Chapter 5: Rescue

Cam'Ron Pov

It was now morning and I was still in this cell although I think my powers are back. I was about to stand up and stretch.

" Your finally awake human." came the voice of Rita's servant Goldar

" She sent the help to check up on me I feel disrespected." I responded

" Shut up filthy human before I get in that cage and show you just how superior I am." he threatened

" You wouldn't dare defy the wishes of your queen. You might as well be soulless you have no will." I said

" Well how about I get in their and show you my will." he screamed stomping over to the entrance to my cage.

" Leave him alone Goldar." came the instruction of the evil sorceress.

" But." Goldar began

" He's too important to my plans for you to mess up." she said " Now leave us."

" You know I don't know why you think I'll be apart of you plans ." I said

" We'll you don't really have a choice now do you." Rita said

" Nah I do fight or submit, and I ain't neva been the submitting type." I replied

" You are quite amusing its gonna fun having you as my slave." She laughed

" Don't know how many times I gotta tell you that ain't gonna happen." I said

" We shall see." she said before walking off.

In the command center

Zordon had summoned all the rangers into the command center to explain the situation.

" Rangers I summoned you here today because Cam'Ron has been captured by Rita." Zordon explained causing looks of worry

" How'd she get him?" asked Trini

" We still don't know but we are devising a plan to save him but we need some more time. All we ask is that you remain ready when the opportunity arises." Zordon say

" Okay Zordon well be ready." Jason sounded off

" Jason can you stay back?" Zordon asked

" When me and alpha find a way to get into Rita's palace we can only send 1 of you. I know I'm asking a lot but can you not tell the other rangers?" Zordon asked

" Okay Zordon I'll keep it a secret." Jason said

Rita Palace

I had just been sitting here waiting for Rita's to attempt to make me her slave. Throughout the 3 days I've been here she's fed me and didn't allow anyone specifically Goldar to try anything.

" Wakey Wakey Cam'Ron." Rita said tapping on the bars of my cell. " Today you finally become my slave."

" I told you already that ain't gonna happen." I said

" You can believe that but no matter what it isn't your choice." she said. As soon as she finished the cell opened and some putties came and chained me up. Once I was secure they began to escort me to some random room in the palace. I was chained down to a table and all the light in the room was taken away. I heard Rita chanting off somewhere. However I didn't feel any different. And I could sense from Rita's screams that something hadn't gone right. Before I had time to speculate I felt the putties come grab me and start leading me back to my cell. They just threw me in there leaving me to my thoughts. Thoughts of happiness frim being able to halt her plans even if I don't know why.

Its kinda getting boring in this cell don't really got nothing to do besides just wait. I don't really have the greatest sense of how long she's had me captured for but I'd assume that its been at least 3 days. At this point I've pretty much come to the conclusion that either they gave up on me or they can't get here so looks the time for waiting is over. Getting up I walked over to the cell door and tried to channel any power that I might have. Closing my eyes and hoping that this works I began to pull as hard as I can and to my surprise the door burst off the hinges causing me to fall on my ass

" Well that was easier than I expected." I said. Getting up I now start to slowly make my way out into a hallway. I had to come to a quick halt as some putties came down the hall probably patrol in case of danger. Once they passed I snuck around the corner. Making my way through I had no idea what I was even looking for I guess some form of teleporter since they had to be able to get to earth somehow. I knew I would have to move quick before they found out that I was gone from my cell. As soon as I said that an Alarm sounded in the castle.

" The prisoner has escaped don't let him find the teleporter room." I heard the blaring voice of Rita. Well my job is gonna be 10 times harder now. I continue sneaking through the halls till I find a area flooded with putties. Looks like i'm not gone be able to get out of here. I see a sword on the wall and I grab it. Now trying to see just how many putties there are I realize that there is no smart way to do this. Walking over to the wall that blocks of the room I channel as much power as I possibly could and smash through the wall to cause a destraction. While all the knocked down putties tried to recover I lept through the hole cutting the head off the nearest one. After that its just taking out the putties as they come. I don't knoe how many there were but it felt never ending at this point. Every one I cut down was replaced and I was beginning to tire. While trying to block an incoming strike I was knock across the room from behind. Slowly getting up I see that Goldar had arrived on the scene.

" Oh your finally here Goldar took you long enough." I said while spitting out some blood.

" Yeah I'll give you 1 chance to give up." Goldar said

" You know the answer to that." I said

" Thats what I like to hear." Goldar replied. Not giving you a chance to ready yourself he swung downward forcing me to block. He continued to push on the offensive taking advantage of my tired state. When I finally saw another opportunity nut it was a mistake. As soon as I went for it he kicked me into the generator causing all the lights to go out. Taking the opportunity I disappear out the room but Goldar saw me leave giving me chase. As I turn the corner I feel a foreign sensation come over my body before I'm teleported to the command center.
