CONGRATULATIONS phyl7375! Congratulations! That is something to definitely admire. As far as I know, the tradition is still the same!

"Breathe." Sue whispered to herself. It was the morning of the day before her wedding and she was standing in front of her mirror, Sunny happily panting as she watched her owner get ready for the day from the comfort of the edge of the bed. Sue would be getting ready for her wedding in about 30 hours. As the days passed that past week, the excitement slowly changed to nervousness. "You can do this. You will be OK. Just breathe." She encouraged herself. It didn't seem to help much.
Lucy walked into Sue's room and stood behind her. "How's that working?" She asked, facing the mirror, slightly smiling.
"It's, not." Her friend admitted, slightly chuckling at the admission. "Oh how I wish I wasn't so stubborn and went to your wedding! I think I would be a bit more prepared."
"If you had come to my wedding, I think your wedding would've occurred a lot sooner than it actually is." She replied.
Sue laughed. "True."
"Now." Lucy started, a mischievous look in her eyes. "What do you say we work on the final wedding preparations?"
She smiled at her friend. "Sounds great." She said, then the two friends left the room to finish the preparations, Sunny watching them leave, but staying where she was. Too comfortable to leave, she laid her head down and closed her eyes, taking a nice, comfortable, morning nap as her owner made sure everything would be perfect for the next day.

Jack frowned. All that week, he had been working on his own, trying to figure out where Kevin was hiding out. He knew after the failed attempt on Saturday, he wouldn't give up so easily and leave the area. Not wanting to let anyone else in on the little secret, he knew he was planning something more, something none of them wanted to see. Determined to figure it out, he scoured every resource he could think of. Nothing. "Where are you?" He hypothetically asked his computer. Unwavering in his search so he could have peace on his wedding, he continued on, trying again, trying another way.
"Are you still working? I thought you took the week off?" Connie asked, bringing a cup of coffee to her son.
He nodded. "I did. I just have to figure this out." He replied, gratefully taking the cup.
"What exactly are you working on?" She asked. They had decided to say that the delay was a mid-wedding crisis and keep the true reason solely between them. Not even Amy, Shane or Myles knew what truly went on. It was better that way anyways. The less people know, the better. Otherwise all of them would be acting the way Jack was. That would not be good.
"I'm just trying to finalize a case so I don't have to think about it next week." He replied as nonchalantly as he could.
"Can't the others work on it? They're not getting married!"
"Yeah, they can, they are. I just want to make sure it's completely finished." He replied, nodding.
Connie shrugged. She didn't understand it, but apparently she had to accept it. "Well, then, happy hunting." She said, walking away.
"Yeah." Jack distractedly replied, getting back to work.

Cathi frowned at her closet when she heard her doorbell ring. Grateful for the distraction, she went to answer it. "Good. You're here. You can help me."
Myles chuckled as he walked into her apartment. "Hello to you too."
She also laughed. "Sorry. Hello."
"Hello." He quietly replied. "What do you need help with?"
"Deciding what to wear to Sue and Jack's wedding."
Now he laughed loudly. "I don't think you want my clothing advice."
"But no, I do!" She exclaimed, leading him by the hand to her bedroom and closet. "I was thinking," she started as she picked up a dress off the bed. "Of maybe this?" She asked as she held up the pastel, flowery dress to her body. "It's the perfect spring dress, don't you think?"
He nodded. "Yes, it is."
"Or maybe," she said, setting the dress down and picking up another. "This one? It's less pastel and spring-y, but is more elegant." She said as she held up the long cocktail dress to herself. "I have a shimmery belt to go with it too."
He nodded. "Yes, I remember. Do you really want to wear a sleeveless dress? Remember, it will be entirely outside, not like last week."
She set the dress down. "You're right. That dress is out." She then stared at the dresses on the bed, then suddenly jumped up and turned around to face her closet. "Oh!" She exclaimed, running to the closet and rummaging through the hangers. "How about this one?" She asked, holding up a short, sleeveless summer dress. "I can dress it up, put a three quarter sleeve top underneath, leggings, too. And that shimmery belt will go with it too!"
Myles smiled at her. "That works."
Cathi's face twisted at his response. "You're right. Too every-day for a wedding."
"Why can't you just wear the dress you did last week? That was pretty."
She glared at her boyfriend. "I cannot wear the same dress to two weddings! I need something different!" She exclaimed, plopping down on the edge of the bed and sighed. "Why can't this dress picking be as easy as last weeks?"
He laughed as he sat down on another edge of bed that wasn't occupied by dresses. It was going to be a long morning.

"Bobby, what's wrong?" Darcy asked as they walked through the park, seeing the frown on her boyfriend's face. "You've been like this all week."
Bobby immediately smiled at her. "Nothing. It's just some issues at work."
"But you all took today off to relax from work!" She complained.
He nodded. "You're right, we did. But we weren't able to finish something up, so it's still on my mind."
"Oh." She replied. "Will it get off your mind soon?"
"Hopefully." He replied.
She smiled as they continued walking. "Good."
He smiled too as he wrapped his arm around her, enjoying the moment as best as he could.
