A/N: Still don't own Nagatoro. If I did, I'd hope the releases of the chapters would be more consistent. But I know we're in a pandemic and all, so I guess I gotta cut them some slack.

shininglegacy22: Thanks for the wishes. How'd you do?

Canvas: Thanks dude!

Ouchanrrul: Married? Sounds interesting, to say the least. I'll keep that one in mind. And you mean the one where he leaves with Gamo and Yoshi? And honestly, I don't know how to write reactions to something like what she went through in chapter 9 because I've never gone through something like that. Like I said, I might rewrite it, I might not. I really don't know. But you make some valid points that I (embarrassingly) may have failed to consider.

BlackDragon829: As long as it's enjoyable, I'm glad. We've only seen short snippets of Nagatoro drunk, so I really don't know how she'd act while drunk.

Leokunn: Thanks, thanks, and thanks again!

Anyway, here we go!

"So, Hayachi? How do you think you did on the exam?"

"I'm pretty certain I passed. Aside from that, who knows?"

"Well, spring break starts tomorrow. Maybe you and Yoshi could hang out with us? My friend's dad has this awesome lake house that he's invited me and a few others to."

"Probably not. Thanks though. I have to head out. See you later," Nagatoro shrugged. Without making it too obvious, she left the lecture hall as quickly as she could and began the walk to her apartment. Ever since she had started college, she found herself going out less and less. She and Yoshi shared an apartment and would go on an outing every now and then, but aside from that, she didn't have too many friends.

The girls just didn't click with her and pretty much all of the guys were either boring, uninteresting, or had something else going for them that she didn't care for.

Her phone rang in her pocket, which she promptly answered.

"Hey Gamo! Yeah, it's been a while. Spring break just started for me too, so I bet the five of us could meet up. Actually, I'm on the way there now. I'll tell her you said hi. That sounds good. I think..."

By the time she got back to her residence, she and Gamo had nearly planned out an entire vacation.

"Yoshi! It's me!" she announced before opening the front door. Evidently, her roommate got caught up with something, as Nagatoro was the only one in the apartment.

A note was left on her pillow, which read, "Had to run out. Come to the coffee shop on the main campus."

'Well, got nothing better to do. I just hope she hasn't taken after Sakura and started trying to get me hooked up with someone,' she thought to herself before leaving her apartment. After quickly making sure she had what she needed and locking the door, she returned to the campus.

The walk to the coffee shop was rather calm. The air was pleasant, everyone was having a good time, and worse come to worst she would get a drink at her favorite coffee place. When she arrived, Yoshi was nowhere to be seen, meaning she didn't plan on being there for whatever was going to happen.

As she scanned the throng again, something caught her eye; something she should have seen the first time. It couldn't be. Could it?

As she made her way to the brown hair, she started scolding herself for jumping to conclusions. He went to a different college, and last time they spoke he had said that he wouldn't start break for another week.

Sooner than she expected, she found herself behind the person of interest. She reached out, aiming to tap their shoulder, but stopped. This was ridiculous, probably just a stranger who happened to have fluffy brown hair. It wasn't that rare, after all.

But then the person looked around as if waiting for someone, and saw her.

"Hey, Nagatoro! I was wondering when you'd get here."

"Se-Senpai? What're you doing here? You said you had classes for another week. And where's Yoshi?" She quickly sat in the nearest chair.

"Well, I lied. Break started a few days ago, but Yoshi and I planned this. I wanted to visit, and Yoshi told me you haven't been hanging out with others all too much. So, we decided to kill two birds with one stone."

"It's so good to see you. I'm going to get a drink, I'll be right back."

"No need. Yoshi told me what your normal order is here," he said while grabbing and holding out a medium sized drink.

"Thank you. So, what's new with you? How're you doing?" she asked as she sat back down with the offered drink.

"Not much really. Classes are classes, but I've been nominated president of the college's art club," he said with a snicker at the end. "What about you?"

"Well, I'm doing good in my classes, but that's about it." She looked around, and stood up. "Come with me, I'll show you around the campus."

The girl gave her guest a long tour, occasionally running into her classmates and introducing them to her friend.

"Hey Hayachi! I thought you were headed out?" The guy from her class approached, causing her to visibly flinch.

"Who's this guy? He giving you a hard time?"

"This is Hachioji. He's a friend of mine from high school. I was showing him around."

"Well, nice to meet you Hachioji. Anyway, did you rethink going to the lakehouse with us?"

"Sorry, but I'm not really interested. I already have plans with other friends. Come on, Senpai. There's more I want to show you."

She grabbed his wrist and roughly dragged him away from her classmates.

"You hungry? We can head to the apartment Yoshi and I stay at and I can order something to be delivered."

"Sounds good."

Even when the two finally got to the place, Yoshi still hadn't returned.

"Nice place. Better than my dorm room," Naoto offered as he entered.

"Thanks. What're you in the mood for?"

"It doesn't really matter. I'm good with whatever," he shrugged.

"If you're sure. Take a seat on the couch over there. I'll be over soon."

As Nagatoro ordered from a nearby restaurant, Naoto took a long look around the room. There were pictures of her and her parents and friends. Yoshi had just as many pictures here and there.

"So, how's your life going? Meet anyone interesting? Any new friends?" the woman asked upon sitting down next to her friend.

"Kind of. I've made a few good friends here and there, but that's about it. What about you?"

"Well, you met a few. But don't get me stared on what's-his-face. So, how's the art club?"

The reunited two proceeded to make small talk all the way until the food arrived.

"You know, Gamo and I were talking earlier. How would you feel about taking a trip with the four of us to Busena Terrace Beach Resort? I bet you'd love it, being the only guy with four college girls wearing bikinis."

"Actually, that sounds great. I've been wanting to visit there for a while now."

"Awesome!"

By the time the food arrived they had delved into interesting stories from after high school. Apparently Naoto had been forced to jump into a pond on his campus when a wind blew his papers away from him and Nagatoro was voted "Most likely to be a top" by a group of classmates during a party.

"So, how long are you going to be around?" Hayase asked after the two finished eating.

"I'll probably leave around lunchtime tomorrow. I'm planning on making a few other stops before heading home."

"Do...do you have a hotel reservation?"

"I was going to call soon. Why do you ask?" Naoto replied.

"Well, you could always...stay the night, if you want. We have extra blankets."

"That sounds nice. Thank you."

"I hope you don't mind the couch. We don't have an extra bed," the girl offered as she grabbed covers and a pillow from a nearby closet and set them beside the couch.

"It's fine. I once fell asleep at an easel, which is not a pleasant position to wake up in. So a couch is better than what I've had before."

"Good. Wanna watch some TV?"

He nodded, so the two sat beside each other and looked through the channels. Eventually they settled on a typical horror and romance movie, which had just started.

"Huh. Guess Yoshi won't be coming back tonight after all," Hayase muttered after receiving a text from her friend.

"Just us then, huh?"

"Yeah."

After a few moments of silence, besides the sounds from the movie, Naoto had to say something.

"You know, you would have given me a hard time back in high school for that."

"I know. But I'm kind of tired, so I'll let it slide this one time."

As the minutes ticked by, the two college students both became less and less attentive as tiredness came over them. At one point Nagatoro slumped onto Naoto's shoulder and didn't move. He himself was too busy falling asleep leaning back against her to notice.

However, a certain roomie of Nagatoro's would definitely notice them leaning against each other when she returned in the morning, only covering them with one of the blankets before diving into her own bed to catch up on sleep after her all-nighter.

A/N: Well, I finally got this one finished.

A quick rant about finals because can; I'm taking an android class, and the final is a mock-up app we have to make as a team, but one teammate has literally done NOTHING for the past few weeks (It's been in progress for about 4-5, maybe 6 weeks now.) and the other does just enough to do the bare minimum to be considered jack shit. Luckily, we've been assigned peer review forms for the project and I am tearing them apart in my review.

Anyways, I have no idea when the next chapter will be out. I also might recycle a few basic ideas from earlier stories but swap characters and other details to make them somewhat unique. Either way, have a good one!
