Chapter summary: There was only one option for Omega to be able to protect the others, the stasis pods, at least he would know they were safe for when he crashed on a new planet.

"Hello" Thoughts.

The Decepticons had caught up again, eventhough Omega had done his best to keep a good distance between himself and the Nemesis, there was only so much he could do in his current condition. Eventhough his engines had had the superficial damage repaired, they still needed time to recover from the warp drive despite the fact it had been an hour, but he had no choice at this point and needed to keep his speed high to stay ahead of the Nemesis, despite the risk.

On the Nemesis

"My master, Omega Supreme is within our target range" Lugnut said.

"That means we can blast him out of the sky" Starscream added and smirked.

"Orders lord Megatron?" Lugnut asked his leader.

"Activate the weapons system and fire" Megatron replied "damage him enough to cripple him, I'm sure with his condition he will do the rest himself" he gave a dark chuckle.

"Oh yes master!" Lugnut replied enthusiastically as he pressed some buttons on the console.

On Omega

"Uh…not to panic anyone, but the Nemesis is getting ready to fire on us" Bumblebee said as he looked at the radar.

"Everyone hold on!" Optimus ordered as Omega banked to the left to avoid a shot from the Nemesis.

Omega knew that if he didn't do something now, the lives of the others would be in jeopardy, there was only one thing that could be done to guarantee their safety and it was something that was only used in the most dire of situations "Go to the stasis pods" he said as he had to move to dodge another shot.

Ome had a look of dread, since she knew what that meant, and looked to the others "We…we have to" she said.

"What do you mean Ome?" Optimus asked, even he and Ratchet didn't know every protocol a Guardian had.

"When a Guardian tells you to go in a stasis pod, it means that the situation is so dire that they can't guarantee our safety, so as a last resort they have stasis pods to protect us" Ome explained.

The others looked to one another in concern, Optimus was the first to recover "Alright you heard Omega, get to the stasis pods!" he ordered.

"Don't need to tell me twice" Bumblebee replied as he got up, stumbling a little as he ran to one of the stasis pods "see you guys on the other side!" he stepped in and the pod closed.

"Take care old friend" Ratchet said before he got into another stasis pod.

"See you soon guys" Bulkhead added and got into a stasis pod.

"Good luck Omega, keep safe" Prowl said and got into another stasis pod.

Now it was just Ome and Optimus, Ome almost didn't want to, she was scared and worried for her Sire, and she knew Optimus wouldn't go in a stasis pod until she did.

"Go on Ome, it'll be alright, you need to be safe with the others" Omega said softly through the bond, he wasn't 100% sure if he would survive, but he had a duty and would fight till the end.

Ome nodded and flew up out of her seat "I..I love you Sire" she replied through the bond.

"I love you too, now go on" Omega replied through the bond.

Ome flew over to one of the stasis pods and landed inside it "Uncle Sigma?" she said through the bond.

"Ome? What's wrong?" Sigma asked as he could feel her fear and how upset she was.

"We got chased by the Nemesis to the Milky-Way Galaxy…we have to go in stasis" Ome replied.

Sigma knew what that meant and was worried "Omega will protect you, he'll be ok" he replied "you should activate the pod now, and I'll talk to you when you wake up, I love you"

"Love you too Uncle" Ome said as she closed her pod, as soon as she was comfortable and secure, she closed her good optic and was in stasis.

Optimus walked to the last stasis pod and took a deep breath "Till all are one Omega" he said.

"Till all are one" was Omega's response.

Optimus got into the last stasis pod and closed it.

Now that Omega had the Autobots in stasis, he could pull more risky manoeuvres to avoid the laser fire from the Nemesis, he did a barrel roll to avoid a shot before he activated his turret weapon on the roof of his alt mode. He knew that his aim would have to be perfect for the area he was aiming for, the fuel tanks, he then powered up his turret weapon and fired.

The shot hit the intended target, causing a chain reaction of explosions on the Nemesis.

On the Nemesis

"Abandon ship! Abandon ship!" Starscream shouted "don't just stand there go!"

"Fragging Autobots!" Hothead Blitzwing growled as he made a run for an escape pod.

Even Lugnut, who was Megatron's most loyal servant, had to make a run for it.

"You fools! Don't run away from this, stand and fight!" Megatron growled.

"I'm really sorry master, please forgive me Lord Megatron!" Lugnut shouted back.

"Lugnut move!" Hothead Blitzwing growled as he pushed his comrade down the hall.

Megatron growled and tried to use the weapons system to fire on Omega again, but nothing was working, he gave a roar of anger as the Nemesis exploded before making a crash landing towards a Moon.

With Omega

Omega could finally breathe a sigh of relief, but sadly that relief was short-lived as one of his engines blew out from the strain of the maneuvers he had done, he gave a grunt of pain and tried to keep himself steady, but he was on a crash course with no way of getting out of it without damaging his other engines. All he could do was plot an area that was away from danger and try to slow his speed enough so the impact wouldn't be too disastrous for him "Sigma" he said through the bond.

"Omega! Ome said you had to use the stasis pods, what's going on?" Sigma asked.

"Decepticons, but I took care of it…one of my engines has blown out and I'm on a crash course" Omega replied as he saw what looked like an island coming up on him closer and closer "listen I have to activate my stasis after I crash, but I'll wake up and so will Ome…stay strong brother, I love you"

"I…I love you too brother" was Sigma's upset, but understanding, response.

Omega smiled a little, he knew it would probably hurt when he crashed, but at least he could rest assured knowing his daughter was safe in stasis and Sigma was safe on Cybertron.

If anyone had been living on the island, they would have seen a large yellow and red ship crash into the ground, destroying a number of trees in the process, and remain still on a planet called Earth.
