12-year-old Kamiko Itsuna packed her School bag. She was starting her first day of Junior High School today, and although Elizabeth had been a very good friend over the last 6 years, the black-haired Goddess was hoping that she could make some new friends as well. Over the years since she had gotten her 'Quirk', Kamiko had managed to master flying with her wings thanks to Hawks and could now use her eyes to see into people's hearts and calm them down thanks to Elizabeth. She was currently working on her Healing abilities, and, after trying to heal an injured bird, had almost completely healed it's broken wing. Said bird was now her pet, since it was taking some time to heal, and it had become too used to her and wouldn't want to leave.
"Are you nervous Kamiko-Chan?" Elizabeth asked gently. "Yeah, a bit. At least I won't have the stigma of being Quirkless hanging over my head this time though, so that's an improvement" Kamiko replied. "Just be yourself, I'm sure you'll make some friends that are your age" the older Goddess replied. "Thanks Elizabeth. Really. Thank you for everything you've done for me" Kamiko replied gratefully. After she finished getting dressed in her new Uniform, with wing holes cut in the back of course, the 12-year-old headed downstairs for breakfast. "Good morning Mama!" she called cheerfully as she entered the kitchen. Yui turned to her daughter and smiled, "my, dear, you're looking so grown up" she said with pride. Kamiko blushed but she was still smiling, "Mama, I'm not 6-years-old anymore" she replied in slight embarrassment. "Oh, I know, but I'm just so proud of you baby. My little Goddess, off to Junior High already! Oh, I have to take a picture!" Yui exclaimed, rushing off to get her phone just as the food started to smoke.
"Mama, the food!" Kamiko cried, hurrying to take the frying pan off the stove as her Mother rushed back in, "I've got it, I've got it!" she called.

Kamiko slowly walked to School, everyone staring at her- or that's what it felt like to her anyway. In reality, with the abundance of Mutation-type Quirks in the city, no-one really gave her much of a glance. Eventually, the young Goddess stopped in front of the gates of her new School. She took a deep breath, "okay, let's get this over with" she muttered and walked in.

After Orientation, Kamiko went to her Classroom with her new class. As they all sat down, she looked around. There were lots of different kids here, but two stood out to her. One was a nervous-looking boy with fluffy green hair and four freckles on each of his cheeks, and the other was a boy with spiky ash-blond hair and mean-looking red eyes. "Ahem, attention everyone, I'm am about to call the Roll. Now-" the young Goddess tuned the Teacher out automatically due to her nerves. "Itsuna Kamiko?" he called. Kamiko raised her hand, "here Sensei!" she called. She didn't notice the curious green eyes on her the whole time, or the way the owner of said eyes conspicuously took out a notebook.

Kamiko tried to concentrate on her School work, but it was a bit hard for her to get comfortable in her chair with her four large wings. "Itsuna, would you stop fidgeting and pay attention?" the Teacher asked. The young Goddess flushed slightly, "s-sorry Sensei, but I just can't seem to get comfortable with my wings on this chair." She explained. "That's not my problem, lots of people who have come to this School have had Mutation-type Quirks, and they were fine. So just deal with it and pay attention to the lesson" the Teacher replied uncaringly. Kamiko frowned, while inside her Soul, Elizabeth was upset, "he's supposed to be your 'Teacher'! From what I've gathered, that means that he's supposed to take care of all of you as well as teach you! But he's not doing anything!" she exclaimed, incensed on Kamiko's behalf. 'Maybe he's tired of dealing with preteens all day long?' the young girl suggested.
"Except the School year has just started! He can't be that overworked already!" Elizabeth replied. Kamiko shrugged, and tried to focus on the lesson. By the time it was over, the young Goddess was eager to get out of their and stretch her cramped and aching wings. Taking her lunch, she quickly found the staircase that led up to the roof. Unbeknownst to her, someone was following her.

Soon Kamiko emerged into the sunlight and (relatively, compared to the stuffiness of the classroom) fresh air. Sighing in relief, the black-haired Goddess stretched her wings and back out, then took to the air to make sure her wings weren't cramped. She didn't do much, since she technically wasn't allowed to use her 'Quirk' without a Hero License, which both she and Elizabeth found completely inane. But, she didn't want to get in trouble, so she only flew around the roof. She was so preoccupied with how good the sun and wind felt that Kamiko didn't notice the door to the roof opening again. She sighed, "I love flying. I wish I could do it more often" the young Goddess said to herself. "You should be careful Itsuna-San, you're not allowed to use your Quirk unless you're a Hero or doing special training" a voice called from behind her.
Kamiko gasped and spun around in the air to find Izuku Midoriya looking up at her. She flew down and landed on the roof again, "I just wanted to stretch my wings, they got really cramped and sore during class. Besides, the wind and sunlight feel so good in the air, I just couldn't help myself" Kamiko replied, flushing in shame. Izuku shook his head, "it's okay, I won't tell on you- I just didn't want you to get in trouble with the Teachers on your first day, that's all" he replied with a smile. The Goddess looked around, "so, uh, why did you come up to the roof?" she asked curiously. "Oh! Yeah, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me about your Quirk! It seems really interesting!" the green-haired boy replied cheerfully, producing a notebook and pen from- somewhere. Kamiko shrugged, "I guess I don't mind, why don't we sit down?" she suggested. Once they had, the black-haired Goddess began to explain her 'Quirk'. "I call it 'Grace'. It gives me a lot of interesting powers. First is, of course, my wings, which, as you've seen, allow me to fly.
Second is my eyes," Kamiko continued, as her eyes changed from red to gold-orange with the triskele in each. "These allow me to see into people's hearts and calm any negative emotions they might be feeling. I've also recently gained the ability to heal people too. I don't know if I'll get anymore parts to my Quirk, but so far that's it" she finished. Izuku was wide-eyed as he wrote everything down, "wow! That's an amazing Quirk! You could help a lot of people with your flight and healing abilities, and you could stop Villains from causing problems with your eyes! With your Quirk, you could be an amazing Hero Itsuna-San!" the excited boy exclaimed. Kamiko blushed slightly, "I never really thought about it that way. I'm still training with my Quirk, so I don't even really know everything I can do yet" she replied. But the more she thought about what Izuku had said, the more she saw the potential in her Goddess powers to do good in the world.
Suddenly the door to the roof opened again and an unwelcome voice (to Izuku at least) called out: "if it isn't Deku! Making more of those stupid notes of yours? Give it up you Quirkless loser, you'll never be able to be a Hero!" the ash-blond-haired boy called with a sneer. Kamiko frowned, Izuku was Quirkless? Like she would have been if not for being Elisabeth's Reincarnation. The Goddess stepped in front of her new friend (she hoped he would be her friend) and smiled at the other boy, "now, now, there's no need to insult Midoryia. Just because he's Quirkless doesn't mean anything. And if you have to bully others to make yourself feel better, then you really should try to find a better way to live your life. Cause otherwise, you're on the fast track to being a Villain" Kamiko said. The other boy glared, "WHAT'D YOU SAY WING-ASS!" he yelled. "Okay, I don't think you can handle this one yourself. Remember the abilities of your eyes Kamiko-Chan?" Elizabeth asked.
'Right' the black-haired girl thought. Kamiko sent her Grace to her eyes, causing her eyes to change to the orange-gold and gain the Goddess symbol. "What the hell is that?!" the explosive boy demanded in confusion. "Please just calm down. Midoriya has done nothing to deserve you bullying him like this. Can you just leave him alone?" the young Goddess asked. The other preteen blinked, feeling a wave of calm wash over him. He blinked hard and shook his head. The boy scoffed, "whatever. I didn't want to waste my time with you losers anyway!" he said, turning around and storming off. Once he'd left, Kamiko turned towards Midoriya, "so, why did that kid come all the way up here to yell at you?" she asked in confusion. The green-haired boy looked over at the young Goddess gratefully, "thank you for that. Usually confrontations with Kaachan end in me getting beaten up or blown up due to his Quirk. No one has ever stood up for me like that before" Midoryia said with a smile. Kamiko smiled, "well, if you just let bullies have their way, things will just get worse.
Also, did that boy say that you were Quirkless?" she asked. The green-haired boy flushed and looked down, "w-well, yes, I don't have a Quirk. I was born without one" he replied sadly. The young Goddess looked around, then leaned forward, like she was telling a secret, "can I tell you something? Everyone thought I was Quirkless too" she said. Izuku's eyes widened, "really?" he asked, shocked. Kamiko nodded, "yep, then one day, after I'd turned 6, my Quirk activated. I'm just saying that I know what it's like to be looked down on" she explained. Izuku looked surprised, "wow," he looked over at the girl's wings, "I wish I was just a late bloomer like you. I know I don't have a Quirk" he replied with a sigh. The Goddess frowned, "don't give up Midoriya! Just because you don't have a Quirk, doesn't mean anything. If you work hard, you can do anything! Never give up! Promise me" she said seriously. The 12-year-old stared at her, before smiling, "okay! I won't give up! Even if the whole world tells me that I can't be a Hero, I'll keep trying!" he said confidently.
Kamiko beamed at him, "that's the spirit!" she stood up and held out her hand. Izuku took it and she helped him to his feet. "Let's be friends!" the Goddess said cheerfully. The boy flounded, "b-b-b-but, we only just met, a-and, if you become friends with me, you'll get picked on, and-" he stuttered. But Kamiko shook her head, "don't worry about that! I can take care of myself!" she replied confidently. "O-okay then- if we're friends now, then please, call me Izuku" Izuku replied, blushing. The tweenage girl thought he was cute, "sure, then you can call me Kamiko" she replied. That day was the start of many things to come. But one thing was for sure: The two of them were going to change their world together.
