First off, I know I know, it's been a while. I'm going through all my old stories because one of them got a review an hour ago? It's been years since I posted anything, but I had forgotten about this.
No, this isn't a new chapter, I'm just thinking of deleting the first and second chapters since they don't line up with this story, and they're badly written. What was I thinking, putting two separate stories in the same place. Also the first two chapters suck.
I'm open to suggestions.

The hallway was quiet as Megan, Conner and Kaldur walked through. Compared to what they had just been through though, it seemed a little too quiet.
Suddenly, the sound of a door closing came from behind them and Megan gasped. When they were all turned around, another did the same without them seeing.
"What was that?" Megan asked to no one in particular.
"Perhaps the power is short-circuiting and is making the doors slam on their own." Kaldur answered. But even he was uncertain of the logical explanation.
Then, every door started opening and slamming shut quickly, making everything hard to hear.
"Run!" Superboy yelled. The doors were loud, but he was louder.
So, they all ran as fast as they could through the chaos around them, stopping only when they reached the end of the treacherous hallway.
"So all of that was just the power 'short-circuiting,' huh?" Superboy said, turning to where Kaldur was standing. Only, Kaldur wasn't there.
"Kaldur? Kaldur!?" Megan started to panic. Their leader was missing without a trace.
Kaldur was nowhere to be seen.

Aqualad wasn't sure where he was at first. One second he's running through a hallway with his friends, and the next thing he knows he's somewhere dark and there's a hand over his mouth keeping him from calling out.
"Hey, Kal! How ya been?" Wally took his hand away after he was sure the Atlantian wouldn't yell for Megan and Conner.
"Wally? What are you doing here? I thought you were on the other side of the mountain." He answered.
"Yeah, I WAS, but then I was kinda sorta kidnapped by Rob."
"Robin? But I thought he went home." Kaldur was just getting more and more confused the more he found out. And with these two together, no wonder nothing made sense.
From behind them, Robin answered, "Eh, yeah I did go home, but it was bugging me none of us had training today. So, I made a little training course of my own. And judging from how fast everyone's been running, I'd say it's a success."
"Mhmm, and now we're off to watch Arty as she realizes the door is locked. After that, we scare them into each other and pick them off one by one." Wally knew the plan was foolproof. "Which leaves us with one question. Will you help us? It'll be like old times… just the three of us, hacking the mountain into scaring everyone…" Seeing how his buddy was already about to say no, Wally brought out his secret weapon. "C'mon, you won't have to act like the leader just this once…"
And with a mischievous smile, Aqualad said, "I'm in."

As Artemis crept through the door to the mission room, she was certain that this time, there would be no robots to fight. Fortunately, she was right. Unfortunately, as soon as the doors slammed for the second time that night, the light flickered on and off, while at the same time the zeta beams began to make strange sounds.
This lasted at least five minutes until everything just shut off, and the doors opened.
"This is getting a little creepy, even for me." Talking to herself was one of the ways she dealt with situations. She then went through the opposite door, finally finding herself at the back door. And it was open! Actually open! Then, it slammed shut.
"Oh, come on!" Back to the television room. Expecting the worst, she headed back. But all was quiet. No closing doors, flickering lights, nothing. At least, not until she made it back, anyway. Then it got crazy.
Megan flew into her, knocking Artemis over along with her arrows, which scattered everywhere. Conner followed only moments after, looking like he was ready to punch anything that moved.
"Artemis! Oh thank goodness we found you!... Wait, where's Wally? Wasn't he with you…?" Megan backed up, looking around frantically.
Artemis gulped. "He-he was, but, then we got separated… it was dark, I couldn't find him, and- wait, where's Kaldur? He was with you too, right?"
Megan bit her lip. "Yes, he was, but then he wasn't. we were running, and somehow he got separated from me and Superboy. Right Conner?" Megan turned around. "Conner?"
But Conner was nowhere to be seen.

It was dark. And it was cold. And Conner was scared. Ok, kidding about the scared part. But it really was dark and cold. Then Conner's eyes adjusted, and he could make out the three other shapes in the darkness.
"Robin, Wally, and… is that Kaldur? What are we doing in the air vent? And why is it so cold?" Conner asked, rubbing his arms to get warm.
Wally nodded his head at his two teammates and started to explain, "WELL, you see, Robwasboredsohecamebackherebecauseitbotheredhimhownoneofushadtotrainsohesbeenpickingusoffonebyonetofreakyoualloutandgetyoutotraininvoluntarily." Unfortunately, that meant he sped up his words to save time.
Robin rolled his eyes. "What Kid-Mouth was trying to say, was that I was bored so I decided to have some fun and make you all run around for training."
Conner just glared. "Fine. I'll go with you. But get Megan next, and hurry up with it."
The three of them just looked in surprise at how fast their friend agreed to something they were just going to ask.
Conner smirked. "Oh, come on. I've known you guys for a long time, so that means I know exactly what you were going to do. So, let's get to work."
They all smiled mischievously.

It's 2021 :[ idk who's still wanting to read this, but some people did at one point so I'll do my best to wrap this one up and actually finish a story for once in my life :/
Give me until November and I'll have it up, promise
