Luz and Amity appeared outside Roger's house.
"Why are we even here?" said Amity.
"Because we need you to become a better swimmer in a better environment." said Luz.
"In the lake Roger's squatting at?" said Amity.
Luz shook her head.
"No, that thing." Luz said while pointing to a kiddle pool that Roger's sister Kathy was playing in as the teenage meerkat was sitting on a chair dressed up like a life guard watching the whole thing.
Amity is shocked by this.
"Ok what?" She asked.
"Yeah, I know it's small, but it's perfect for training." said Luz.
"Perfect? I may end up breaking that thing." said Amity, "Also, I don't want to end up upsetting Roger's little sister."
Luz realized Amity's right.
"Yeah you got a point there." She said and thought of something, "Think Luz Think." She then smiled, "I got it, come on Amity." She said and grabbed her girlfriend by the jacket arm.
"What Luz hey." She said as she's being dragged away by Luz.
The two appeared at the shore of Roger's lake.
Luz then took off her clothes, revealing she was in her swim wear.
"Good thing I've been to this lake several times to know where all the shallow spots are." said Luz.
She then glared at Amity.
"And don't get any ideas like when we were on the beach that one time." said Luz.
Amity blushed nervously.
"You know that wasn't my fault." said Amity.
Flashback
Luz and Amity who was in a pink swim suit were sitting on the beach looking at the waves.
Amity then kissed Luz on the cheek.
The human then did the same thing before they started kissing each other as Amity fell on her back.
Then a wave washed up over them before disappearing, revealing that Luz was replaced by Ariel in her mermaid form and the two were kissing each other.
Amity opened her eyes and saw Ariel before she stopped kissing her in shock as the mermaid was dragged off by an angry and annoyed Luz.
"NO, NO, NOT THE FIN, DON'T THROW ME BACK THERE, SHARKS ARE IN THE AREA!" yelled Ariel.
But Luz tossed Ariel far away as she screamed before landing in the water.
Then sharks appeared where Ariel landed before diving down to eat her.
Luz started slapping her hands together.
"My weak nerd arms keep on getting stronger every day." said Luz.
She then looked at Amity with an annoyed look and Amity laughed nervously.
"It's not what it looks like, honest." said Amity.
Roger and Wendy in swim gear were watching the whole thing.
"Was I the only one weirded out by the fact that a Disney character just did an anti Disney joke from a Dreamworks film?" said Roger.
"Nope." said Wendy.
End Flashback
"I still can't believe you made a reference to Shrek 2 which is a Dreamworks film despite being Disney." said Amity.
Luz nodded.
"Yeah but Ariel is ok!" said Luz.
Amity chuckled.
"Yeah, I'll bet." said Amity.
"And scoop." Luz said before she lifted Amity up by her chest with her arms as the witch became shocked while blushing.
"Oh no, not the Grugby incident aftermath again." said Amity.
"Relax it won't be like that I promise." said Luz.
However Luz tripped on a rock and accidentally fell and threw Amity.
"AHHHHHHH!" screamed Amity ash she fell in The lake getting her earth clothes and jacket wet again.
Luz saw this.
"Okay, should have thought that through." said Luz.
Later; Amity had her Earth clothes taken off and was wearing a pink swimsuit and being held the same way as earlier.
"I don't think this is going to work. And why was there a huge wave on a lake?" said Amity.
"No idea." said Luz, "Anyways, lets get you part ways in the water so you can work on your paddling."
"That ain't going to work." Roger who had appeared said.
The two girls looked at the meerkat.
"What do you mean?" said Amity.
She then thought of something.
"And where's your sister?" said Amity.
"Oh she's taking a nap." said Roger, "Anyways, that's no way to try to teach someone to swim."
Luz became confused.
"What're you talking about? This is how my mother taught me." said Luz.
"Probably because you were an outcast back in Connecticut." said Roger, "But Amity will need the proper tool since she and you are the same age as each other and something like what you were about to do will require more then one person's help."
"What proper tool?" said Amity.
Roger held a finger up and walked off.
He stopped at some type of compartment outside his house and opened it up, revealing lots of life jackets of different sizes.
He grabbed a large one before walking back to the lake with it and gave it to Amity.
"Here, put that life jacket on, and you'll stay afloat." said Roger.
The two girls looked at each other.
"I'm not wearing that, I'll look ridiculous." said Amity.
"Would you rather have this thing then?" Roger said before pulling out a deflated floating ring with a duck head on it and blew lots of air into it.
Amity rolled her eyes.
"Alright." said Amity.
She put on the life jacket.
"Does this make me look fat?" said Amity.
Roger pretended to zip his lips before tossing the zipper.
"No it doesn't." said Luz, "If anything it makes you more beautiful!"
Amity looked at Luz.
"Oh like how you thought I looked like Cotton Candy one time?" she asked.
Flashback
Amity was reading an Azura book when she heard some biting sounds and saw Luz trying to eat her hair.
"Uh, what're you doing?" said Amity.
"Trying to get some cotton candy." said Luz.
"Well that's my hair." said Amity.
Luz looked at the hair then at Amity before back to the hair and continued biting on it.
Amity groaned.
End Flashback
"Aw dammit, now I'm craving cotton candy." said Roger.
Roger walked off to get Cotton Candy.
"Why do people always start craving cotton candy since I dyed my hair?" said Amity.
Luz opened her mouth but it was covered by Amity.
"And don't get me started like with that one cheesy pick up line." said Amity.
Flashback
Luz and Amity were standing next to some lockers in Hexside.
"Hey Amity, are your eyes crystals?" said Luz.
Amity became confused.
"No, I don't understan-"Amity said before being interrupted by Luz grabbing one of her hands and holding her back while leaning forward.
"Because I can see my future in your eyes." Luz said flirtatiously.
Amity blushed nervously as Boscha's group of friends saw it.
Boscha groaned in disgust.
"That's a terrible pick up line. What idiot in their right mind would think that's cute or adorable?" said Boscha.
She then saw her two friends going all Gaga over that line.
"God dammit." said Boscha.
"Aw, they're so cute and adorable together." said Skara.
End Flashback
Luz playfully punched Amity on the shoulder.
"Come on, you know that's why you fell in love with me in the first place." said Luz.
Amity blushed.
"Okay, you got me there." said Amity.
Interview Gag
"Before I even met Luz, I was a self centered status obsessed witch who was forced to hang with someone bossy just because my parents did work with her parents. But when she arrived on the Boiling Isles, she helped me to realize that there was more to life then just following everyone's expectations, and to break out from the crowd to be my own person. That's another reason I fell in love with her after a while." said Amity.
End Interview Gag
Amity looked at the water.
"You sure this is safe?" said Amity.
"Of course it is. There's nothing to fear but fear itself." said Luz.
Amity nodded.
She looked at the water again and tapped the lake with her foot before setting foot in the water.
"Hey, this isn't so bad." said Amity.
She looked at Luz.
"You're Right." She said.
"I know." said Luz.
Amity walked a little further into the water before she started floating, shocking her.
"Wait, where's the bottom, I can't feel the bottom of the lake, where is it?" said Amity.
Luz swam over to her.
"Don't worry, the life jacket is keeping you afloat. Just keep treading water by moving your feet." said Luz.
Amity nodded.
"Alright." said Amity.
She started kicking her feet around in the water.
Luz poked her head under water and saw Amity treading water.
She held a thumbs up before popping her head out of the water.
"Doing good Blight." said Luz.
"Really?" said Amity.
Luz nodded.
"Yeah." said Luz, "You and me have a lot to work on."
Amity smiled.
"Well I'm gonna show ya I will be a good swimmer and an Awesome Girlfriend!" She said
Luz then started blushing.
Roger was nearby sitting on a tree branch while eating cotton candy and watching the whole thing.
"Somehow I get the feeling that awesome girlfriend is going to become a meme, same for cotton candy haired goddess." said Roger.
Amity glared at Roger and used her magic at him.
The magic turned Roger into a regular meerkat and he looked around before scurrying down the tree and started digging.
"Jokes on you Blight, meerkat's are naturally expert diggers." said Roger.
He then managed to burrow underground.
However purple slime came out and Roger is in an abomination cage.
"Okay then, guess I'll just wait here as a regular meerkat, no access to technology, unable to greet my sister when she wakes up, watching all this happening." said Roger.
He sighed.
"I could really go for a cicada now." said Roger.
