Summary:
Is friendship based on understanding? How about love?
Takeru putting himself in harm's way to loosen Patamon from the Digimon Kaiser's clutches.
Taichi-san trusting everybody with removing the Evil Spiral from Agumon, even if they harmed Agumon while saving him.
The Digimental of Friendship had flown itself to Daisuke, but Daisuke still didn't understand.
He couldn't understand how brave Taichi-san was. How Yamato-san and Gabumon gathered the will to attack their friend. How Takeru believed in him, when he lost the strength to fight and Fladramon reverted to V-mon due to his reluctance.
Hell, he hesitated telling Fladramon he'd protect him!
Maybe he'd protect him! Maybe!
Chibimon forgave Daisuke after he pledged he would protect him and flushed his allowance to buy Chibimon all the snacks.
That left making things up to Takeru.
"I…I'm not the greatest friend."
"Daisuke-kun, what's this all of a sudden?"
"I was mad seeing you and Hikari-chan together," Daisuke fessed up. "Sorry…I will try to control my jealousy from now on."
"Jealous? Of me and Hikari-chan?"
"Who else?"
"Hahaha, that's funny, Daisuke-kun!"
"What, is this the part where you tell me you're just friends so I don't have to worry?"
"Yup! Because Hikari-chan and I are only friends!" Takeru smiled honestly.
"You say that so directly, I don't know if I should believe you! Takeru, I don't understand you at all!"
"What's there to understand, Daisuke-kun? Hikari-chan and I can't be boyfriend and girlfriend!"
"Why not?"
"Because I like you, Daisuke-kun!"
