Author's Note: Sorry about another short chapter I am getting my inspiration back from being away from this story. This side of the Beast in this chapter is inspired by a person that I had deep feelings for that changed on me. Also I was inspired by Evanescence "The Last Song That I've Wasted On You" and you all will see more of that in later chapters. I am two chapters away from getting this story to the halfway mark.
Chapter 10 New Situation
Beast
Standing near the door was Belle looking heartbroken and shocked at the Beast and Adelaide.
"I thought that you loved me, but now I don't think you ever did," Belle said to Beast.
"I do love you, Belle. With Adelaide back in the picture, the wedding is back on." Beast said to Belle.
"I refuse to be the bridesmaid and you are making the biggest mistake of your life," Belle said to Beast.
She turned and walked away from him. When Belle walked away from Beast he started to contemplate his feelings. He wanted to say something to Belle, but he couldn't open his mouth to speak.
Beast woke up startled out of his sleep. He looked over to his right and saw that Adelaide was sound asleep. He sat up and got out of the bed walking out of his bedroom and started walking down the hallway. Beast walked past a bedroom and noticed that a figure was moving, so he walked inside the room.
"Beast what are you doing?" Belle asked Beast feeling astonished.
"Didn't you come into my room just now?" Beast asked Belle curiously as he looked around her room.
"I wouldn't dare enter your room. I know how you feel about your privacy." Belle said to Beast in a low voice.
"Then I must have been dreaming I suppose," Beast said to Belle as he looked puzzled.
"You dreamed that I showed up in your room?" Belle asked Beast as she got up out of bed.
Belle
Belle and Beast was face-to-face in the shadows of the room. They stared at each other waiting for one another to break the silence. Beast stroked Belle's shoulder length hair and leaned over towards her face. She leaned her face forward towards Beast and they started kissing and then Belle started to feel weird as her mind cleared, and she started to have a vision.
There were beautiful white flowers all over the venue that was outside. There was a lot of people sitting around dressed up in suits and pretty dresses. The bride and groom were standing together as the preacher finishing announcing them as husband and wife. The woman looked so happy and the husband looked happy.
Then Belle's vision started to change and fast forward in time.
The man and woman were arguing at one another and then the next minute. The two was making up for the arguing by making love and then back to arguing again. That continued every single day as days and months went by.
Belle couldn't figure out what the visions meant, but she knew the man could have been somebody that she knows personally. She had gone back to focusing on kissing Beast and holding him in her arms. She didn't know what the visions meant and didn't feel the need to discuss it with Beast. Belle felt as if she may know this man, but it didn't seem possible due to the man is human and he was acting like a total beast.
"Is your mind somewhere else?" Beast asked Belle as she snapped out of her daze.
"I'm fine don't worry about me," Belle said to Beast as she tried to brush off his worries over her.
"You are looking like you saw a ghost." Beast said to Belle with concern in his voice.
"If I'm not mistaken, I had a vision of you and Adelaide being married and the marriage turned bad fast," Belle said to Beast.
"I actually went through with the marriage?" Beast asked Belle with an astonished look on his face.
"Yes, and you and Adelaide are a horrible married couple. Thinking that you are in love, but in lust." Belle said to Beast as she looked away.
She let Beast reflect in his own thoughts about what she had just told him. Belle didn't know how Beast would feel, but she wanted him to at least talk to her about it.
"This is a lot to take in. Adelaide is an amazing woman and my parents matched me with her since birth." Beast said to Belle.
"I don't understand how you can be around her. She acts like I am a peasant or trash that she can step on." Belle said to Beast.
Belle felt overwhelmed with the Beast playing games with her. She didn't want to talk to him right or kiss him. However, she didn't know why she felt drawn to him enough to kiss him and it made her mad inside.
"She's not that bad of a person you just need to give her a chance." Beast said to Belle as he placed his paws on her shoulders.
"She hasn't said a nice word to me since I met her," Belle said to Beast feeling exasperated with him.
"Belle I will be marrying her soon and I want you as my friend to get to know her." Beast said to Belle in a pleading tone.
Belle didn't want to get to know Adelaide and she just wished that she could be at home with her father and other siblings. She felt as if she's living in hell along with Beast and his fiancée.
"You are giving me way too many mixed signals for me. You say that you want to be with me and then you don't. I don't think you are capable of being friends with me." Belle said to Beast feeling overwhelmed with him.
"I came here to tell you how I truly feel," Beast said to Belle.
"I don't think you know what you're feeling." Belle said to Beast as she walked over to her bed.
