'This is it.' Miley thought. 'The end of having a normal life.'
6 years ago, she and her dad made her altar ego Hannah Montana, so she could sing, be famous, and still live a normal life.
They had been a very fun, and sometimes complicated, 6 years of traveling the world, singing for famous people, for good causes, and for her friends and family.
But that day, she realized that living 2 lives was affecting her real life in way more ways then it was a few years ago. Dating was complicated because of the Hannah secret, being too busy for extracurricular school activities had cost her getting into Stanford with Lilly because of Hannah. And as much as she wanted to appreciate it, she couldn't ask Lilly and Jessie to sacrifice for her.
After reflecting on her life as Hannah, she decided that it was time to reveal her secret to the world. It would mean never having a normal life again, but if she kept the secret up, her real life would be limited by Hannah.
She went into the kitchen, and told her dad what she wanted to do.
'Are you sure?' Robbie asked.
'I'm sure. I can't have my real life limited by Hannah.' Miley replied.
'Okay bud. I'll call Jay Leno, and we'll be on his show tomorrow.'
She went to bed that night, nervous about revealing her secret, but also ready to finally be able to be completely honest to people she knew.
