The two powerhouses charged for Minato. Sho was clearly his equal while Theo surpassed him without a doubt. The night was going to a be a rough one for the terminally ill persona user but Minato had every intention of making it out alive.
"Hamuko..." Minato whispered, her smiling face fueling his strength. She was all that he needed. Minato sidestepped Minazuki's slash and rolled out of the way from Theo's fist.
"You can't escape forever!" Minzauki roared, sprinting for Minato and aiming a vertical slash which Minato barely dodged. Theo dashed and hammered Minato into the wall, repeatedly driving his shoulder into Minato's gut.
"UGH!" Minato hurriedly rolled out of the way and stood up, blood dripping down his chin. "Still as rough as ever."
"Give it up, Arisato," the redhead tilted his head. "I might kill you without pain."
Minato wiped the blood clean with a smirk on his face. "Unlike you morons, I got something..." the two frowned at him and Minato let out a sick cackle, further agitating the two persona users.
"..."
"..."
"Fucking high school education!" Minato thundered, flipping the two off and running into the grocery store. Minazuki growled at the action and ran after him, Theo cracked his knuckles and followed the two inside.
Minato looked around. "Damn..." he muttered. "I made the wrong decision." he should have ran for the police station. The ill persona user didn't really have much support in a fucking grocery store, but he had to make use of what he had currently.
Minato grabbed a bottle of ketchup since it was in reach. "High in salt..." he read aloud with a grimace on his face. "Fucking seriously..." his expression hardened upon catching wind of several quick footsteps, that was the redhead bastard, no doubt about it.
Minazuki came into view, the two swords at either side of his body. "Get ready to die!" He yelled, getting in striking range.
"High in salt, bitch!" Minato yelled back, unleashing the bottle of ketchup right on Minazuki's face just as he was about to aim a cross slash. The scar faced teen growled in annoyance at the stinging sensation in his eyes. Minato took advantage and rammed the redhead into the nearest compartment which conveniently turned out to be the kitchen one.
"Now that's what I'm talking about!" Minato gripped a rather large frying pan and smashed it on Minazuki's head, sending the impact racking down his frame. "You majestic son of a bitch..." the blue psychopath muttered, smacking him to the side with another shot which ended up denting the frying pan.
As Minazuki tried to recover and get the ketchup out of his eyes, Theo came running for Minato. The blue haired teen saw it coming and kicked the adjacent compartment with every bit of strength he had and it was enough to send the thing crashing down.
Theo stopped his charge but it was too late as the gigantic woodwork fell on top of the psychotic male, smashing him into ground followed by a sickening cracking sound which made Minato grin out of delight.
It didn't last for the long as the thing began to rumble, indicating Theo was about to burst through. Minato hurriedly unleashed a ball of flames, and since it was the compartment for edibles which obviously contained oil, the thing quickly caught fire with Theo underneath.
"HAHAHAH!" Minato grabbed an energy drink and ran out of the store which began to burn as well. He gulped down the drink and tossed the empty can to the side. "That felt good..."
Soon enough, Minazuki came running out of the flames and Theo soon followed, and he looked mighty pissed.
Minato flipped them off once again, angering the two persona users. The demented blue haired teen backtracked once again upon seeing that Theo had covered up the police station. "Tch.." he lamented, looking around the mall. The cafe was useless.
"You'll dance to my liking, motherfuckers!" Minato yelled at the two and made a mad dash for the club.
"Coward!" Minazuki raged once again and followed him inside.
Theo followed him once again and the three powerful persona users ended up in the club.
Minato gritted his teeth in annoyance. "He had to block the fucking police station..." the demented teen scowled, as the door of the club went flying across the dance floor, indicating they caught up.
Minato hurriedly summoned another sword into his palm and twirled around to face the two majorly pissed males. Theo's eyes were bloodshot while Minazuki was letting out low growls occasionally.
Minato glanced around the room quickly. "Aww screw this!" another flip off further enraged the two. "Come on! I got someone to meet after this!"
"Sandalphon!" Theo summoned the master of heavenly songs who towered over the three. Its body was gigantic and the power was immense, Minato really had no other choice.
"GRRR!" Minato scowled as the redhead charged for him, alongside Theo's persona.
"DEATH!" Minato shouted on top of his lungs, invoking a wave of jet black energy as the Death God emerged from the sea of Minato's soul. "I'm going to live!" The blue haired teen swore, as Minazuki twirled around to unleash a spinning slash which Minato blocked with his sword. In turn, Death blocked Sandalphon's strike with the gigantic blood stained sword he carried around. The collision resulted in a minor shock wave which made Theo backtrack a tad.
Minato's limb were beginning to run cold due to the extreme amount of stress that his body was under. Minazuki grinned wickedly, knowing that Minato was starting to fade away.
Theo chuckled, as his persona slowly began to overpower Death itself.
"UGH!" Minato felt his legs wobble as the redhead surely began to overpower him to his knees. "I can't hold out much longer..." he muttered.
"You better come back!" Hamuko's word echoed inside of his skull, making him bite his lower lip.
"Dammit..." the demented teen let out a deep breath, as his persona started to fade away because of the stress he was under.
"I'm going home alive..." Minato looked the redhead right in his crazed eyes. "No matter what!" Minato kicked the redhead right in the nads, breaking away his concentration.
"DEATH!" Minato empowered the persona with more of his SP, making the coffin wielding monster release a bestial roar that made Theo clutch his head because the scream was deafening.
Thanatos tore through the heavenly messenger and Theo staggered backwards due to the pain.
Death disappeared and Minato charged, his muscles were overworking themselves but he didn't give a shit. The blue haired teen mustered all the energy he had into his leg and kick Minazuki square in the gut with so much force that blood was sent spraying into the air. The scar faced teen was sent soaring through the air, and he ended up crashing right into Theo.
Minato watched on with a sick smile but soon, his legs wobbled once again and he fell to his knees, panting hard. "That took a toll.." Minato let out a few deep breaths, sweat dripping down his entire frame.
Soon, his two arch rivals found their footing once again and Minato gritted his teeth, forcefully standing up and gripping his sword once despite his limbs turning cold. "Come on..." the blunette jerked his head over in a taunting way, edging them to charge.
Theo and Minazuki charged simultaneously for the exhausted persona user. "I'm gonna live.." Minato swore, ducking underneath Theo's fist and spinning around to deliver a slash which the male caught with his palm. Minato dropped to the ground to avoid Minazuki's slash and kicked both of them in the shin, gaining a little distance.
Minato caught the air borne sword and twirled around to block another slash from the redhead. He momentarily dropped to a knee but immediately got up once again, putting every ounce of energy he had left into the struggle.
"Scumbag!"
"Moron!"
The two persona users hurled various insult at each other while they struggled to gain an opening. Unfortunately for Minato, Theo stepped right in the fray with a sickening knee up Minato's side, which made him scream out from the pain.
The redhead took advantage and delivered two slashes on Minato's chest, before Theo kicked him to the side, sending Minato crashing into the counter. The bluenette let out a low growl, fighting back the pain and ignoring the stinging in his fresh wounds.
Minato wordlessly got up and licked the blood away from his lips with another sick smile. He was nowhere near done. "Come on, I'm still breathing!" he taunted the two and it worked once again as they sprinted for Minato once again.
The blue haired persona user jumped behind the counter hurriedly rummage through the drawers, finding a few tools and a couple of knives, about a dozen of them. He hurriedly chucked the knives towards the oncoming duo, catching them off guard with the volley of blades.
Theo took a few blades and staggered backwards with a hated scream.
The redhead deflecting most of them with his expert swordplay but he ended up getting cut as well.
Minato twirled around his evoker which he thankfully brought with him and shot himself in the head. "Come forth!" he summoned the winged serpent once again who let loose a massive blast of almighty energy which sent Sho crashing to the ground while Theo dropped to a knee.
"CHANGE!" Minato clenched his fist as Sameal disappeared and in his place stood a knight mounted on top of a blackened horse. "Eligor, twin shot!" the panting teen ordered as his persona unleashed a rain of arrows from behind their backs. The rain of arrows tormented them further and Minazuki yelled out in utter pain.
Minato lost his concentration and his persona disappeared into static. "Dammit..." he panted, finding himself on his last legs.
Theo released a roar of hate and streaked for the terminally ill teen who was struggling in regaining his wits. Theo grabbed a hold of his face and cracked Minato's head on the counter, rattling his brain. Minato tried to power over but Theo threw him over his shoulder and mounted him.
"Say goodbye, you blue vermin!" Theo released a crazed laugh and began to smash Minato's face in, resulting in cracking sounds and blood being spilled and splattered. Minato clenched his fist and Theo continued the assault.
Another fist left him barely dangling onto consciousness.
"... Dammit..." Minato muttered, as his limbs turned numb. He was going to die..
"Sorry..." he muttered, as black dots dominated his vision.
"Minato!" the shout literally brought him back to life and the diminishing fire inside of him began to blaze fiercely. There was only one person in the world who could do that.
The shout was followed by several loud bangs of shots being fired. The bullets sailed for Theodore who was still mounted on top of Minato and dug deep into his leg, making the deranged male release another scream of hate and pain.
Minato took advantage and headbutted the male on top on him, sending Theo to the side. Minato jolted up straight and locked his eyes at the entrance, his heart did a somersault as Hamuko stood at the entrance, a warm smile on her features.
... Also, she had a pistol in her grip. Guess she took a stop at the police station.
"What are you doing here?!" Minato thundered, suddenly way more cautious about the two.
"... Would you have waited?" Hamuko replied back.
Theo stood up and glared daggers at the female who glared back defiantly. "Nobody is gonna take Minato away from me again, understand that you assholes!"
Minato smiled despite the pain stretching over his entire frame.
Theo stood up and charged for Hamuko who gritted her teeth. "Minato!" she called, chucking the weapon for the blunette who caught it and grinned. He aimed the barrel for Theodore's leg once and unloaded bullet after bullet into his flesh, definitively doing a massive amount of damage which for sure gave him a handicap.
Theodore grunted in pain and came skidding to a stop just inches away from Hamuko who grinned, much like Minato was grinning a few feet away. "This is for Minato..." she said, delivering a vicious knee on his face, cleanly breaking his orbital bone which caused Theo to yell out in pain once again.
Hamuko followed it up by digging out a knife out of her pocket and plunging it into Theo's shoulder. Hamuko gave out a small smile as she pulled the blade downwards, stretching the wounds all the way towards his forearm.
"Try that again," Hamuko yelled, pulling out the knife and slamming it on his back. "Try to kill him again, I dare you, prick!" she really didn't cuss that much but right now, her rage was surging to a point like never before.
Minato caught Minazuki running for Hamuko and he immediately bolted and ended up sending the male crashing into a bunch of chairs due to his fist. Minato stepped between the two and kicked Theo right in his temple which finally sent the psychotic male to the side, howling in pain.
"My badass psychopath," Hamuko cleaned the blood on his cheek with her thumb.
"Dammit..." Minato muttered but he couldn't be angry at her. She saved him and literally brought him back from death.
"Curse this..." Theo stood up, despite the horrible injuries that his body had suffered.
"Damn you!" Minazuki got up as well, glaring at the two Fools.
For once, Hamuko stepped in front of Minato, her crimson eyes narrowed to slits. "Like hell I'll let you touch him again." she snarled.
"Aren't you going to hide behind his leg last always?" Theo mocked, pulling the knife out of his back.
"I'm not the same girl anymore," Hamuko shot back, snatching away Minato's sword and pointing the blade towards Theodore. "Not the same crybaby who used to watch helplessly," she said, grasping Minato's hand. "I've changed because of people... and for the better!"
"Fool!" Minazuki growled. "You are weak and you will die."
"Don't think for a second that I'm not the same damn guy I've always been," Minato's voice was sub zero cold. "I'm going to maul you both," he gave Hamuko's hand a squeeze. "Come on, you stupid sons of bitches."
"Very well," Theo spoke up, grinning like the maniac he was. "The tale of the two Fools end tonight."
"Do your worst!" The two Fools spoke in unison.
Minato hurriedly summoned another sword and whispered. "Be careful, please."
"Same to you," Hamuko replied. "Please."
"Heh," Minato chuckled as the two closed in on the duo, ready to slash/smash them into oblivion.
"Scream for me!" Theo cackled madly, aiming a punch which Minato caught within his grip.
"Watch your fucking mouth," he warned, thwacking Theo on the face as hard as he could. Theo was already damaged by Hamuko's knee and Minato's fist briefly left him in a daze. Minato marched forward, cracking his knuckles. It was payback time.
"I won't be helpless like last time," Hamuko swore, blocking Minazuki's slash with her own sword. The male exerted more pressure, bringing Hamuko to a knee. She struggled greatly but ended up standing once more.
"You know what hurts the most?" Hamuko grinned, despite the struggle.
"..." The male remained quiet and overpowered her once again.
Hamuko responded by kicking him on the nuts as hard as she could. Minazuki's eyes rolled at the back of his head momentarily and Hamuko slashed him across the cheek, sending him face first into the wall. "A nutshot!" she declared, kicking him on the ribs.
Minato dodged Theo's rather sloppy punches and ducked underneath an uppercut. He ended up behind him and smashed his elbow onto his fresh wound, causing the other male to release another scream.
"Scream for me, motherfucker!" Minato mocked him, kneeing him repeatedly in the same place. Theo ended up knocking Minato backwards with an elbow of his own. Minato stumbled backwards but stepped right in with a punch that made Theo wobble for a few seconds.
Hamuko was barely able to keep up with Minazuki's relentless slashes but she was keeping up nonetheless. Minazuki stepped in and kicked her to the side. Hamuko shrugged the pain off and got up in a split second. "I told you, it will take more than a weak kick to walk over me."
"Foolish girl," Minazuki growled.
The female redhead chuckled.
Minato slashed Theo on the legs, bringing him a to a knee. "Hamuko has done so much!" he yelled, smashing the hilt of his sword to his already grotesque nose. Theo grunted in pain and Minato hammered his face with another few strikes, spilling his blood onto the ground.
Minato kicked him away and locked his eyes onto the other two. Hamuko was actually holding her own but there was no way Minato could stand there and watch. He shot for the male like a bullet, intercepted his slash and sent him crashing to the ground in pain, courtesy of a slash on his chest.
"Payback!" Minato kicked him in the ribs mercilessly.
Hamuko did the same and Minazuki rolled over to the side to avoid further damage. The two shared a quick smile.
Theo and Minazuki stood up once again. Minato had to compliment, Theo was a goddamn beast since he was still standing up after so many blows. The blue clad male was getting pissed beyond belief, he summoned a tarot card into his palm and the entire complex began to tremble.
"What are you doing!?" Minazuki panicked slightly as Theo crushed the card and summoned Beelzebub.
Hamuko and Minato looked on, their guards up.
The demonic fly roared, conjuring up three gigantic balls of almighty energy that slowly descended towards the ground. Minato gasped at the amount of power that the attack was emitting, and the fact that his skin was was starting to sting. "This will kill us!" he shouted, looking over at Theo who had a maniacal smile on his face, he didn't care if everyone ended up dying.
"Stop it!" Minazuki yelled, unleashing a wave of darkness that slowly began to envelop the entire place. Theo growled at Minazuki, clearly not liking that he had interrupted the attack.
"I won't stop!" Theo yelled. "Get out of my sight."
"Fool," Minazuki's eyes turned blood red and started to glow. "Watch your mouth."
"We're done in between this," Minato lamented, holding onto Hamuko tightly.
Hamuko saw the ever expanding darkness and the almighty attack that was plummeting towards them. "Shit..."
"..."
"..."
"Use us," The voice shocked both of the Fools, it was familiar. They had definitely heard that before. Yes, Minato remembered it all too well, it was the same voice they heard when his entire team fought the life and death battle against the dammed Reaper. The voice had saved them... could it happen again?
"..." Hamuko slowly lifted her evoker and raised it towards Minato's temple.
The blast of almighty power was extremely close to erupting and Sho was seconds away from disappearing into the darkness. "HAHAHAH! You won't survive this! I will kill each and everyone of you!" Theo roared.
"Tsukuyomi!" Minazuki yelled, crossing his blades in front of him and invoking his persona, a rather majestic, armor clad being draped in ropes who was holding onto a blackened sword.
Minato did the same and held the evoker against her temple.
Theo eyed the two of them as they held their own evokers against each others' temples.
"What are they doing!?" Minazuki questioned, growing restless. The damn ball was messing up with his attack.
Minato and Hamuko shared another quick smile and shouted. "We call upon Death!" The two shot each other, causing glass shards to burst from the other side of their temples, and the sound was followed by a bloodcurdling scream that rocked both Minazuki and Theo. It was that horrifying.
"What the hell is that!?" Minazuki gasped, seeing the familiar coffin wielding persona emerged from the fusion of two weak ass persona. It ripped straight two through familiar looking personae and came into the battlefield, more terrifying and horrific that he had ever seen before.
Hamuko clutched her forehead, the familiar headache creeping in.
"HAHHAAHAH!" Minato pulled on his hair as the power began to cripple his soul once again, invoking his other self once again. "Die, you insolent little bastards!" Death roared next, rocking the entire place once again.
The spheres were extremely close to the ground and Tsukuyomi's darkness just about covered the entire place but Minato wasn't going to let that happen. He raised his fist up, causing his persona to unleash another bestial roar that ended up shattering every glassware in the club.
"DIE!" Minato demanded, as Thanatos unleashed a catastrophic explosion of deathly energy that rang off warning bells in everyone's heads. The wave of energy easily overtook the pulsing balls of energy, and completely wiped out the wave of darkness that Minazuki was exerting.
"What the..." The two backtracked to avoid the wave but it was futile as Death expelled another wave. Minazuki and Theo's vision blackened and they lost themselves in the pain that came crashing into their bodies by the sheer force of the wave.
"Minato!" Hamuko gave him a stare and Minato stopped his insane laughter, his senses returning to him just because of a mere look from Hamuko. Thanatos slowly disappeared into mist and Minato exhaled sharply, feeling no air inside of his lungs.
The place started to rumble violently as the attack managed to cripple the base of the complex.
"Shit!" Hamuko cussed as the ceiling began to crack, showering debris on the two Fools.
Theo and Minazuki stood up once again, busted up and out of breath. Blood was leaking out of their mouth because of the previous attack which managed to severely cripple them, much like Minato who was barely able to blink right.
"I-I'll finish this," Theo growled once again, stepping forward.
Minazuki crossed his swords once again, ready for the final strike.
"R-Run," Minato choked out, ordering Hamuko.
"Y-You idiot," Hamuko bit her lip, panting hard herself.
The rumblings grew more violent and Hamuko pressed the evoker to her temple once again. Minato glanced around the floor for anything that could help, and found a couple of bottle lying around. Minato picked it up and observed the tag.
"Alcohol," he read to himself. "Highly flammable..."
"Hamuko," Minato gave a bottle to Hamuko and picked up another one for himself.
The redhead was about to snap but stopped herself as Minato whispered. "Burn them."
Hamuko glanced at the bottle, read the warning and smirked back at him.
"My psychotic girlfriend," the blue haired demon muttered with a slight smirk of his own. With that, Minato whipped around and ducked underneath Theo's fist. He twirled around and came up behind him, cracking the bottle on the back of Theo's head, dowsing him in alcohol.
Theo felt the pain and he couldn't hold the shout as Minato impaled him on his already wounded back with the remaining part of the bottle.
Minato switched to a fire resistant persona and briefly look at Hamuko.
Hamuko gritted her teeth and much like Minato, ducked under Minazuki's slash before cracking him on the head with the glass bottle, causing the male redhead to yell out in pain once again.
Theo grabbed a hold of Minato's throat, ready to crush it in his grip. Minato struggled to break free but Theo still exceeded him in brute strength, and he slowly began to crush Minato's larynx.
The blue haired Fool felt his vision blacken as the pressure increased but the shout brought him back to reality once again. "Minato!" Hamuko absorbed the gash on her back and switched to Orpheus before sprinting for the two males.
Theo was caught off guard when Hamuko punched him on the face with an Agi infused fist. The attack was weak but it did the trick as the alcohol on Theo's body ignited due to the contact with the flames and soon, Theo's entire frame caught fire.
Minato twisted his wrist and pinned his arm against his back. "Go heat, bitch!" he sneered, looking ahead to see Minazuki coming closer, dowsed in the liquid much like Theo was.
Minato kicked Theo onto the oncoming redhead. Minazuki couldn't stop the momentum in time and soon crashed into Theo who was still enveloped in flames. Minato grinned as the flames began to spread, burning the redhead due to the alcohol on his clothes.
Hamuko nearly collapsed when the building began to rumble once again.
Minato ran ahead and kicked the few coffins that were still present in the club out of the building as Theo and Minazuki yelled on top of their lungs due to the searing flames that only grew by every passing second.
"M-Minato," Hamuko couldn't believe it, but he was actually saving people present in the club.
"Come on!" The place began to collapse and Minato hurriedly shoved Hamuko towards the exit and looked back at the two persistent bastards. They were still alive but thankfully, they were barely breathing.
Minato shoved Hamuko out of the club and looked back at his two adversaries. A sick smirk decorated his features and he let out a chuckle. "What did I told you? I'll live through the night..."
"You..." Minazuki barely got those words out.
Minato harnessed another ball of flame into his fist and widened his psychotic smirk. "Burn in hell!" with those final words, Minato chucked the ball of flames towards the bottles still scattered on the floor, right next to their feet. The fancy dance floor caught fire and Minato laughed coldly at the sight of his two enemies quickly trying to escape from the club
Minato whipped around, the heat managed to slightly burn his jacket. He had to haul ass fast. Hamuko yelled at him from the outside and Minato sprinted out of the soon to crumble structure. The building finally collapsed and Minato jumped out of the entrance, barely saving himself from being crushed to death.
Hamuko was waiting for her blue haired comrade and as soon as he jumped out of the burning heap of debris, Hamuko ran forward and caught him safely in her arms, saving him from further damage.
Hamuko yelped and tripped to the ground along with Minato. The two rolled across the ground before coming to a stop barely inches away from the fountain. Further damage avoided once again.
"..."

Minato sighed as Hamuko snuggled against him. "I'm so glad you're okay..."
Minato smiled and draped his arm over her.
"Do you think they survived?" Hamuko asked, leaning her head against his shoulder.
"Pretty sure," he caught Minazuki disappearing at the very last second and Theo could teleport at will due to his stupid powers. "We still kicked ass though."
"Mhmm," Hamuko kissed him on the cheek.
Minato blushed and gave his usual shy smile. "Thank you."
"It was nothing," Hamuko smiled warmly at him.
"You know," Minato pulled her closer and kissed her softly once again. "I'm not kidding and I swear..." he pulled back and Hamuko looked on curiously.
"You are my greatest weapon, period," he smiled softly, promoting Hamuko to kiss him again.
Man, my motivation for this is totally shot and I swear, it took me weeks to complete this chapter. Ah well, least I updated this before my college, that was kinda my goal. Don't expect another update for a long while. Hope this answered the question of Hamuko being weak, pay close attention to the last line in the fic, and welp, that is kinda true. Also, Theo is a beast, nuff said.
