Hello everyone!

PuzzleMaster1998 here with another new story!

It's Ray and the Last Dragon.

I liked this movie a lot! Yes it has its flaws, but Overall it was good.

This story will contain: adventure, romance, magic, transformations, songs, genderbending, the supernatural, and many other things.

Disclaimer: I do not own Raya. That honor and right goes to Disney Studios.

Now, let's begin our tale!

The Riders and the Past

It was a sunny day in the land of Kumandra. Birds were singing, bees were buzzing to and fro from flowers, and a light breeze was blowing.

All was peaceful.

Two figures rode out onto the wasteland of Tail on top of two large balls, sitting in special saddles as they steered the balls around multiple statues of people who had their hands cupped together and raised up, as if asking for a blessing. They also passed by multiple ruins as they went along the large river.

Not much could be seen of either rider, except that they were wearing red capes with a thin turquoise stripe around the necks. One had a yellow necklace around their neck, and a conical hat on top. They also had a thick brown wristband on their right arm. The other rider wore no hat, revealing their short, blondish brown hair, and they had a leather necklace around their neck that had a fox and cat made out of some sort of purple stone or gem as the centerpiece.

If someone had been there, they would have wondered what had caused the land to become so broken.

To answer that, they would need to look back 500 years in the past.

Flashback

Kumandra was a beautiful place, full of life and whole, with the people living harmoniously alongside dragons, magical creatures who brought water, rain, and peace.

It was paradise for all.

But then, the Druun came. A mindless plague that spread like wildfire, multiplying as they consumed life and everyone they touched into stone. The dragons fought for the people as best they could.

But, it wasn't enough.

That's when the mighty Sisudatu, the last dragon, concentrated all her magic into a gem and…blasted the Druun away.

Everyone that was turned to stone came back, except the dragons.

All that was left of Sisu was her gem.

It should have been this big inspirational moment, where humanity united over their sacrifice. But instead, people, being people, they all fought to possess the last remnant of dragon magic.

Borders were drawn. Kumandra divided. All people became enemies. And the gem had to be hidden.

But that's not how the world broke. That didn't truly happen until 500 years later, when they came into the story.

Well, this was an interesting chapter!

Can't wait to write more!
