Chapter 4: Repercussions

Cam'Ron didn't wake up to go to school in fact he slept through it entirely. It was currently 8pm when he finally woke up. Cam'Ron groggily got up and was surprised when he pulled back his curtains to be met with a black sky. Before he could even go do anything he heard his communicator go off.

" Yeah what u need." he answered

" Thank god ur okay." Came the voice of Kim " We were all worried when yo didn't come to school what Happened?"

" I just was asleep all day." Cam'Ron said still not fully awake.

" What test did Zordon put you through that made you that tired?" She asked

" I told you already but now I know I'm gonna be up all night so that's tuff." He said

" Well at least you'll have company." Kim said

" What do you mean by that?" he asked

" Me and Trini are gonna come over in about an hour so be ready." she said

" I don't have a choice." he said

" You learn quick see you in a hour." she said.

" Ight teleport straight into my room when y'all are ready." he said before hanging up

Knowing that he only had a hour left he knew he needed to shower since he hadn't had 1 before going to sleep yesterday. After taking the shower he was gonna head to his kitchen to see what type of food he still had in his house. But when he turned the corner to enter his kitchen he ended up walking into a cell. Before blacking out.

Cam'Ron Pov

I woke up in a place I had never been before. The last thing I remember was heading to my kitchen to get snacks for when Trini and Kim came over. However I'm definitely not in my house right now.

" Ahh you finally woke up." Said the women that Zordon showed in the viewing globe the first day meeting.(a/n: Rita looks like she did in the movie I prefer her looking that way and I prefer her backstory although I will tweak it a little.)

" Zordon showed me you what's your name again Rita right." I said

" Yes I'm the future ruler of your meddlesome planet." she replied

" I see so why'd you take me instead of any of the others?" I asked

" Well 2 reasons actually I wanna know what's so special about you that Zordon keeps you around." she said walking into the cell. " Your the only human I've seen that can fight off my putties. Your stronger faster more agile and more durable than any other Human so what makes you so special."

" A good magician never reveals his tricks. But what's the second reason?" I inquired

" Well Zordon probably hasn't told you yet but I used to be a ranger." she whispered into my ear.

" I doubt that very much." I said

" Oh but it's true I was apart of his band of do gooders. However I realized something no matter how much we fought evil would always exist." she said

" So you chose evil?" I asked

" Chose is a strong word. The constant battles. The idea that you have to do everything the right way for no personal gain." she said

" So your saying you couldn't handle it." I said

" Not many could do you know that while being a ranger I saw the power transferred to so many over 20 times. My friends dying in battle or people being sent on missions they were truly never ready for." Rita said

" So why am I here once again?" I ask

" Well I still own the last original power coin and seeing how Zordon got himself some new Rangers looks like I should get one myself." she said

" And you think I'm gonna help you." I said

" Well your simply the most Ideal person on this planet to become my champion and as for helping me you don't really have a choice." she said.

" And why do you say that." I wondered

" Well if you don't I'll simply put a spell on you." she said

" And after everything that you've seen me do u really think that it'll work?" I question

" I was able to finally use a transportation spell on you who's to say that one won't work." she says with confidence. Hmm so she wasn't able to affect me before because of my connection to the grid but those test i did yesterday have left me vulnerable. Luckily for me I'm starting to feel the grids power but it's still weak.

" But you still don't know why that is huh." I taunt

" Doesn't matter because once I have you under control it won't matter I can simply tell you." she said with a smile

" I guess we'll just have to see about that." I said

" I guess we will. Enjoy your last day of freedom." she said

3rd person Pov

Kimberly and Trini had arrived at Cam'Ron's house 30 minutes ago and he was nowhere insight. At first they thought he might have went to the store but after 30 minutes now they knew he should be back.

" Where could he be Kim?" Trini asked

" I don't know we've checked everywhere that he could possibly be." Kim said

" We should probably call Zordon just to be safe." Trini said " Zordon we were supposed to meet Cam'Ron at his house but we've been here for 30 minutes but we haven't seen him."

" That is very troubling get some sleep and i'll have an update in the morning." Zordon replied

" Thanks Zordon." Kim sounded off

" No problem ill let you know what me and alpha find out in the morning." he said. This new information had Zordon very concerned. He had a feeling that Rita was involved but he thought Cam'Ron woulda been safe considering she hadn't gone after him yet. This was all gonna be trouble but he needed his rangers ready in case his worse fears were realized.
