AN: I've finally gotten the first chapter done for my second Ladybug/Trollhunters crossover! Took me long enough.

This will contain some adaptations of episodes from Season 3 of Miraculous Ladybug, with the Trollhunters having a plot about gathering clues about Hawk Moth. It will not adapt every episode of Season 3, just a few. This story will probably be shorter than usual due to time. With this all out of the way, I hope you all enjoy!

Francois Dupont High School was joyous over their students' return. They had been allowed to remain at home for the remainder of the week. During that time, Jim and Claire had arrived to help the heroes deal with Hawk Moth. On the day that Marinette and her friends returned to school, the class made their way to Miss Bustier's class, where two new students were sat down already. The class stopped when everyone was through the door, looking at the new girls.

One girl was wearing a black pleated skirt with dark grey tights and black dress shoes. She had a red blouse on with a darker shade of red cover her collar, black rectangular glasses, and red rose in the side of her hair. Her hair was brushed over to the right and a small length partially obscured her left eye. The oddest thing that Marinette saw about this girl's appearance was that her hair was as white as snow and her eyes weren't green or blue or brown, they were a vibrant red.

The other girl was wearing a yellow skirt, no tights, and golden heels that exposed her toes. She wore a black blouse and a golden bracelet on her right wrist. Her straw-colored hair was brushed back and braided into a long ponytail that reached her waist. Her eyes were a pale blue.

"So... You still prefer Sammy?" The white-haired girl asked. "Or have I got you into David?"

"Why not have both?" The blonde-haired girl said. "They're brilliant in their own ways."

"True..." The girls noticed the crowd. "Hey. We're your new classmates."

"Classmates?" Marinette asked. "There was only one seat left."

"Oh, yeah..." The blonde-haired girl answered. "Your classmate Lila has been suspended and when that's lifted, she's heading to Mr. D'Argencourt's class next term for some tough love. They had to swap out a student so..."

"Here I am..." The white-haired girl replied. The girls walked up to the students. "Amy Scott. Pleased to meet you all... except for her." Amy pointed at Chloé.

"ME?!" Chloé shrieked. "Everybody LOVES me."

"Everybody LOATHES you!"

"I don't loathe her," Adrien intervened.

"Yeah, because she was the only friend you had growing up," The new blonde replied. "It's a shame, really. Liam and I would've loved to be your friend. But you got Chloé, which is why you turn a blind eye to all the crazy stuff she's done to people. But it's not just Chloé, I hear. Why the HELL did you let Lila Rossi keep lying to the class? You know what, don't answer that. I think I can guess. It's because you didn't want Lila to be akumatized again. I think you've got it in your head that if two people have a spat and one gets akumatized, then it's ALWAYS the other one who's wrong. If Marinette exposed Lila's lies and Lila got akumatized, then Lila is innocent and Marinette is the true villain, right?" Adrien was feeling nervous.

"So yeah, anyone who causes an akuma is evil," Amy added. "Except when it's Chloé." Amy sighed as the other new girl put her hand on her shoulder.

"I know that you are a Ladybug fanatic Chloé," The new blonde girl stated. "You go crying to your daddy and I get my grampa to stop him from doing anything."

"How could you-?" Chloé went to ask before she squinted at the new blonde. Then she stepped back. "Courtney? Courtney Rejeter?"

The students gasped. Alya immediately looked Courtney up on her phone. "Yeah, Chloé. It's me. Now you all know our names. I would like to get to know you all but... Well, you're probably ticked off. I'm guessing you guys are thinking I'm Chloé 2.0." Courtney and Amy sat at Chloé and Sabrina's table.

"Um, excuse me?" Chloé said. "But that's my seat."

"Not anymore it's not," Courtney said, sounding tired and borderline depressed. "Bustier hopes you'll learn to respect your classmates being sat next to Ivan." Courtney placed her hand on Amy's shoulder as Amy removed her glasses to wipe away forming tears. "And Sabrina may break away from codependency sat next to Nathaniel. Now you might wanna get to your seats, Bustier is due anytime soon." The class all took their seats, with Chloé sitting next to Ivan for the first lesson. "Oh, and there's two other students joining Ms. Mendeleiev's class. They seem to speak highly of some of you. Uh, I think their names were Jim Lake and Claire Nunez." Courtney's last words caused some wide eyes...

After school, a party was held to celebrate the returning in the party, Marinette and Alya were dancing away to the live music, courtesy of Kitty Section. "For a hard rock singer, Rose can do some softer songs too!" Alya shouted for Marinette to hear.

"I know!" Marinette said. "This was a nice surprise, wasn't it?" Marinette jumped up in the air, rocking out. Alya couldn't help but laugh.

"Oh, Marinette!" Rose said. "I know the next song thanks to you! Keyboard!" An unseen person started playing the keyboard riff to Van Halen's Jump as the energy shot up in the school. The floor was ELECTRIC. Marinette just didn't care. She jumped as high as she could, doing the splits mid-air, and even managed to land on her feet! The people who noticed cheered and laughed. Luka couldn't help but smile on the stage. Adrien laughed as well until he felt a shadow over him.

"Adrien," Nathalie Sanceour said behind the boy, "Your father-"

"-can do one!" Adrien said with a mix of anger and joy. "I'm having a ball!" Adrien made his way into the crowd and joined Marinette in a duet dance. Nathalie tried to get through the crowd but Kagami managed to get in front of her.

"You're trespassing," The girl said.

"And you're falsely imprisoning Gabriel Agreste's son," Nathalie tried to make Kagami's plan backfire.

"Seems like he's not in a hurry to get out of here. Maybe let him have this. It's more compassion than his father showed him. Who gave him a party on his birthday again?" Kagami's burn was retorted by Nathalie grabbing her wrist, hurting her.

"You do not want to cross Gabriel Agreste, Kagami Tsurugi. At least he cares about his child. Where's your father?"

Kagami sneered and tried to get out of Nathalie's grip, letting out a yelp. "Whoa! Whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa!" A voice called out from the speakers. "Hey, everyone stop! Nonononononono!" People turned to see the voice was originating from Luka. "You don't waltz into this school and assault a student." Students gasped as they saw what Nathalie was doing, and Marinette shoved Nathalie away from her new friend. Nathalie took little notice and went to go past Marinette. "Hey, BAYONETTA! Look at me! OI! Look at me! Look at me!" Nathalie looked up at Luka. "Get out of this school before we call the police!" Luka's demand was met with cheer as students began forming a barrier between Adrien, Kagami, and Nathalie. "Get out!" Teachers began moving towards Nathalie, prompting her to leave. But before she left...

"You know what? Enjoy your night with your friends, Adrien. Because your father will decide that this will be the last time you see them."

Adrien began chuckling as he raised his right hand. "Me refusing to come home on time one time, remaining in the company of people my age who care about me, and adults who have a responsibility to keep me safe..." Adrien raised his other hand. "Him sending you here which resulted in you trespassing and assaulting a student." Adrien began looking at his hands. "We have a blogger who has been recording this whole incident." Alya waved as her phone was aimed at Nathalie. "Who do you think people will side with?" Nathalie realized what she was doing, and left. "Thanks, Luka. I owe you one."

"No problem. I hate bullies." The school went right back to partying.

Marinette laughed as she went to grab a drink from the refreshments table. "Hey, Marinette!" A voice called out. Marinette turned around to see Jim Lake and Claire Nunez. The surprise was enough to make Marinette spit her drink out and begin coughing. "Oh, shish!" Jim grabbed some napkins to clean up the mess while Claire patted Marinette's back.

"Sorry about that, Marinette," Claire said in a slightly panicked tone. "You okay?" Marinette nodded before clearing her throat.

"I'm alright," Marinette replied. "Just surprised to see you. Wait... Isn't sundown soon?" Jim took that as a warning and dashed out of the school.

"I'LLTALKTOYOULATERMARINETTEBYE!" He exclaimed. Marinette and Claire began laughing as Alya joined them.

"Was that Jim?" Alya asked.

"Yeah, the potion that made him human again only takes effect during the daytime," Claire explained.

"Oh, yeah. Well, how are you, girl?"

"I'm fine. It's a bit loud in here, let's go outside." Claire, Alya, and Marinette all took drinks and headed outside. "I'm guessing it's a bad place and time to talk about why Jim and I are here so I'll ask how you've been."

"Well, I've been okay," Marinette replied. "Everyone's been much nicer since we came back and Lila's been transferred to a new class."

"So expect her to start causing trouble..." Alya deadpanned.

"And now we've got two new students with us but... They hate Adrien and Chloé and I don't what's worse, the tone they used or the fact that some of the things they said... kinda hold some truth." Marinette sipped from her cup. "That's something else we'll have to discuss later. How have you been? When did you get here?"

"Yesterday," Claire answered. "Chloé set us up at the hotel and got us into the school."

"Wow... Chloé used her status for good?" Alya deadpanned again.

"She's trying but..." Marinette said. "Some people just aren't happy with her. I'll explain in private. How are you finding Paris?"

"Marinette," Claire said in a confused tone. "We just got here yesterday."

"Oh, right! Sorry."

"It's alright. I'd love to stay and chat but I gotta see to Jim."

"Oh, okay." Claire smiled as she walked off.

"Bye!" She called out.

"Bye!" The girls responded. Alya and Marinette made their way back to the party, trying to forget their worries and just enjoy themselves for once...

AN: Don't worry, ladies and gentlemen, Amy and Courtney will not be used much in this story. They'll be in the background and even absent for the majority of the story. I hope you enjoy the story. Next time, I rework the self-insert episode into my series with my version of Animaestro.
