder or Emerald know that they had been compromised.

That meant that the invasion would be harder to pull of now, considering that they were going to have Penny's murder be the catalyst of it. This could end very badly for them, since the White Fang's attack and Torchwick's sneak attack would not happen if people were not already panicked and distracted. All of their planning and work until now would be ruined thanks to these damn kids. As Mercury engaged in combat with Jaune, he saw that Ruby was already near the stage. Was their plan really about to be ruined…?

Author Notes:

Hey everyone, back with another update sorry it took so long. I have just been finding time to write and also the passion for it. A lot of things have gone on in my life, all positive changes and I don't know how much time I will have for writing. I know I wanna continue the stories but I don't know if I will update them on a regular schedule anymore. I will definitely think about it, but as for right now the invasion will not go as Mercury and the others planned since Jaune and Ruby now know the truth. I really wanna know what you guys think of the scene between Jaune and Pyrrha because I felt that Pyrrha was kind of worrying too much in the show. Anyway, I am not sure when this will be updated but I have some ideas of the next chapter, like and review!
