A/N Sorry about the typo 'MAN' instead of 'MAX' in the last chapter, I don't know how to change it without deleting and reposting, which I don't really want to do, but I fixed it this chapter.

To the person who asked why Fuji knows the Strong Fist, which is Guy and Lee's style: I don't recall them ever saying it was created by Guy or even Duy, but I could be wrong, but for this, it's just a style known to have existed for a while with multiple practitioners.

Sorry about this chapter, it's definitely rushing through the academy since I'm getting bored of pre-academy Haruto (A common Japanese name), although I'm not looking forward to writing 3 new characters for his genin team haha.

Laying in bed, I was talking to the guide, idly wriggling my legs in excitement as I think about the day to come.

'I finally go to the academy tomorrow! It feels weird knowing some of the kids who will be there from my memories, but I'm still so excited!'

-Yes, it is rather exciting. Make sure you remember to go to Fuji-sensei's shop afterwards as he asked.-

'Yeah, yeah I'll remember, Friend.'

-Good, now get some sleep, you have a busy day with the Induction tomorrow.-

It was the early morning when I heard the Guide speak:

-Quest Complete-

-Rewards:-

-Onimaru (Wakizashi)-

-1000 System Points-

As soon as I heard the notification, I was confused, where was my reward? Then, I realised how stupid I had been, opening my inventory and seeing a Wakizashi, beautifully made with the handle wrapped in light blue ribbon. I vow to never forget about this again and use it to the best of my ability. I decided to save the points for a later date, when I could look at the shop properly, but for now, I need to get ready!

It was bright outside when the knock came to my door, I was already changed and ready to leave, but wasn't expecting anyone.

Opening the door, I was shocked to see Fuji-sensei, stood at my door not wearing his usual dirty work clothes, but a Konoha flak jacket with standard shinobi pants and shirt beneath.

"Fuji-sensei?" I speak, mouth slightly agape, "What are you doing here, and why are you wearing that?"

"I wanted to surprise you, I'm going to be starting as an academy instructor starting today." He laughs, "Don't worry about the shop either, I hired an old friend of mine to run it whilst I'm not there, the place he was working at was shutting down, so I offered him the job and he pounced at it."

"That's good, are you going to be teaching me?" I ask, hopefully.

"I'm not going to be, sorry Haruto-kun," he frowns, "I asked to be in charge of your first-year class, but they already chose 'Iruka' for the job, so I'm in charge of a class of third years who's teacher went back to fieldwork."

"Ahh, that's okay," I smile, "Maybe I'll be super awesome and they'll put me up a few years!"

Fuji-sensei laughs loudly, "Maybe, Haruto-kun." He smiles, "Anyway, are you ready, let's walk there together."

Arriving at the academy, I spot a few faces I recognise from my memories, but pay them no mind, walking straight into the building with Fuji-sensei.

"Here's your class, Haruto, go straight in and settle down." Fuji-sensei smiles, "I did some digging, Iruka seems nice, if not a little young. You'll be fine, don't be nervous."

Entering the classroom, I look around. It's empty, so I take a seat near the front on the left side as I wait for everyone else to arrive.

When my classmates start to arrive, I recognise 10 of them from my memories, the 'rookie nine' as well as Tobio, the kid who would later knock Naruto into Sasuke, causing true love to blossom! Ew, I really should get a better sense of humour.

Anyway, as everyone sits down, 2 no-names from the show filling out the desk I am at, Iruka-sensei enters, looking somewhat nervous as he calls out, "Settle down, class! My name is Umino Iruka and I will be your teacher for your 4 years at the academy. Please feel free to talk to me if anything is wrong or if you need any help."

Iruka goes on to explain the curriculum, most of which is basic history, geography and math, which I know from my memories of my other life.

4 Months Later

It's been four months since I started at the academy, and as fun as it is seeing the characters I recognise from the show, the only one that really even cares about me is Sasuke, who seems to have developed some sort of one-sided rivalry with me due to my stellar grades.

I'm just sitting at my desk in the morning, waiting for the class and Iruka to arrive, when the door opens, revealing Fuji-sensei standing there.

"Huh? Fuji-sensei, what is it?" I ask quickly, wondering why he's here.

"I just talked to Hokage-sama, I got his permission to let you take the placement test so you can move up a year or two since you seem so bored with this class." He speaks, seeming excited.

"Really? You're the best Fuji-sensei! When do I take it?" I ask, mirroring his excitement.

"You should have enough time before class starts, so here." He hands me a pencil and a test paper, "Take the test now, and I'll grade it and tell you what class you need to go to."

I finished the test quickly, it was all quite simple, other than the 3rd section on 'Konoha Standard' a taijutsu style I didn't know. I handed the paper to Fuji-sensei and he graded it, before beaming a smile at me.

"Congratulations, you almost got a high enough grade to skip straight to the fourth year, but your lack of Konoha Standard means you ended up in my class."

"This almost seems planned," I laugh, "You didn't teach me Konoha standard."

"I know," He chuckles back, "although it wasn't planned, I just believe it's a pointless style if you have another, but the academy makes us teach it."

2 months later

Fuji-sensei's class is nice, although I don't recognise any of the kids from my old memories. We start learning Konoha Standard, which is less of a fighting style more of a list of things you could do when fighting, so I levelled it up quickly in my skills menu.

I was progressing quickly, and easily caught up with the 4 months less time I had in the third-year class compared to the other students.

Honestly, the other students in this class kind of suck. Most of them ignore me entirely, whilst some are even downright rude to me, angry I'm only 8 and in the same class as them, but I deal with it easily, either ignoring them or beating them during sparring lessons.
