Sorry for taking so long. I was really busy and didn't have time to write. I took an hour of this day to finish this chapter that was undone for so long before I go to work. Leave reviews and I will make sure to update faster.
Enjoy!
"I can explain, mom" her words were not sufficient and she sent a serious glare to the boy standing next to her. It was outrageous how her daughter was seen by three different guys. In her mind there was no solid explanation than just the thought of a girl not well-raised seeking for money. Her mother knew who he perfectly was. Even though the glare wasn't a welcoming one, she didn't hesitate on to show respect.
So Yi Jeong bow in respect and greet her with awkwardness. This wasn't the way it supposed to be. Meeting her parents right now was not planned and the only thought that went through his mind was of how stupid was him for not leaving as soon as possible she got in the building. Now the tension was growing, and even more when the presence of the man of the house could be noticed. His paces were slow while trying to figure out what was happening. His eyes were staring all the time at the Casanova, wondering what in the world was his daughter doing with a different boy than when she left. The father Chu immediately recognized him and his eyes went wide open as when he saw Woo Bin, but this the unexpected invitation of coming in took by surprise the two females standing in the door.
It was hard to describe the feeling of her father. He had a pokerface, no emotions given. That just made the couple get nervous by how he would react to their accidentally exposed relationship. The man went to the living room and tell them to sit down. Slowly, they carefully watched him while he took a seat right in front of them. His fingers were connected with each other while looking at them with a serious face.
"Can you explain me what's happening here?" All of a sudden he asked with a deep voice, scaring them.
"Dad, it isn't..." Ga Eul was quickly interrupted.
"I didn't ask you, I asked him" he pointed with his stare to the potter and the F4 boy looked at him a bit surprised, but letting his cool leave.
Leaning to the front and tilting a bit his head to the side while thinking, So Yi Jeong took a sigh before looking at the man with a serious face. "Ga Eul is a very special person and no one knows it better than a father. She's sweet, amazing, and there's a lot of competition out there who would love to have her heart. Because of that, I had to fight to get what I wanted. It wasn't easy but I made it, and I can really say is the most amazing feeling in the world; winning the heart of someone you love is something that it can't just be explained in words" at that moment he realized that that wasn't the explanation that the father was looking for, but the potter could see how it got the attention of the man that held Ga Eul's same look.
"So, what are you trying to say is-" the man was quickly interrupted in the middle of his words, about to give a conclusion, but the Casanova acknowledge it was best if it came out of his mouth.
"I love your daughter, sir" the eyes of the father were a bit surprised by this sudden shock of words that stung him. No one has ever made this confrontation with him, not to say that they like their daughter and even more love. That was a strong word, a strong meaning to him. He was really careful all this time with his daughter, but now it was like he couldn't control much of what she was doing or being with. The only thoughts that were running through his mind at that moment was how much his little princess grow up to be this wonderful woman and how it sadden him that he was no longer the only man for her.
Looking serious at the eyes of both of them, he still could not believe the words that came just seconds ago from the Casanova. He exhaled deeply and took a quick glimpse at his wife who could not believe too what was happening. It seem confusing to her. Ga Eul had bring three different boys to their home and now this was the one who proclaimed to love her. She wondered about the other two, and more of the first one, Yong Sook.
"Ga Eul?" calling her daughter but without saying anything else gave her the message that he was waiting for her answer to this moment. Her father wanted to hear from her if this was all true or a nonsense joke.
Grabbing tightly the hand of her Casanova, she look at him with a warm smile before taking a glance to her father very confidence. "Its true, dad" the country bumpkin looked at his eyes searching for any expression given, but nothing. Ga Eul couldn't tell what he was feeling.
"But what about the others?" her mother suddenly walk beside her husband with a preoccupy face, wondering if her daughter was the one who was playing with different kinds of boys.
"They are just..." Ga Eul stopped for a millisecond to think about Yong Sook and the word she was about to tell. It didn't fit him at all, but giving other explanations about what happened with him was going to take long and besides, he was part of the past now. "...friends" even when it didn't seem like a good explanation, it convinced them slowly. So Yi Jeong gave her a little help on this, explaining how the two of them were his best friends and helped him win her. Ga Eul show a lot of appreciation and gratefulness just by the look in her eyes glaring at him. She knew at that moment that she was doing the right thing and that he was the only one for her.
After a couple of conversations the tense began to decrease and the humour was beginning to feel the space that was once awkward. Minutes could only be shared after that as it was late. The country bumpkin's parents were terribly sorry for not having anymore dinner, but So Yi Jeong was more than happy with just meeting them, but the night was still not over as one more conversation needed to be made.
"I want to talk to you for a second" the father of the commoner looked at them before they told their goonight and goodbye. The man slowly pointed with the look on his eyes to the outside of their apartment, telling with just a simple glance that he wanted to have a private talk. So Yi Jeong nodded before looking one more time to his curious and a bit afraid girlfriend before closing the door slowly.
"So Yi Jeong" the voice of the man sounded very serious as he looked at him in the eyes with a small concern.
"I know your profile and I know where you come from" he paused as he searched for the right words, but never leaving sight of his eyes.
"You and my daughter's lifestyle aren't the same and we know it very well" his concern expression grew more. It was like if his eyes were beginning to be watery, emotional for what he was talking about.
"You may be rich and maybe you can give her all that I couldn't gave her, but that won't stop me from worrying about her and what she really needs, and that is love" he crossed his arms and try to supress his emotions back while thinking of his precious daughter and the life he gave her full of love.
"I hope you understand that happiness doesn't come from what you have, but from what you can purely give. Please, give my daughter what she truly deserves; a man that can only have a space just for her in his heart" patting the shoulder of the Casanova with a warm smirk made the boy feel happy. Knowing that the father of Ga Eul was giving him an opportunity to demonstrate his love for her was more than sufficient. He felt joyful to have his approval, and proving to him that he is worth for his daughter was the only thing that he needed to do now.
With that being said, the man slowly open up the door to find his daughter standing right in front of the door, like if she was waiting all this time for him to enter. Ga Eul waited for any comment but none was given and the curiosity was killing her, but now that the potter was gone, she couldn't do anything but to wait until tomorrow to know what happened between them.
"And we are here" slowly pulling over to the front of the mansion, the boy stared at the big building before looking once again to the girl with teary eyes.
"Get out of my car now" the tension was beginning to feel weird for him and he didn't like it, so the those rude words were the only ones that appeared in his mind to say.
Jae Kyung didn't put much attention to his cold order. Her head was leaning down and a smile try to make its way to her mouth, but it was impossible after seeing what happened just a couple of moments ago.
"Have you ever love someone?" her random question caught him by surprise and his expression turn to be very confused by this, thinking about the answer of the question. The monkey girl looked at him for a moment, wondering why he was taking so long to respond and she saw he didn't knew the answer himself.
Chuckling sarcastically a bit, she shook her head as if she believe she asked a stupid and obvious question. Woo Bin stare at her more confused now by this sudden expression of hers, not understanding why she was doing it.
"What am I asking! You don't even know what the word love means" she said chuckling more sarcastically.
"I know what it means, I have just not felt that way for any girl. I mean, I love my family and my friends but there hasn't been a special someone in my life" he told a bit confused still about her question, wondering why she was asking that.
"That's why you can't understand what I'm going through. None of you do. You don't care about the pain others feel, you're just selfish and think about yourself. All of you four are like that" the rich girl was definitely bipolar as the amount of hatred was accumulating in the look of her eyes.
"Why are you suddenly attacking me for what's happening to you?" he asked getting a bit defensive for how she was treating him.
"I'm not stupid. I sensed right after the restaurant that this was all a plan of yours, of you guys" she crossed her arms and looked to the front very mad, and even though it was a serious situation, he couldn't stop the thought of how cute she was when angry. Shaking that thought away after a second, he opened his eyes widely as he didn't expect for her to realize what happened back then. Of course they wanted her to see that Gu Jun Pyo only loves Jan Di, but he never wanted for her to find out the plan behind that lead them to here.
Woo Bin sighed before beginning to talk, ready to give an explanation. "You're right. We planned all of this, mostly me of course" he said with lots of pride before realizing that that wasn't necessary to say.
"But we didn't want to hurt you. We just wanted for you to end an engagement that Gu Jun Pyo couldn't" he explained and look at her to see how she was going to react.
"Didn't you thought about how I was going to feel with this plan?" she touched her chest very offended and hurt.
"You were crying that you didn't want to get married, remember?" he referred to the first time they had a normal conversation.
"That's different from now" she said frustrated.
"How's different?" he asked getting frustrated too, bot knowing why she was behaving like this. This was what she wanted from the beginning, or at least that's how the Don Juan saw it.
"I like him now. I want to get married to him, that's the difference now and no one will stop me" her hand immediately went to open the door as fast as she could, wanting to leave now, but a hand grabbed her wrist and stop her.
"Think about what you're saying. He doesn't love you and he will never be in love with you even if you try" the serious look on his eyes surprised her, this was the first time he was talking very serious about something and that scared her for some reason.
"You don't know about that" yanking away her hand from his tight grip, she gave him an angry glare before wanting to close the door.
"Just think about it" he said before his words could not be heard after she shut down the door with great strength.
Thereafter, she was gone. Jae Kyung was out of sight as she made her way quickly to the inside of the mansion, leaving a Don Juan a bit confused and surprisingly hurt. Thoughts came to his mind, questions begin to fill his head of why he was feeling this way. It was supposed to not matter at all what she just said but for some reason it matter a lot to him. Trying to find the reason seem exhausting, this was something new for him. A little feeling had climb up to his head and he didn't know what was it, which was the one that dare to make him feel like this; angry and anxious.
Looking one more time to the mansion, he sighed and drove fast from there, the anger was still there and he didn't knew why. He hated to feel like this without any reason that could explain to himself what was happening with this change of emotions.
