It has been two weeks since Gohan started working at the library and as he was putting books away, he happened upon team RWBY and team JNPR. The two teams do not appear to have seen him as one group is studying and the other are engrossed in their game. Ruby's shouts and then later sobs towards her sister, Gohan chuckles to himself and moves himself on quickly Gohan knows he needs to get these books stacked. He decided to take the job as the librarian's assistant that had been offered to him, it was the least he could do after Ozpin took him in.

Gohan had become close to the two teams, well except for Blake, something Gohan hadn't expected the teams to get along with him so well because he was much older than them but most of both teams had taken to him quite quickly. Ruby, Yang and Nora kept trying to push him for his past while the others respected it, he knew he'd have to open up eventually, but he wasn't quite ready. He said he was a fighter in the past, he knew Yang wants to get tips from him as he stated he was hand to hand fighting, which is her specialty, Pyrrha had also shown interest when he said he was a fighter. The excitement of both teams is growing on him but knowing he had to get home to Trunks so he knew it could not last. Blake was enigma to him something she was holding back something of which she was afraid. The group's friend Sun was great entertainment for Gohan, he reminded him so much of his father even having a tail, but it was also the attitude, the wanting the help. It was almost like a younger clone of Goku.

Taking advantage of his position of library assistant Gohan read all the books he could get his hands on, focusing on the history of this world after finding out what the faunus are, he was truly intrigued. Mainly asking advice from the librarian but after speaking to Pyrrha and Ren he had specific books that would help him with his search. after learning about the treatment of faunus he was only more impressed by the outlook of Sun, Gohan had deducted that the reason Blake must have been so hesitant to speak to him was because she was also a faunus and did not knowing how Gohan would react. Thinking of what he could do only one thing came to his mind, maybe he could sit down with the two teams and tell them a bit more about his life, finding out that he had a tail when he was younger and that he's a monster. Blake might be more inclusive, Gohan shook the thoughts from his head that's probably not the problem, she was probably just uncomfortable with an older man hanging around. This saddening fact was more likely. He dedicated himself to the work knowing over thinking all of this wasn't gonna do anything, plus he didn't want to get too close he was going to be going home to Trunks.

As the end of the day is rolling around Gohan's doing one last check through the library, as he is walking, he comes across the game Ruby had left out. Smiling about the absent mindedness of the girl, Gohan packs the game up as best he can and starts heading to the girl's room. As Gohan get up to the dorms, He finds Ruby outside speaking with three people, two females and a male, one of the girls and the male have very dark auras but the third one is green haired girl she's very conflicted. overhearing the conversation as he gets closer

"Ooh, You're here for the festival. But exchange students have their own dormitory."

"I guess we just got turned around." before the conversation go further Gohan interjects himself

"Hello Ruby left this in the library. I couldn't help but overhearing that you're exchange students have gotten lost, I would be happy to lead you to your dormitory, please follow me"

Cinder turning to Gohan "Thanks. Maybe we'll see you around."

Ruby shouting and waving "Yeah, maybe, and welcome to Beacon. Oh, and Gohan thank you for bring my game."

"No problem, Ruby, now if the three of you will just follow me, we can get you to your dorm"

Leading the group of students Gohan tries to start a short conversation with them "Where are you guy's from?"

Emerald being the confident one of the group "From Haven, sir"

Cinder glares at Gohan the whole trip. "This is where you with be staying, will you be okay from here or"

"No, no we are fine from here thank you" Emerald rushes the group pass Gohan.

After leaving the odd group of students Gohan head back to he's room to finding Ozpin standing there "Gohan, I have an odd request of you"

"Ozpin, it is good to see you. what type of request do you have?"

"Oh, nothing too difficult I was just wondering if you could sit in on a combat class tomorrow afternoon as we have some of the exchange students there, I believe Glynda could use an extra set of hands."

Gohan happily accepts. after a restless night sleep full of nightmares of the androids Gohan wakes up, get some food and heads to the library. Gohan day is mostly uneventful as he was behind the main desk but at the sound of the bell Gohan heads out of the library and towards the classroom. Gohan opens the door as he enters the classroom he's arrived just before the students, Glynda is shocked that the boy is here but after Gohan explains what Ozpin had said to him

"I'm sure I could have managed it but make sure you stay close." Gohan at the end matters a small thank you that is not heard and quickly follows behind the older woman.

The class is uneventful with Gohan just sitting and meditating for most of it. That is until Pyrrha is up to fight and she is fighting an entire team, a four on one this gathers Gohan's interest to see. Opening his eyes and is very impressed by the girls fighting style she seems to be taking all the four people not easily but not with great difficulty, it is very impressive. Dodging, blocking, and parrying with impressive skill and timing, flowing from one opponent to the next. Gohan finds himself placing is his right hand on his left shoulder where the arm is missing, remembering the time he spent training with Piccolo, his father and even Trunks, the techniques he learned the way they flow from one punch into the next and how he used to.

Gohan was brought back to reality with Mercury offering himself to be a fighter in the next match "Mercury was it, let's find you an opponent"

"Actually, I wanna fight her" pointing at Pyrrha. Pyrrha is shocked squeaking out "Me?"

Glynda injects before the challenge can continue "I'm afraid Miss Nikos has just finished the match. I recommend you choose another partner."

Gohan seeing Ozpin slipping into the back of the classroom stands up and walks towards the middle of the combat floor, so this was what the old man was thinking

"how about me?" Gohan's words shock the entire classroom drawing everyone's attention. Ozpin had must of planned to have him fight to he could see Gohan's power. Glynda looked from Gohan back to the class only to see Ozpin nod to her

"if it's okay with Mercury, I guess you can fight him."

"A chance to fight a teacher, of course I'll take that, though I would have preferred poster child over there" Pyrrha glares at him as she steps to the side also wanting to see this fight.

As Mercury stands across from Gohan "you have it wrong I am not a teacher."

Gohan calms himself knowing he won't throw a punch in this fight but if he could just show the techniques of Mercury, it will help the other students if they have to face him in the festival plus, he couldn't let a student fight someone with such an intense dark aura. By showing is lightning quick defence he should also cover showing what Ozpin what he wants to see.

Everything falls silent and the excitement is building for some it was to see they're a future opponent, others is mysterious man who turned up. As Mercury rushes Gohan, Gohan doesn't even bother to get into a stance, Mercury goes for a high kick Gohan blocks it with his hand.

Time seems to stand still for Gohan as metal leg connects to the hand of Gohan 'just like the androids' something inside Gohan's mind just breaks. With speed and power undenounced to this world, holding Mercuries leg still from the block. Gohan kicks him, letting go of his leg, Mercury flies into the wall cracking it and he's aura breaking but it does not end there Gohan's aura flares up placing his hand out facing Mercury, it starts to crackle with energy, all Gohan can think of is destroying this Android, this hunk of junk but then he is launched into the wall.

Ozpin standing with his cane out pointed to were Gohan was. No one saw the blow from Gohan all they saw was Mercury fly away. Ozpin calls for a medical team to get to Mercury while the students need to evacuate, he knew this man was a danger but why would he do this in a fight, from what he remembered Gohan said he had great control of this power.

Ozpin stands over the down Gohan, who seems to be clutching his head with his one hand "Glynda take all of the students out of here"

Even over the shouts of telling everyone to leave the two teams that considered Gohan a friend stood still. The class was starting to move but all the two team couldn't think of was why would he do, why would he attack a student like that, have they got everything about him wrong. No, they had spoken to him, spend time with him, there must be something up, He wouldn't just do this.

The only other people who had not moved were Emerald and Cinder, they knew Mercury was not so weak to go down in one blow, so this worried them if this young man were to get involved in the plans, they could be in trouble but since the headmaster just saw them as students, they could use this as cover. Quickly moving forward to listen in if the headmaster was saying anything, by pretending they were seeing if their teammate was okay.

The school's medical team confirmed only a few broken ribs and a shattered aura, Ozpin calmed himself a bit knowing that no permanent damage was left to the boy and now what did you have to do with Gohan. watching Gohan carefully it seemed to be in combat these terrible memories were brought to the front of he's mind, and he wasn't fully in control, even now writhing in pain on the floor Gohan kept muttering androids. Ozpin knew he had to move the young man, grabbing him by his arm hoisting him up and leading him to the medical facility where he initially took Gohan when he arrived, at least down there he couldn't hurt anyone.

Team RWBY and team JNPR meet in team RWBY's room well most of the team members were worried about the health of Mercury, Yang was really impressed with the speed and power showed by Gohan, looking around the room even though she was in high spirits she given the impression this was not the time.

Weiss was disgusted with him" how could a teacher beat up on a student" to the surprise of everyone Pyrrha was the one who spoke up in the Gohan's defence

"I don't think he did it on purpose if you saw what he was doing when we were leaving, he was clutching his head, though he didn't seem to have stained any damage from Professor Ozpin's attack"

Ruby decided she needs to step in "teams we have a mission to look into Gohan" just as Ruby was going to continue.

"Yeah, heard something happened to Gohan" everyone jumped back to see a hanging Sun outside the window.

Yang states what everyone was thinking "How did you get up there?"

"Ah, it's easy, I do it all the time."

Weiss chiming in on the conversation "You do what?"

"I climb trees all the time."

Nora answering Sun's first question "Yeah Gohan was awesome, I didn't see what happened, but it must have been awesome for the professor to step in."

Ruby jumps up on the desk stating words she'd never think she'd have to say, "to the library."
