Chapter summary: It was just their luck that the Autobots encounter the Nemesis.

It was just their luck, things had been going fine for an hour, but that was until Omega had detected a Decepticon ship. He brought up the radar on the main screen, the blue dot showed his location, the red dot was closing in on them.
"Just our luck that they decide to show up now" Ratchet grumbled.
"They must have detected the AllSpark's energy signature" Optimus replied "Omega can you detect who is in that Decepticon ship?"
"Megatron, alongwith Blitzwing, Starscream and Lugnut" Omega replied "the only ones I had not seen during the Battle of Iacon"
Ome groaned a little "It had to be Starscream didn't it?" she replied, thinking of the time she had squared off against him, which had also been the time her Sire had discovered she had inherited his anger.
"Is your turret weapon operational?" Optimus asked.
"It is yes" Omega replied "I can fire upon the Decepticon ship when necessary, as a suggestion we should alter course away from Cybertron"
"Why?" Bulkhead asked.
"Cybertron is still recovering from the war, it cannot handle another one so soon after the war ended five months ago" Omega replied.
"He's right Prime, we could put everyone at risk" Ratchet added.
"And I won't let anyone on Cybertron be in danger, while Sigma is capable of his job as a Guardian, I'm not going to risk it" Omega said.
Optimus thought for a few moments before he nodded "You're right" he replied "Omega alter course away from Cybertron, preferably away from this galaxy"
"I'm on it" Omega replied before he powered up his engines to full power before he banked to the right and altered course away from Cybertron.
On the Nemesis, Lugnut watched the radar and saw that the Autobots had the AllSpark in their possession, he turned in his seat to look at his master "My lord Megatron, the accursed Autobots have got possession of the AllSpark" he said.
"Oh so brilliant oh wise leader, you let the Autoscums get possession of the AllSpark" Starscream added, sarcasm clear in his voice.
"Don't talk to Lord Megatron that way! His power is superior to those Autoscums!" Lugnut growled.
"Why don't both of you shut up!" Hothead Blitzwing growled before looking at the radar himself "it seems that the Autobots are traveling in the Guardian known as Omega Supreme" Icy Blitzwing added.
"A Guardian?!" Starscream exclaimed "I thought all of them were wiped out in the Battle of Iacon?!"
"Well obviously one survived!" Hothead Blitzwing growled.
"Silence" Megatron said as he walked forward to look out the window "Omega Supreme would have transformed by now if we were in his sights, which means that he is not in top condition"
"Brilliant master brilliant!" Lugnut praised "we can take down that Guardian and get what belongs to us!"
"It appears that Omega Supreme is making a hasty retreat" Icy Blitzwing observed as he looked at the radar "he is fleeing like the coward he is!" Hothead growled "he's a scaredy-cat! Hahaha!" Random Blitzwing laughed.
"Lugnut, prepare the weapons" Megatron said, skillfully ignoring Blitzwing's Random personality "full power on the engines, we are chasing him down"
"Yes master" Lugnut replied and turned back to the console to do as he was told.
On Omega
Ome looked worried as she looked at the radar "They're changing course" she said "they're gonna chase us"
"If they are focusing on us, we will lead them away from Cybertron" Omega replied.
"How long can you keep your engines at full power Omega?" Optimus asked.
"For a few hours at most" Omega replied.
"That should be enough to keep the Decepticons away from Cybertron" Optimus said.
"We can't keep this up forever though, what if Omega's engines blow out?" Bumblebee asked "I mean…no offense Omega but it's true"
"You are right about that Bumblebee, if I continue this speed after a few hours I will experience pain in my engines from them straining, eventually they would blow out" Omega replied "if I were in top condition I would be able to do so for much longer"
"Then what do we do?" Bulkhead asked.
Omega happened to spot a familiar galaxy, one that he and his daughter had seen on her tenth Sparkday, the Milky-Way Galaxy "I have an idea" he said at last.
"What?" Ome asked.
Omega brought up the map on the main screen, showing the Milky-Way Galaxy in the distance.
"Wait I know that galaxy" Ome said "that's the galaxy Sire and I saw in the distance when he took me on a space flight for my tenth Sparkday, it's the Milky-Way galaxy"
"It is" Omega confirmed.
"What does that have to do with your idea?" Bumblebee asked.
"I use my warp drive to get to that galaxy" Omega replied.
"What?! Omega you could damage your engines pulling a stunt like that!" Ratchet replied.
"I've calculated the distance, when I'm using my warp drive it will be like a short hop from here to the Milky-Way Galaxy, then once I'm at the outer spiral of the galaxy I can cut off my warp drive and go back to a more regular speed, since as far as I know Decepticon ships aren't equipped with a warp drive" Omega explained "so it will give my engines a respite before the Decepticons catch up again, if there is any damage to my engines it'll be superficial at most and Ratchet can repair it"
Optimus looked a little uncertain "And you're certain that you can do this Omega?" he asked since he knew how risky it could be if the Guardian used his warp drive in his current condition.
"I'm certain, all I ask that you all buckle up" Omega replied "because trust me it's not going to be the smoothest ride when I'm in warp drive"
Optimus took a deep breath before he nodded, he looked to the others "Alright you heard Omega, let's buckle up and hang on" he said.
Ome was nervous as she buckled up, once she was secure she put a hand on the console "Be careful" she said through the bond.
"Don't worry, I'll be alright, I have it all worked out" Omega assured through the bond before he said aloud "is everyone secure?"
"We're ready old friend, be careful" Ratchet replied as he patted a nearby console.
"Alright, activating warp drive now" Omega announced as his engines roared, it would have been deafening to anyone outside.
On the Nemesis
"No! My liege Omega Supreme has activated his warp drive, the Nemesis is not equipped with such a thing" Lugnut said to Megatron.
"The Guardians all had a warp drive, no non-sentient ships did" Icy Blitzwing added.
"So the great Lord Megatron has allowed the Autobots to slip away" Starscream retorted.
"Where are they heading Lugnut?" Megatron asked, ignoring Starscream.
"I'm not too sure master, it could be anywhere" Lugnut replied.
"They could be heading to this galaxy" Icy Blitzwing said as he pointed to the holographic map "I am not sure of its name, but it was the direction Omega Supreme was facing before he activated his warp drive"
"Then that is where we are heading" Megatron replied as he glared out of the window "Lugnut, retract the weapons and alter course for that galaxy, activate the hyperdrive, we will not lose them again"
